CHAPTER 152 **Be Careful who you Steal From!**

The words were so astonishing that everyone in the room turned silent, silent because they had no words! They would have never believed that the Empress Dowager would change her mind like that and say something so completely harsh towards the Empress!

“M…Mother in law…” The Empress stuttered, also at a loss.

“I also know that you want to put someone else’s disappearance upon her as well…”

“What?” The Empress continued to lose her face and looked wide eyed at the Empress Dowager.

The Empress Dowager then turned towards the Emperor, and said, “I want this person removed as Empress, I also demand to have Princess Sahara come to me!”

…Everyone went silent once again…This certain type of progress!

No one…No one had thought that these words would come out of the Empress Dowagers mouth! The words ‘removed as Empress’ had hardly been thought of by anyone in the room!

The Empress Dowager was still not sure on what she was doing but seeing the Empress and remembering the past times with her, the old woman knew that she was bad news…And now, she was willing to fight to remove her from her son and from the seat that gave her power! She was no ‘Mother of Green Haven’, in fact, with all that she has done wrong, it wouldn’t be hard to remove her! The Empress Dowager had made the first step and that was to bring up the Empress’s departure!

…Seeing what Sahara had shown her, only became more evidence that the Empress was not a good person, so the Empress Dowager was just wanting to make the Empress admit to her bad deeds now. Of course, her thoughts may not happen, as the Empress was not one that would admit to anything that the Empress Dowager wanted her too!

…It had really been a long day already, having taken some time to get from the outer part of Green Haven, to here, but there was one thing that the Empress Dowager did know that she wanted…And that was to talk once again with Sahara.

She had wanted to earlier, but every time that she went to visit the carriage with Sahara in it, all Sahara had done was sleep.

It hadn’t been easy to think things through, but she was sure that Sahara hasn’t finished her journey, so, she did not want death for the girl…Because…What if it wasn’t a lie, or something dreamt…What if the end of the world was coming?

…And this was why she wanted to speak with her again…

“I…”

The Empress had no idea on what brought a change in the Empress Dowager, but the Emperor gave her no time to continue to think too much on the matter or even speak. “I will not do anything rash, the Empress has been the Empress for a long time, yet…My mother herself is stating this…For the time being, I want Princess Sahara returned and the Empress confined, is that enough for now, Imperial Mother?”

He couldn’t make judgements on his own, but he will indeed bring up this matter to his ministers!

His son will have to accompany him to court, as he and the General were witnesses in the Empress using another army, to kidnap Sahara. His son was also a witness to when the Empress had tried to bargain for the Spirit Convert Association. Then, he himself had seen that his Empress had tried to do things by herself, without the consent of others, and she had made a fool of herself both times!

Yet, at the same time, the Emperor then thought of the repercussions of bringing this news to the public, as Sahara was also at fault…Inwardly sighing, the Emperor will have to think of this in more detail on his own later!

The empress dowager nodded, “Indeed, I will grant others to do her work and will tell you why I want her removed.”

The Emperor nodded and spoke to the guard near the entrance, “Seal this place upon my departure, no one is to come in or out without my approval! Empress, you have no choice but to tell us where Sahara is, this has gone out of your control and only if you’re lucky, may you still live after leaving here!”

Matthew wanted to scoff…

Lucky? She had another chance at living, and this is what she choose to do! She was already lucky enough!

The Empress slumped and looked down, frowning…This wasn’t what she expected at all!

It was supposed to be played out a lot better than this! Why had Imperial Mother suddenly changed her mind!? We had talked very happily together last time…Where had I gone wrong?

“Where is she!” Matthew said this through clenched teeth, unable to wait any longer!

The Empress let out a huff, but stayed silent, thinking very quickly on what she should do!

She had wanted death for this Sahara, not only because she vexed her greatly, but Sahara was someone she now had in her grasp and knew would probably not get again! Her time was now! And…It was probably already too late! But…How could she keep her position? Wouldn’t it be better to give her back? Even if the enchantress was already…Dead?

“Are you planning to not punish her for what she has done? Have I done something wrong?” The Empress used her words righteously and wondered what they would say in return.

“You went against my word, are you saying that you are above the law as well?” The Emperor was really over this!

The empress looked at the Emperor, and stated, “I am in charge of the women in the harem, am I not? If a Princess is acting uncouth, isn’t it my job to discipline them? Would she not be lucky if I don’t demand her to divorce the Second Prince due to not fulfilling her position in the right way?”

“You have overstepped your boundaries, Empress!” Matthew stated, holding himself back from killing her right there and then.

How dare she!? How dare she lay one finger on my bride! How dare she even think of divorce!? It took me too long to get my beloved to become my wife! She is already pregnant with my child! This talk is completely ridiculous!

The Empress then sighed, “Then I am sorry, but…I am not sure if she will be in one piece, she may have even already admitted to her mistake…”

Matthew wanted to walk closer to the empress, but again, the Emperor stopped him, “Tell us where Princess Sahara is.”

The empress shrugged, and said, “The cold palace. Where else would a misbehaving Princess be kept?”

Matthew disappeared before anyone could do or say anything else…

Sahara woke up to an extreme amount of pain and she blinked, trying to get her eyes to focus.

Feeling very weak, it was hard to move and make out what was going on.

Upon feeling even more pain, she yelled out, putting her head back, finally coming to realize that she was being hung up at the moment.

…It wasn’t like when she was getting whipped from that Prince, as she realized she wasn’t ‘hanging’, but had something to strap her against a wooden plank or two.

“Quick put her back to sleep!”

“No!” Sahara growled out through her pain, but it was too late, they hit the groggy, awakening Sahara in the back of the neck, and she found blackness overtake her again.

But…It wasn’t like she didn’t know what was going on…

The spiritual essence told her of what happened and…What is currently happening…And Sahara felt completely cold as rage filled her entire core!

Not only did she think that this was what she might get in karma, for selfishly using her power, but the idea of it…The reason she was feeling pain…It was all too much!

As though feeling the same, the spiritual essence seemed to let her know whatever she wanted, but she would have threatened them immensely if they didn’t anyway…Luckily, she didn’t have to do that!

Sahara had been taken to the cold palace, just as the Empress said, but what they had just finished doing, was cutting out the child from within her and practically leaving her for dead…

As Sahara was still unable to awaken properly, she could feel the spiritual essence follow the golden essence of her newborn child and Sahara knew, that one of those women of Matthew’s was involved in this!

She had stolen her baby…

It seemed that they had cut right into her womb, carefully bringing out the child and making sure that he was alive…

Being seven months, not going to full term, Sahara saw that his essence was slowly getting weaker, and it pained her tremendously.

He was slightly shivering and was in the air so early after coming away from her, that her heart grew colder and colder. He had a small, shrill cry and they had even tried to shush him, while running away with him!

He is having enough troubles! Why, why cover his mouth and make things even harder for him!

Coming from 21st century Earth, Sahara could see now, upon why premature babies had so much trouble and her heart could hardly take it!

With her daughter, in her previous life, Sahara had been blessed to have her at full term, she had pretty good health too…So, this, a premature child, was new to Sahara. She hadn’t even met and seen personally a baby in one of those little cribs, she had only heard about them!

Panic about a number of things were really starting to overwhelm Sahara…

What was happening, she knew it was real, but why…Why had she woken up to this!?

Why is it that her body has been mutilated and left and her little man was taken!?

What had happened while she had been sleeping!?

…But she no longer cared for answers, because it didn’t matter! This…Was just too much!

Whatever was happening, she was going to get to the bottom of it and destroy those who had put her little man at so much risk!

Even on Earth, little, premature babies still died! I have to save him before it’s too late!

With this knowledge, and feeling herself start to fade away, there was no choice but to awaken! She had to heal herself before she died! She had to find retribution! She had to get her son back! And these thoughts were enough that Sahara felt herself start to awaken again, due to the extreme agony in her heart.

It wasn’t like she would sleep forever anyway, as the hit to the neck would only put her to sleep for so long…The deed of taking the child away was already done, so it probably wouldn’t even matter to them anymore if she were to wake up…

But they never thought…That they would cross such an angry mother…An angry, most powerful person ever recorded in history, mother! Someone that was boiling mad and had killed before! Someone that knew her own son’s spiritual essence and would know exactly where to find him! Someone that…Could heal her terrible wounds and get back up from where she was!

No, to Sahara’s thoughts, whoever was in on this plot…Was going to die! They were not going to survive, even if she was using her powers selfishly for a time, it didn’t matter!

There was nothing else but to save her son and to get…Revenge!
