As soon as Emily inserted the two stones in the pendant, at first nothing happened. But in no time, the sky grew darker and darker as the dark clouds hid the crescent moon behind them. The wind started picking up the speed. The leaves, the grasses, the trees, the branches - all began swaying in a wild fashion as if a cyclone was about to come.

Emily looked down at the pendant in her hands. The pendant was extremely gorgeous and enchanting. The embedded diamonds began shining followed by the shining of the three emerald stones inside the heart-shaped pendant.

Soon the entire area was enveloped with a soothing emerald light radiating from the pendant.

A beam of emerald-colored light shot from the heart shape to the sky - piercing the clouds. Everyone looked up in awe.

Slowly, what once was covered with dark clouds now was an enthralling sight to see as the emerald light began to dance like northern lights.

Everyone including Diana was mesmerized by the beauty of it. The lights soon formed a cluster and exploded with white sparkles as something strange began happening around Diana.

It was like Diana was in the center of the sparking light which was circling around her.

Suddenly, Diana's soul began gracefully emerging out of Hannah's body.

As Hannah's body collapsed on the ground, Rose and John rushed to take an unconscious Hannah away from the scene, away from Diana's soul.

Then all of a sudden, something emerged from the light right beside Diana.

"M-mom?... Mom!" Diana exclaimed and wrapped her hands around her mother.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you, mom!" Diana broke down crying with her arms still around her mom. "It had been so long."

"Don't cry, Diana," She stroked her hairs. "I've missed you so much." She said in a loving voice.

"I still remember that day so vividly, mom, when dad and I got a call from the police station. The cops were saying how someone had crashed your car badly and how you have died in the accident." Diana said sobbing, "When they found out about the person who was behind the wheels that day, all I remembered was that they were nothing but a bully. I never felt so helpless like that in my entire life. All I wanted was to bring you back, to have you near me again. But I couldn't do anything. I had lost you, I had lost you forever and there was nothing I could do to bring you back.

I cried and cried and cried. No matter what, the tears refused to stop. The days were harder and the nights were longer but the incompleteness in my heart never got filled.

At school, they kept bullying me. No one cared about my loss. They just kept laughing and laughing and making fun of me. I was so lonely. I had no one. After you left, there was no one to dry my tears, to take away my pain, to read me stories, to magically heal my broken heart, to tell me that everything will be ok, no one to hold onto, no one I could lean onto, no one I could call home. It felt like every day I was drowning and drowning with no one to hold, no one to pull me out. The world was such a confusing and mean place without you. No one was like you. No one to hear my pain, or celebrate my happiness, or chase away my dark clouds. I was so lost without you. I was holding onto your illusions but at least they were better than the truth. Why did you have to go, mom?

When you left, dad got himself into drinking. Every night he would come home late, always drunk. I used to lock myself up in my room so that I could save myself from the devil he had become. If only you were there. You would have made everything better. You always do. Everything was falling apart and I was so helpless. I missed you terribly but nothing I did made you return.

I prayed and prayed and prayed to God to bring you back. I told Him that I would trade anything to get you back in my life. But He never listened.

All I had left of yours was the pendant that you gave me. I held it close to my heart more than anything. That pendant was the only thing which used to give me a reason to live without you, the only thing that gave me strength.

And when that day, those three took it away from me, they not only took the pendant away which was the last thing I had of you, but they took away you from me. I cried I begged, I was on my knees but still, they took it. I told them what the pendant meant to me, but no! They never stopped bullying.

When they pushed me, they thought that they were saved, they thought that no one knew about how they killed me, but I was not letting them go this easily. They had snatched you away from me! And so I cursed the pendant. I wanted to make them feel how it would've felt to lose someone you love, someone close to your heart, someone who didn't deserve to die, someone for whom you would trade even the world to see them again, to feel safe in their embrace but no matter what you do, you would always be helpless."

Holding onto her mother, Diana cried and cried. She was heartbroken and torn. As Father Murphy said, she was just a fallen angel.

"Diana," Her mother knelt down and wiped her tears. "Listen to me," She continued in a calm voice still breaking inside after hearing the crushing feelings of her daughter. Diana was attached to her mom more than anything. No wonder why she had that pendant closest to her heart and filled with vengeance when they snatched it away from her.

"You are my brave daughter, you know that? You handled the loss like a brave girl. I am so proud of you, Diana. I know it was unfair - the situation that you had to go through.

No one knows what had written in our fate. No one knows what will happen next when life takes a roller-coaster turn. But you handled all the challenges very well.

Even though I wasn't there with you physically, I was always watching over you. All those times when you felt like you were alone, I was there in your heart. Diana, I'm always with you. A mother never leaves their child even after her death. That's how strong her bond is. That's how strong her love is. I was always there to guide you - you just didn't know about it. And I don't blame you, Diana. I'm so proud of how you handled life without me.

And all those times that you were praying to God? I used to listen to all of them. And when you tell Him about your day - good or bad - I was happy for you when things were good but prayed to Him to give you strength when life got rough.

My heart always broke down seeing you cry every night due to the bullies and your father. You were hurting, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to share your pain, but I always prayed to give you the strength and the courage you need to carry on.

But Diana, look around, love, I get it that you were furious and wanted vengeance on those who wronged you, who snatched me away from you, but I know my Diana and she is not like this.

In the rage of getting even, getting vengeance on the ones who wronged you, you did more harm than good, injuring those who had nothing to do with how those bullies treated you.

You cursed the pendant, it's ok, I get it, I don't blame your feelings or I'm not telling you that they were wrong, but the fact that you harmed good people was, who never wronged you.

You wanted to get justice, that's ok, but the path of destruction that you took to fulfill it is not.

Think about it Diana, you made Olivia kill herself. All you saw was a bully but what you didn't see was a changed person, a loving sister, and a daughter. By killing her, you took Olivia away from her sister and her parents.

When you killed Harry, you made John lost his best friend who always stood by him when John was getting bullied.

Between those who deserved to be killed and those who did not, you forgot that a thin line existed between them. Diana, He will take care of the bad people. And yes, sometimes it does take time, but their karma will always come back to bite them. We don't always have to get their bloodstains on our hands.

You almost killed Father Murphy out of rage but in the process, people would've lost the person who shows them light, guides them when they get lost just like how I guide you when you are down and out.

And because of you, Rose and David lost their daughter. Put yourself in their shoes. Aren't they feeling the same thing you felt when you lost me?

The curse had gone long enough, Diana, it's time to take it back." Diana's mother said with a warm smile as she hugged her daughter.

"I think this belongs to you," Emily said with a smile as she opened her fist revealing the pendant with all the three emerald stones inside the heart, embedded with diamonds, on her palm.

Diana looked at Emily. Her eyes weren't filled with furry. There were tears of happiness and calmness that ran through her face.

She looked at the pendant, took it from Emily's hand, and looked at her. It was the first time anyone had seen Diana smile.
