Chapter 543

My Lord, My Billionaire Master1,584 words~8 min read

"Even if we save them this time, will it still leave traumas on them?" Alice asked in a low voice.

They were kidnapped at such a young age, trapped in a cage, facing strange and ferocious people, facing such a cruel and unfamiliar environment, Holy sounded like he was fine, she wondered how Kathy was doing.

"In England, one in five of my peers has been or was almost kidnapped." William said.

Alice looked at him in shock, "Then what about you?"

"Never." William said, "There's something wrong with my personality since I was young. I don't interact with many outsiders, so it's not like I'm at any risk of being kidnapped."

"My brother was kidnapped once." William said.

Hearing that, Alice immediately asked, "Then did the kidnappers release him after paying the ransom?"

"Yes." William nodded.

"Did he suffer? Was there a trauma on him? " Alice asked. William turned and gave her a glance, "No, at least I don't feel anything wrong."

Hearing this, Alice heaved a sigh of relief. The twins were also the descendants of Cullen Family.

"I hope the kidnappers are just asking for money and won't do anything rash." Alice muttered in a low voice, "This time, when they return, I won't seperate with them ever again."

William remained silent.

He drove to the suburbs.

Slowly, they entered the western suburbs. It was a huge suburb, Alice looked at the phone in her hand, and the kidnappers did not call.

She became anxious again. "What do they mean? We're already in the western suburb, why don't they call us?"

William looked at her cell phone and frowned, then continued to drive.

There weren't many cars on the road in the suburbs.

He drove on aimlessly.

Alice became even more anxious, she could not sit still, and held her phone, "Is there no signal here? Will we miss the call from the kidnappers?"

"Calm down."

William said.

Alice bit her lips. She felt uneasy, but there was nothing she could do.

Her phone suddenly vibrated.

Alice was shocked, she immediately picked up the call and turned on the speaker, then, William stopped the car.

Holy's calm voice sounded from her phone once again, "Very good, you can stop now."

Alice could not help but look at the empty surroundings, "How do you know where we are?"

William tapped on a screen in the car. Alice understood that they had installed a locator on the car, so they would know where they were at any time.

"Look out the window, did you see a house?"

Holy said, his voice sounded like he was reading a book, it was clear that he was reading the contents on the paper.

Alice looked out of the window and indeed, she saw a very beautiful small house built in the middle of a field.

"Do you want me to put the ransom in front of this building?"

This was a good spot.

"Of course not." Holy said, "I heard that Miss Alice is very good at painting, I want you to go to the south wall of the house to draw a 2 m tall painting for children."

"What?"

Alice thought she heard wrongly, and raised her eyes to meet William's eyes.

William sat there quietly.

Painting.

"I'll give you two hours."

After Holy finished speaking, he immediately hung up. Alice looked at William, and asked with furrowed brows, "What does this kidnapper mean, do they want the ransom? Why painting?"

William's face turned cold, and said, "It's more like a prank than a kidnap."

"Even if it's a prank, I still have to paint. Before I see the twins, I have to do whatever they demand." Alice unbuckled her seatbelt, "However, where can I get the tools to draw?"

"Since the kidnapper mentioned that, there should be some."

William said.

"Then I'll hurry over." Alice immediately opened the car door and got out. 2 hours.

It was almost impossible to accomplish such work in two hours, so she had to speed up. A painting for children, then a colorful one would be fine.

Alice ran towards the house. After running only a few steps, she started to pant, and was extremely weak.

She didn't know if it was because of the car accident, but she was completely exhausted after walking just a few steps.

She gritted her teeth and continued to run forward.

Her hands were grabbed, she turned around. With a cold expression, William walked in front of her and bent down to carry her on his back.

Alice leaned on his back and pressed both of her arms against his shoulder. She looked down at him in surprise and said hoarsely, "I can walk by myself."

"Save some energy for drawing. You only have two hours."

William said coldly.

"..." Alice, upon hearing this, did not say anymore, and laid on his back obediently, allowing him to carry her forward.

The road in the field was so long that it seemed to have no end.

William's shoes stepped on the withered yellow grass, dirtying his pants.

Ever since William returned, this was the first time they had spent so much time together.

Alice quietly stared at William's ear. There was a scar on it.

Whatever he was now, the injuries he had once suffered for her could not be erased from her memory.

"We're here."

William walked to the southern wall of the building and stopped in his tracks. Alice calmed her mind and looked over, only to see an open bag on the ground.

"The kidnappers really prepared tools."

Great, that would speed things up.

Alice took out a can of spray paint and gave it to William, who looked at her in confusion.

"Help me spray it from the left, a lot of it." Alice made a request to him.

"I can't draw."

"Just draw the simplest ones. A large piece of green grassland and then some kites, white clouds, children, and rainbow."

William took the spray can and frowned, then asked: "How high do I have to start spraying it?"

"About a meter or so."

Alice took away the spray can and skillfully sprayed it from left to right.

William stood there and watched her, her face was pale.

After Alice drew an arc, she handed the spray can over to William, "You can just coat the bottom part, and I will draw the top part. This will save us some time."

"Yes."

William took the spray can and started spraying according to what she said.

Alice picked up a large brush from the bag and started to draw rainbow colored houses.

The house stood in the middle of the field. The wind was especially strong. Alice coughed continuously as she drew, she reached out to press her hand against her chest, she was in pain.

Alice clenched her teeth, not allowing herself to stop, she continued to draw. Abruptly, she was turned around by William. William stood in front of her as he extended his hand to put on the cap on her down jacket for her.

Alice looked at him in a daze.

William took off his jacket and draped it over her, Alice hurriedly dodged, "There's no need, you may have a cold."

"I don't have pneumonia. Don't worry about that." William said solemnly, as he gave her his jacket to wear.

Like dressing a child, he took her hand and held it through the sleeve, rolling up the long sleeve.

Alice stared at him and blurted out, "Actually, you, whithout paranoid, are the same as Holy, were both cold outside but warm inside."

He gave her a coat to wear.

This was something she didn't even dare to think about before.

"You are thinking too much." William cast her a cold glance, "Continue drawing."

"Alright."

Alice nodded, she turned and continued drawing while facing the wall, she drew rainbow in the air and also drew flowers and grass.

Time ticked by.

The kidnapper's order was to draw two meters high.

However, the kite at the very top and the white clouds were things she couldn't reach.

Alice looked at William with a troubled look, "What should we do? To borrow a chair from this house?"

William looked at her speechlessly, "This is someone else's wall, you even don't get a permission of the owner and you just paint on it, let alone asking for a chair."

Alice pursed her lips, "Then what do we do?"

She lowered her eyes and looked at the time on her watch. Two hours will pass in the blink of an eye, but what if she couldn't complete it? She handed the brush to William and said, "You are tall, I will teach you how to draw."

"Even if you teach me, I can't."

Alice frowned, thinking about where she should find something to stomp on, "Squat down."

"For what?"

William frowned.

"If you squat down, I can draw while standing on your back." Alice stood there and whispered.

William fell silent.

"..." She also fell silent.

The two stood in front of the colorful wall and looked at each other. William looked at her gloomily, "Alice, do you really want to climb onto my head that much?"

"I didn't mean that." Alice said, "I am only making a suggestion, if you do not want it, then forget it."

In any case, he always emphasized that in their relationship, it had to be him who was on the above.
