Part 31

I push open the flower shop's door. My eyes searching for the person I've been longing to see from the morning. Now no more hallucinations can stop me from meeting the real person.

Jungkook moves his eyes all around the shop but couldn't spot that particular person.

"Oh! Jungkook oppa. Welcome. How can I help you." Niki says as she saw him.

"Hey Niki. Umm... Where's Taehyung?"

"There is a grandmother living in the street behind our shop, Tae oppa has gone to her to deliver flowers."

"Ok I'll meet him there." Jungkook smiles & pats Niki on the head.

Exiting the shop he went straight to the street behind. There he spots Taehyung sneaky crouching behind the bushes.

'What is this guy doing after all?' Jungkook mumbles to himself.

"Hey Tae. What are-"

He was immediately silenced by Taehyung. "Shhhhh!!! Hide quickly." Taehyung whispers.

Without any question Jungkook obliges. From behind he notices Taehyung's clothes. A beautiful red kurti with cute little accessoris & hair braided loosely. He noticed that Taehyung wore different anklets today.

Don't think him as a creep but Jungkook inhales a deep breath getting hit with Taehyung's heavenly scent. Which was a mixture of roses & honey.

"Are you good at running?" Taehyung suddenly asks pulling Jungkook out of his daydream.

"Uh?.. hmm y-yeah I am."

"Then come with me."

Taehyung walks swiftly. Reaching in front of a door. Jungkook was confused, he wanted to ask him but Taehyung looked very consentrated. So he just looks around & sees a small boy climbing over the fence of the house, the same house in front of which they both stood.

"There's a boy over-"

"When I tell you to run, just run ok."

Jungkook's words were cut off & he saw Taehyung already looking at the little boy with a sinister smirk. And to be honest he didn't like that look on Taehyung's angel face.

The said little boy climbs on the mango tree with great difficulty. He then opens his small bag slowly filling it with ripe mangoes.

Half way in... Taehyung rings the door bell, bangs his fists on the door & shouts over his lungs. "UNCLE. THERE'S A THIEF IN YOUR BACKYARD. HE'S STEALING YOUR HARD GROWN MANGOES. HURRY!!!! CALL THE COPS. ARREST THAT LITTLE DEVIL."

"Now RUN!!!"

Jungkook didn't get the chance to process what's going on & Taehyung was quick to grab his hand & run from there. Just then the door opens revealing a big bulky uncle. "Who's there!?"

The boy got started & dropped his bag filled with mangoes. Taehyung ran & caught the bag, before running in full speed. They can hear the uncle scolding the boy.

"Haaaa.... Hehehe... Well deserved.... Y-you little devil." Taehyung laughs like a maniac, occasionally huffing & puffing in between to catch his breath. He passes the mango bag to Niki.

"What was that dramatic sh*t?" Jungkook finally asks, also trying to catch his breath.

"REVENGE" Taehyung replies with a sudden coldness in his voice, freezing Jungkook with his coldness. But later he laughs it off.

"Haha. I mean, one day I asked that kid to share his mangoes with me but that brat showed me attitude & told me to go get it myself!!! Can you believe it. He was sooo arrogant, not cute at all. So I taught him a lesson." Taehyung complains with a pout on his lips which Jungkook found very adorable. He couldn't understand if that boy was a kid or Taehyung. "If my child ever becomes like him, I will woop his ass."

"& I will protect our child."Jungkook mumbles.😏

"Huh? Did you say something?"

"Ah no no nothing. Here this is for you."

Taehyung eyes sparkle, looking at the shiny black bangles. "Aww. You remember it.... It's good that you gave it to me, otherwise..." He glares cutely at Jungkook making him chuckle.

"Ok now let's go out & hang around. I want to know you better."

Taehyung suddenly feels shy, remembering their plan. Now that he looks at Jungkook he's looking so handsome. With all black outfit & small hoops in his ears. Taehyung never knew Jungkook has tatooes but now that he had a good look at his right arm, The tattoos make him feel a bit intimidated.

He thought compared to Jungkook, he himself looks so basic. He even forgot to wash his hair today, that is why he braided them.

"What's the matter?" Jungkook quickly noticed the uncertain look on Taehyung's face & decided to ask anyway.

"Um.. do I look good? Should I change in something else?" He asks.

Jungkook gave him an encouraging smile. "You look gorgeous. Just one thing is missing. Here."

Taehyung tilts his head as Jungkook gave him another gift box. He opens it & smiles brightly with hues of red over his cheeks. "These are... So beautiful. Thank you."

"May I?" Jungkook asks.

He felt extremely elated when Taehyung nods. He carefully slips the pink bangles on Taehyung's wrist, trying not to hurt him. He was enjoying, feeling Taehyung's soft palms but he was also relieved that he chose the correct size.

After making Taehyung wear the bangles, Jungkook lifts his hands up observing them. "Perfect."

All this while Taehyung just softly gazed at Jungkook. He didn't know why but Jungkook's touch felt like fire, making him feel all hot & bothered. But at the same time his touch felt so warm, so soft, so gentle, so right. It gave Taehyung this feeling of safety & belongingness. Like he was engulfed in a protective embrace.

Jungkook suddenly gave a light peck, right over the bangles on Taehyung's right hand. Making sure not to lay his lips on his skin. Not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable. He will have to wait & earn Taehyung's trust before he can rightfully peck & kiss this beauty.

And he will try his best.

Taehyung with his face as red as an apple stared at Jungkook with wide eyes & open mouth. Jungkook smirks & taps his chin, as if saying to close his mouth or he will do it himself.😏

"Now you look like an unmatched beauty. Let's go, so that we can return before evening. But even if it's late you're always welcome in my home & In my room." He chuckles looking at Taehyung's accusing eyes. "Because Maa & Jimin misses you a lot."

Then he pulls Taehyung with himself. Going out to spend some time with him, knowing him & most important to earn his trust.

Lots of hanging out together & having fun *as friends😑*. Slow build up of trust.

{1 month later ᕙ⁠(⁠ ⁠~⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠~⁠ ⁠)⁠ᕗ}

Tae feeling comfortable enough around kook to complain against his tatooes scaring & intimidating him. & Kook happily hiding them until Taehyung gets used to them.

{2 months later (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)}

Kook taking lots of pictures of his new found *date*. He asked Tae, if he could court him & Tae agreed without hesitation.

{3 months later (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡}

Taekook being happy & carefree in eachother's presence, forgetting the world around them. Now Tae trusts Kook to a certain good level & believes he is *the one for him*.
