He didn't dare to tell her, afraid that he would disappoint her.
Alice leaned on him and asked, "In these past four years, have you ever seen such a beautiful starry sky?"
"Do you want to hear the truth?"
William asked while holding her.
"Yes."
Alice nodded her head and extended out her hand. Her fingers were apart slightly. She looked at the starlight shining through the gaps between her fingers and the dazzling "starlight" on her ring finger.
"No, you're not here. I can't see anything with any color." William's voice sounded beside her ear.
Alice listened to his words and her eyes became sore. "Then, from now on, don't ever leave me again."
"You really don't look down on me?"
William asked again.
He still cared too much about the matter of being toyed with by Mona for the past four years.
Alice shrank into his embrace, lowering her eyes to look at the ring on her hand," As long as you are willing to marry me, I don't care that much."
William lowered his head and kissed her.
Alice looked up at the stars in the sky, her face revealed a smile, "I really hope that this boat will never reach shore."
"You want to spend the rest of your life on the sea with me?"
"Yeah." Alice said seriously, "But it might not be the sea, as long as I can be with you, I can live a lifetime anywhere."
"Then the bed is good!"
William said without thinking as he turned her body around and lowered his head to once again kiss her lips.
The sea breeze blew up, making the lights on the yacht look weak but romantic.
Alice catered to his kisses as he wrapped her in a blanket. Just as he was about to press her down, Alice suddenly cried out "Ah".
Half of William's interest was instantly destroyed. "William, look!"
Alice pushed his face away with one hand and pointed to the distance with the other.
William looked in the direction she pointed. A row of shining objects appeared on the surface of the sea.
"So beautiful!" Alice stood up while being wrapped in a blanket, she walked to the railing and looked at the shining line, she was so excited that she wanted to jump up, "William, look, it's so beautiful."
"Why do you get so excited every time you see something glowing in the sea?"
William walked to her side and stopped. He took a glance and quickly retracted his gaze.
His eyes were focused and affectionate on her.
"It's so beautiful."
Alice said emotionally and suddenly said, "I have already not seen such a beautiful scenery."
"Is that so?"
William stared at her and asked.
"Yeah." Alice retracted her gaze and looked at William, "Because without you, there's nothing that I would see with any color."
They stood on the deck of the yacht.
The wind ruffled her long hair, but it did not affect her beauty.
William looked down at her, his chest felt as if it was hit by someone, both painful and satisfying. Lowering his head, he kissed her lips once again and Alice obediently snuggled into his embrace.
At midnight, the yacht docked.
On the deck, William was lying on the sofa while Alice slept in his embrace. She seemed to feel cold, as she continued to hug him tightly.
Just like this, they continued to embrace until dawn arrived.
"Achoo."
Alice's new day started with a sneeze. She stood on the deck and pinched her nose.
"Let's go."
William said as he looked back at her.
Their ten fingers were interlocked.
The weather was especially good today, as the sun dispersed the mist.
"Hungry?" Alice asked William. They had not eaten anything ever since they boarded the boat.
"Hungry!"
William said.
"There's bread on the yacht, and you just won't eat it." Alice grumbled. He would rather starve than eat the bread on the table.
William looked at her and said as if it was a matter of course, "I have regained my normal appetite, why would I eat those trash food?"
"What normal appetite?"
"Of course the food you make." William lowered his head and approached her, "The food you make is still the most suitable for my stomach."
Alice looked at him and could not help but say, "Then I remember that you even spoke ill of the dishes I cooked."
"I forced myself to think of that."
"What?"
"I haven't eaten anything you cook in four years. How can I speak ill of it?" William lowered his eyes and stared at her, "If it wasn't for the fact that you all were afraid that something was wrong with me, would I have restrained myself for so long?"
Hearing these words, Alice immediately became overjoyed and felt pain in her heart yet again. She looked at William and said, "In the future, you must not listen to my words too much."
William lowered his eyes and stared at her.
"Forget it, it's better if I'm more careful with my words in the future." Alice said as she held his hand tightly.
This way, William wouldn't think so much about one sentence of hers and do so many foolish things.
"You want to speak carefully in front of me? It could be a lie, no! " William rejected her suggestion.
Alice followed his footsteps and walked forward, "Alright, then no matter how you think about my words from now on, you must remember that my bottom line is that I absolutely cannot separate from you."
Hearing this, William reached out his hand to pinch her face. With a doting look in his black eyes, he said, "You know how to coax me more and more."
Every word of her made him feel good.
Alice also smiled and walked along with him. Not far away, Daniel was standing in front of a convoy with his people. He was walking around anxiously.
Seeing them come over, Daniel immediately ran over and looked at them worriedly, "Young Master, Miss Alice, you have finally arrived."
Daniel was so anxious that he did not sleep the entire night.
"Did you catch Mona?"
William looked at Daniel and his expression darkened instantly as he asked coldly.
"Young Master, I'm sorry, it's all because of my incompetence." Daniel said, his eyebrows were knitted together, "I have already followed young master's orders and guarded various places, but even until dawn, I did not find any trace of Mona."
"Seems like she escaped." Alice frowned and looked towards William, "I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that she escaped this time."
She didn't even know what Mona would do.
Hearing that, William snorted, "Meeting me, William, is the worst thing that happened to her!"
William pulled her to the car. Daniel looked at William's back with worry. He tugged at Alice's clothes and asked her, "Is young master alright?"
It seemed like young master already knew everything.
Alice turned around and gave him an "OK" sign and revealed a smile. Daniel was startled.
Alice accompanied William into the car, Daniel followed along as he got on the Driver. He was still confused as he turned his head to carefully look at William's face, "Then Young Master, what should we do next?"
"Let's go home first."
William said coldly.
"Yes, young master." Daniel nodded his head, then took out a warm milk bottle and cake and gave them to her, "Miss Alice, eat something."
She must have been hungry after staying on the yacht for so long.
"Thank you, foster father."
Alice released William's hand and received the milk and cake, revealing a bright smile.
William's palm was empty and he felt dissatisfied. He raised his eyes to look at Alice and frowned slightly.
Daniel still thought that William was not satisfied with how he was addressed and immediately lowered his head, saying in a humble tone, "Miss Alice, you should call me Steward Daniel, this is not appropriate."
Hearing Daniel's words, Alice was stunned. "You're my foster father after all."
"Miss Alice!"
"She can call you whatever she wants. When did it become your turn to control my woman?" William shot Daniel a look of displeasure like an arrow.
Daniel was immediately dumbstruck and looked at William in a daze. Didn't young master dislike it when Alice called him her foster father? Why did he accuse him of being too nosy now?
Alice turned to William and said, "Don't be like this, be a bit more courteous my foster father."
He was always so arrogant, after all, her foster father had taken care of him for so many years.
"Oh." William answered with a heavy tone, his black eyes swept across Daniel as he enunciated every word, "She can call you whatever she wants, since when did I hire you to care for my woman?"
William replied with a very low voice and was very polite.
Just as Alice opened the lid and drank the milk, she almost spat out the milk when she heard this.
"What's wrong?"
William looked at her with an expression indicating he was doing something wrong.
Alice laughed, "President William is really courteous."
"I'm not bad."
William naturally treated her words as praise.
Alice was speechless, but when she thought that now he could speak as he wished, she felt relieved.
It wasn't good for a person to indulge himself too much nor to restrain himself.
Alice passed the milk bottle to him, "Do you want to drink some?"
William took a sip. He looked at Daniel in displeasure, "You're getting more and more careless with your work, what the heck is this?"
It was so disgusting.
