After Ansh and I entered the office, we immediately delved into work. The attack on our warehouse wasn't just a random hit-it was a direct challenge. My blood boiled as I thought of the audacity behind it. Whoever orchestrated this would regret it. I wouldn't just retaliate; I'd make an example out of them, ensuring no one else dared cross us again.
We were reviewing the initial reports when Vicky, one of our trusted underbosses, knocked and entered the office. His expression was grim, which only confirmed my suspicions.
"I want you to keep a close eye on Nitin," Ansh instructed, his tone sharp and unforgiving. "I think he's double-playing us."
Vicky nodded without hesitation. "Sure, boss. But there's more. I believe Jatin is planning to betray us. He's been meeting with the enemy."
A smirk tugged at my lips, though there was no humor in it. "Have someone watch his every move," I ordered, my voice calm but deadly.
"Yes, boss," Vicky replied, bowing slightly before leaving the room.
Ansh leaned back in his chair, his brows furrowed. "You think it's Jatin behind the attack?"
"Yes," I said firmly. "He's held a grudge against us for a long time. The timing lines up perfectly."
Ansh nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing as he processed my words.
I leaned back in my chair, tapping my fingers against the desk as the rage simmered just beneath the surface. "We need a big attack," I said, my voice cold and decisive. "If we don't retaliate with force, people will think we're weak. They'll start coming for our throne."
Ansh's eyes gleamed with calculated determination. "I've already taken measures," he replied, his voice steady. "I've set up tracking and trapping devices on every underboss's phone. If someone's playing dirty, I'll find out soon enough."
I gave a curt nod, trusting his methods. Ansh always had a way of staying a step ahead, and that was one of the reasons we ruled with such dominance.
He stood, adjusting his cuffs with a sense of purpose. "I have some other work to take care of. I'm heading to my cabin," he said, turning to leave.
"Good," I replied, watching him stride out of the room.
I turned my attention to the shipment heading to Germany, meticulously going over the logistics. Every detail had to be perfect-timing, routes, security. There was no room for error in our line of work. But the lingering anger from the warehouse attack gnawed at me, threatening to distract me from the task at hand.
A sharp knock at the door pulled me from my focus. Vicky stepped in, his expression uneasy. "Boss, we can't track Nitin. I think he's gone underground."
The words hit me like a spark to dry wood, igniting my fury. I slammed my fist on the desk, the sound echoing through the room. "What do you mean you don't know where he is? I gave you one job, Vicky. One job! And you can't even manage that?"
Vicky flinched but stood his ground, nodding in silent acknowledgment of his failure.
Before I could lash out further, my phone buzzed with a notification. A message from Nidhhi appeared on the screen: Mrs. Singh is here.
I exhaled sharply, trying to reel in my anger. Moments later, the door opened, and Naina stepped in. For a brief moment, my frustration melted away as I took her in. She looked stunning, her presence lighting up the room in a way nothing else could.
But business came first. I turned to Vicky, my voice calm yet commanding. "I need him today. Do whatever it takes."
"Yes, sir," he replied before turning to leave.
As the door opened, Naina walked in, her presence immediately shifting the air in the room. My gaze softened for a brief second before I refocused. The man nodded to her respectfully on his way out.
She walked around my desk, her expression curious yet concerned. "Is there a problem?" she asked, her voice soft but steady.
"There's nothing for you to worry about," I replied, brushing it off. "So... why are you here?"
She smiled slightly, tilting her head. "I was just checking out your office. Maybe you could give me a position-I'm bored staying home."
Before I could continue, the door swung open, and Ansh walked in, his trademark smirk firmly in place. "Hello, wifey," he greeted, his tone light and teasing. I glanced at him, our silent exchange filled with understanding and amusement as Naina's blush deepened under his gaze.
I glanced at Ansh as he entered the room, his usual smirk in place as his eyes fell on Naina,"She wants to work with us," I told him, my tone casual.
For a moment, neither of them responded. The silence stretched, thick and heavy, until Ansh finally spoke, his tone mocking. "And why should we trust you with our business, wife?"
Her cheeks burned, but she refused to back down. "Because I'm not just your wife. I'm capable of more than you give me credit for."
Rudra leaned forward, resting his elbows on the desk. His lips curved into a slow, predatory smile. "Prove it."
Before she could respond, he snapped his fingers. The sound was sharp, commanding, and immediately, the door clicked shut behind her. Her pulse quickened as she turned to see the lock engage. The windows were shrouded in darkness, suffocating the sunlight and leaving the room in shadow.
"What are you doing?" she demanded, her voice wavering despite her efforts to remain composed.
Ansh chuckled, low and dark. "This will be a private interview, wife. No interruptions."
Rudra stood, his movements deliberate, unhurried. He rounded the desk, his imposing frame casting a shadow over her. Without warning, he grabbed her waist, his grip firm but not unkind, and lifted her onto the table. She gasped, instinctively grabbing his arms for balance, her legs dangling off the edge.
"What are you-" she began, but he silenced her with a look.
"You're special, Naina. Your interview will be special," Rudra murmured, his voice soft, almost tender, but there was something dangerous lurking beneath the surface.
Ansh chose that moment to join them, dragging a chair over and sitting directly in front of her. He crossed his legs casually, his expression calm but his eyes burning with intent. "Start talking, wife. Tell us about yourself."
Naina opened her mouth, but before she could form a word, Rudra's lips descended on her neck, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin. She gasped, arching into him involuntarily. "What-what are you doing?"
"Giving you better access," Ansh drawled, leaning in to kiss her other side, his tongue flickering out to taste her flesh.
She fumbled, her thoughts scattering as their hands roamed freely, their touches deliberate, calculated. It was too much, too fast, and yet her body betrayed her, responding to their ministrations with a heat she couldn't control.
"Stop... please," she whispered, though her voice lacked conviction.
Rudra pulled back slightly, his breath hot against her ear. "Why? You know you want this, Naina. Admit it."
Her cheeks burned, but she couldn't deny the way her body ached under their attention. She licked her lips nervously, trying to gather her wits, but Ansh chose that moment to step up his game. He gripped her chin, forcing her to look at him. His eyes were alight with mischief, daring her to resist.
"Talk to us, wife. Introduce yourself."
She swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper. "My name is Naina. I-"
But she couldn't finish. Rudra had moved lower, his lips finding the curve of her shoulder, his tongue tracing the neckline of her dress. Ansh wasn't far behind, his hand sliding up her thigh, inching closer to where she needed him most.
"Oh God..." she moaned, her resolve crumbling.
It was Rudra who answered, his voice thick with desire. "That's right, wife. Just let go. We've waited long enough."

"Take her to the sofa," Ansh said suddenly, his voice rough. "We need to make this more comfortable."
Rudra didn't argue. He slid one arm under her knees and the other around her back, lifting her effortlessly. She squirmed, her hands gripping his shoulders as he carried her to the nearby sofa. He set her down gently, but the moment she was seated, both men descended on her, their hands and mouths working in tandem.

"Beautiful," he murmured, his voice husky.
Ansh broke the kiss, his breathing ragged as he pulled back to admire her. "Look at her, Rudra. So perfect."

"Please..." she begged, her voice breaking.
"Please what?" Rudra asked, his voice teasing as he continued to torment her.
"I... I need-"

Hey everyone,
How are you all? I know some of you might not be happy with me, and I completely understand. This year has been an emotional rollercoaster for me, especially with some serious problems I've been dealing with since July.
Because of this, I haven't been able to give my full attention to my book or my readers. But here's some good news-I'm sharing the second last chapter of this year with you all!
I'll be posting the final chapter soon, before the year ends.
This chapter is unedited and raw, just for you. However, after 12 AM, I'll be deleting parts of it and moving them to Inkitt and ScrollStack for exclusive content.
So hurry up and read it now! Don't forget to like, comment, and share your thoughts-it means the world to me!
And lastly, a word of caution for everyone:
Please don't trust anyone with money, especially if someone suggests withdrawing a loan or making financial transactions in your name, promising to pay you in return. This is often a trap, and unfortunately, my family and I are currently suffering because of such a situation.
Stay alert, stay safe, and always double-check before making any financial decisions.
