Chapter 104 of 104

Notes and Thank You's

Journey of a Girl341 words~2 min read

Hello dear reader!

Well, well, well. We've reached the end of book two, and the halfway point in the Bedtime Story series. This one was a significant change (I feel) from the tone of the first story, but hopefully keeping with the spirit of things.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for reading!

If you feel inclined, please let me know what you think of it! There was certainly a lot to unpack in this one, wasn't there? Out of all four books, this was the most difficult to write, and will no doubt undergo changes before I'm satisfied. I've learned so much about the writing/editing/publishing process with this story, and I cannot express enough gratitude for those who were with me on this ride!

You've helped me so much, and for that I will always be grateful.

But what about Credence and Josiah FINALLY reuniting, huh?!

What the heck has Josiah been up to—and what does he mean when he says he DIED?!

All will be revealed in book three, along with answers to questions like:

What sort of creatures are Hag Dancers and Grave Weepers?

How are clouds really made?

What does a circus look like in these dark dark woods?

Get ready for an action-packed serving of spiders, crow men, dungeons, wicked kings, sheep of ancient gods, and more big ol' bears!

Poor Credence had a difficult journey, but Josiah has arguably seen worse.

Titled The Beast Within, book three will (hopefully) arrive sometime this coming winter or spring. Unlike book two, The Beast Within will be released all at once, or in much larger sections at a time, so those who wish to continue the Bedtime Story adventure won't have to wait for weekly chapter releases!

You'll find a sneak peek of the cover for it below!

I shouldn't choose, but if I had a favorite, it would be The Beast Within. I do hope you'll join me for it.

Ta-ta,

Lady in Tower
