Part 13

The Maha Aarti got over & the priest came beside us putting his both hands on our heads. "May Lord Shiva & Devi Parvati bless you, and may you both always remain a couple, together forever."

Jungkook was looking at Taehyung &Taehyung was looking at Jungkook. As Tae is a bit shorter than Jungkook, he has to crane up his neck to do so.

Har Har Mahadev, Har Har Mahadev...

People started to move out of the temple making the place clear, one by one. The chants of Mahadev echoing throughout the premises.

But taekook were still standing in their previous position. Eyes locked & hands around one another.

"Bua, what's happening?" Jimin whispered to Yeobin who has her jaw dropped on the floor & eyes wide, looking at her son in amazement. Jimin was no different. Because of the previous crowd Yoongi suggested him to stay out, so that he won't be uncomfortable inside. So when he came in after a while, he was amused to see Jungkook & Taehyung so close to each other. That too with a beautiful garland around their neck.

"I don't know Jimin-ah. But I think the Lord has granted me my wish." She turned to Jimin & smiled brightly at him and Jimin did the same.

"I'll go wake them up from their daydream." Jimin snickered.

He went up to taekook & threw the remaining flower petals on them. "Hey Lord, thank you for the great view." He exclaimed loudly.

Both Tae & Kook jumped in shock finally realising their state. A red glow appeared on Taehyung's cheeks & for some reason it fascinated Jungkook. He wants to see more of that reddish color on Taehyung's cheeks, it's makes him look adorable.

"*ahem* Tae the pooja is over. You can offer that Garland to the Lord." He chuckles. The state of Taehyung being flustered & trying to hide his red face is hilarious to him. While Jungkook is starring at him in a daze.

Jimin then pokes Jungkook's shoulder. "Same goes for you too kook-ah."

On hearing Jimin's teasing voice taekook decided to walk on different directions so that they are away from one another. But they forgot about one thing; the Garland. And so, they were pulled back & this time their backs collided together.

"Hahaha. It's as if this Garland doesn't want you two to seperate."

Taehyung started to struggle out of the Garland but couldn't so Jungkook holds his hand calmly. "Let me do it. Hmm?" He first removed the Garland from his neck then helped Taehyung. While doing so his hand touched Tae's smooth neck, sending shivers down him unknowingly.

"Don't move it's tangled in your hair." He gently lift Tae's hair with his left hand & with his right hand he removed the Garland. As soon as Taehyung was free he made a run towards the exit, his heart beating rapidly.

Jungkook stood there awkwardly with the Garland in hand. "Son you can keep that. It's a blessing from the Lord themselve." The priest told him. He nodded hesitantly.

"Eeeee." Yeobin who was watching the whole scenario started squealing like a teenage girl who just saw her most favorite ship sailing. "Jimin-ah aren't those two so cute." Jimin laughed at her childish squeal. "Bua, what did you even wish for?"

"I can't tell. Wait for the right time." Yeobin said & took the parshad from the priest. Then made her way outside the temple, Jungkook tailing behind her.

"Aww, bua don't be like that. Tell me your wish .. Pretty please~" Jimin whined & ran after Yeobin.

"JIMIN QUIT RUNNING, FOR GOD'S SAKE." Yoongi, his mother & his father all shouted at the same time.

Outside the temple the Jeon & Min family gathered in front of their cars. The other guests that accompanied them already went back.

"Let's go fast & look if something is needed back at home." Min mami said, everyone nodded.

"A-aunty Yeobin. Can I come in your car, please." Taehyung asked. His eyes turning big like an innocent puppy.

"Aww baby, of course you can. Come." She made him sit in the back seat, then looked at her son. "Bunny I'll be taking Tae with me, ok? You come in your car with Jimin & Yoon. Drive safely." Saying so she sat beside Tae & headed home.

"Kook give me the keys, I'll drive us back." Yoongi offered.

"Hmm."

This time Jimin sat in the front seat, kook in the back & yoongi in the driver's seat. After some time of peaceful driving in silence, Jungkook decided to speak up.

"Jimin what was that... About Taehyung completing his granny's mannat?" He asked curiously.

"O that. When Tae & I were in my room we were talking about various things. But when it was around 11am, I guess... He suddenly stood up & grabbed a glass of water. Hahaha." In middle of his story telling, Jimin started to laugh as if what's he's about to tell is so funny.

"What was he doing with the water, mochi?"

"Yoonie, I'm telling you Taehyung is a really fun person to be around with." Yoongi felt his heart at ease just by looking at his love laughing so freely & beautifully. He nodded at him. "If you say then I'm sure he is."

"Tell us already Jimin."

"O yes yes back to that. He took the glass & came to me..."

"... And like this you can make a beautiful little butterfly."

"Wow so cool. I'll definitely try it some time."

Really Taehyung is so talanted. Right now he taught me how to make an origami butterfly with paper.

It's been just a few minutes but i feel so comfortable with him. He also took great care of me. He gives me the vibe of a soulmate. Like we know each other for so long & yet I was about to burst out on him a while ago. But thank god that didn't happen.

Because not only Taehyung is amazing, he also knows how to handle a difficult situation without making anyone feel guilty or bad about themselves. Yes, I admit. After each outburst of mine, I feel really bad for the others. They have to deel with my not so logical reasons for crying or being angry. It makes me feel really guilty afterwards.

But thanks to my new soulmate I was saved from making a scene today.

"Thank you Tae. From now on you're my one & only soulmate." I declared to him happily. I thought he will be happy too but for some reason his face dropped.

"S-soulmate?... M-me... Your soulmate?" There is an emotion of sadness in his eyes. I can't say exactly but I guess he doesn't want to be my soulmate. Or is it something else...?.

"Tae are you ok? I didn't wanted to make you uncomfortable. If you already have a soulmate.... It's ok." 'It's not ok, I want Tae to be my soulmate.'

But to my relief he hugged me, as if in dire need of comfort. So I hug him & pat his back.

"I would love to be your soulmate, Jimin." I hear him say & this time I'm sure he has a big smile on his face. But I also feel small droplets of water on my neck. "Tae are you crying? Why are you crying?"

He moved away from me & quickly wiped his eyes. "No I'm not. Why would I."

I hold his face in my hands. I was about to say something when suddenly he got up & grabbed a glass of water. He brought that glass to me.

"Jimin please hold this."

"Wh-..."

"Just hold it. It's almost time." I look at him with curiousity trying to decipher what is he doing.

He closed his eyes & joined his hands as if praying. "O grandma, you old hag, I curse you." Hearing his first line my eyes almost bulged out of my eye sockets.

"Because of you I'm forced to walk through hell for one hour each day. Damn you. I hope your fake teeth fall off & the neighbors dog poop in your vegetable garden.... Amen."

"Tae what are you doing. How can you curse your grandma? Is she not your own grandma or..-?"

"No Jimin this prayer is for my own grandma and I love her verrryyy much."

I'm confused if he loves his grandma why would he say all those things. Taehyung seem to read my expression & explains calmly.

"You see Jimin... When I was a teenager, I often got into fights because of my big mouth. And grandma was afraid that because of my big mouth, no boy nor his family will like me. She even tried to convince me to talk less but I never listened. That's why she came up with this ridiculous idea."

"Your grandma sure sounds interesting Tae." I smile at him. I can clearly see the fondness in his eyes for his grandma. I wish I could spend some more time with my grandma but alas she passed away when I was merely five years old. "I would love to meet her."

"Sure, I know you will like her." He chuckles. "You must try her chicken curry, it's delicious. And yes next time I'll bring strawberries from her garden for you. They're yummy too." Taehyung is so happy to talk about his grandma but I want to tease him.

"Tae did you ever wonder why her strawberries taste so yummy?" My question made his sit back & think.

"..Maybe it's her special fertilizer..?"

"You mean the 'special neighbors dog poop fertilizer?'.. " And there it is the horrified expression on his face that made me laugh loudly. He stick out his tongue & wipe it with his dupatta.

"Hahaha...Yuck Tae that's nasty. Don't do that."

I laugh even more after his silly tantrum.

By the way Tae's grandma is a village lady, who's first priority is their grandson's marriage. 😌
