William's voice was magnetic as he turned around and walked out.
After walking two steps, he couldn't help but to turn around. He saw that Alice was still maintaining that posture, and her expression was the same as before, as if she hadn't heard his voice.
William felt that he had brought back a piece of wood from Underground parking lot.
William walked downstairs to the living room and saw a few therapists sitting on the sofas, discussing enthusiastically. Daniel helped them serve up all sorts of beverages.
William looked at them coldly.
They had a lively discussion.
Anger slowly showed on William's face. After a long while, he walked over with large strides and smashed the drink on Daniel's plate onto the ground.
"Bang!"
The cup shattered.
A floor of debris.
A few of the therapists were so scared that they stood up, trembling as they looked at the furious William.
"I didn't invite you back for a chat! Give me the therapeutic regimen! How many days will it take for her to recover?"
William growled, his face gloomy, incomparably furious.
"Mr.Cullen." One of them stood out and said, "We have analyzed it, it is normal for the Miss.Clyne to have this kind of emotional fluctuation. Facing such a shocking pressure from the public, she was at a loss,. She started to flee, thus she became like this."
"I want the therapeutic regimen!"
William said.
"It means the care, companionship, and love of her family." The doctor said, "Miss.Clyne is currently refusing to communicate with the outside world. Family members are especially precious, you have to softly chat with her and do some things that will let her relax, allowing her to slowly walk out of the shadows."
He slowly walked out of the shadows.
So, it's not something that can be cured in a day or two.
Family.
Where did she get a family from? It was her family hurt her!
"Mr.Cullen, can I ask where did Miss.Clyne went?" the doctor asked.
William glanced at him gloomily and said coldly, "She went to the bedroom to sleep."
The few psychiatrists looked at each other and smiled, "It looks like the bedroom is a safe place for Miss.Clyne, so Miss.Clyne could stay in the bedroom for a while."
"A sense of security?"
William's eyes glazed over. His bedroom gave Alice a sense of security? How could this be possible? To her, wasn't that the devil's bedroom?
"Yes, in a case like this, we psychiatrists cannot help because she is wary of us too. She can only rely on her family, because in the face of someone close to her, her guard is not that strong." The doctor continued.
Closer people.
She didn't have anyone close to her anymore.
That woman was really stupid. Wouldn't it be fine if she just stayed by his side? Isn't he still abandoned by the whole world? Where's that Patrick? Did that man come to save her now? No!
"Right." the doctor said again, "The most important thing is to keep an eye on the Miss.Clyne. Since ancient times, how many people have been persecuted by public opinion, and how many of them have been unable to bear to seek relief." "You mean she'd kill herself?"
William's face instantly turned cold.
The doctor was frightened by his sinister gaze and replied weakly, "Mr.Cullen, we can't rule out that possibility, so it's best if there's someone by her side to accompany her for ever..."
Before the doctor could finish speaking, William had already turned and ran.
He used all of his strength to run forward the bedroom. Looking at the closed door, William suddenly panicked.
The first time.
He didn't even dare open the door.
After a long while, he held onto his thin lip, pushed open the door and rushed in. He stood by the side of the piano and looked in, only when he saw that the people on the bed were breathing evenly did he calm down.
It was as if he had just eaten a tranquil pill, and he was no longer flustered.
William walked to the bedside, took off his shoes and laid down on the bed. A handsome face leaned towards her face that was covered by two layers of gauze, and he could feel her breathing.
She seemed to have fallen asleep.
"Am I the devil?" William asked in a low voice, "Why does the Devil's bed give you a sense of security?"
Alice naturally did not answer and continued to sleep.
William raised his hand, caressed her soft face with his fingertips and said softly, "Look at you, how thin are you after you left me?"
"Do you wanna call me the Devil? The devil can make your life safe?"
Alice fell asleep.
William lifted the blanket and laid down, then pulled Alice into his embrace.
Alice was still asleep, and did not resist at all as she hugged his arm.
His face was turned to the side, and her forehead was very cold as she pressed her forehead against his thin lip.
William tightly hugged her slender body, and slowly closed his eyes.
Hugging her and smelling her faint fragrance, William gradually fell asleep as well.
This was the first time William had slept so easily since they had separated.
On the twenty-third day of their separation, Alice returned to his side.
The next morning, the sunlight shone in from outside the window and while Alice was still asleep, William got up to take a shower.
The warm water flowed past his body. William shook the water on his short hair, his eyes were clear and sharp, and there were a few less blood traces in her eyes.
It had been a long time since he had slept so peacefully.
He never thought that Alice had the ability to help him sleep.
William smiled sinisterly and came out of the shower room. His long arm grabbed a bathrobe and put it on, then he pushed the door and walked out.
Once he walked out of the bathroom, William saw that Alice was standing in front of a large window. She was wearing a long nightgown with barefoot.
William walked towards her and embraced her from her back, placing his chin on her shoulder.
He breathed hard, inhaling her scent.
He liked the smell of her.
William closed his eyes in satisfaction and continued to smell her scent. His voice was magnetic, "Why are you awake so early?"
The voice was so gentle that it did not sound like it came from his thin lip.
No response, William slowly opened his eyes and saw Alice in his embrace. She was just standing there, her face empty. Her eyes staring out of the window without focus, without a single clue as to what she was looking at.
After a night, she was still the same.
William stared at the side of her face in disappointment and let go of his hands. "Come, let's go wash up and eat breakfast."
Alice stood there and did not move, she continued to stare outside, as though she could not hear anything.
William was a impatient person. He frowned, "Alice! How could you be knocked down so easily? Just some public opinion, what can they do to you? With me here, who still dares to say half a word about you!"
Alice stood there motionlessly, neither happy nor angry.
"Can you say something to me? Anything! " William said fiercely.
Alice maintained that standing posture, and looked out of the window.
"You ..."
William was about to say something else, but suddenly remembered what the therapist had said. He wanted to speak in a gentle and soft voice, make her feel care.
"Shit! From today onwards, you are my ancestor!"
William stared at her almost lifeless face and muttered a curse. He patiently took her hand and forced his voice to soften, "Come, Alice, I'll help you wash your teeth and face."
His voice was so soft that he felt disgusted with himself.
Alice was pulled towards the bathroom, but she did not struggle and allowed him to pull her.
William brought her to the bathroom and squeezed the toothpaste. He poured the toothbrush into a cup of water and acted like he was facing a retarded child. Alice stood there expressionlessly, ignoring him. However, she reached out and took the cup and toothbrush in his hands, then began to brush her teeth. "You even know how to take care of yourself. You're not that stupid." William curled his lips, reached out to rub her head, and watched her brushing her teeth.
She could hear him.
She was just refusing to communicate.
"Don't worry, I will catch the people who harmed you, making them want to die!" William promised her coldly.
Hearing that, Alice's hand trembled, and the toothbrush dropped into the pond.
"I'll buy you a new one." William picked up the toothbrush and threw it into the dustbin at the side. His long hands played around with her black hair, "Come, let's go down to eat."
Alice did not speak. After silently washing up, she was pulled away by William.
She was pulled all the way to the kitchen. There were a lot of people in the huge kitchen, while maids was busy picking vegetables and putting the plates on the table.
There were at least 30 people in a kitchen at the moment.
"What kind of food do you want to eat?"
William led Alice in.
Alice immediately retracted her hand, and retreated backwards. Her body unconsciously retracted, bent like a shrimp, without any sense of beauty. William turned his head, his black eyes staring straight at her, "What's wrong?"
Alice did not speak, nor did she enter. She just stood there.
"What's wrong? Speak." William asked patiently.
Alice didn't say a word, and she was like a piece of wood.
William took two steps forward and fiercely stomped his foot on the ground, forcefully suppressing the anger in his body.
Daniel walked over from the side. Seeing the situation, he warned William softly, "Young Master, Miss.Clyne might not be so suitable to have many people around."
Previously, Miss. Clyne was surrounded by thousands of people in the shopping mall. That fear and panic was probably not so easily dispelled.
Daniel's words reminded William. William looked at Alice with a slightly deeper glint in his eyes.
"Young Master, why don't you hand over Miss.Clyne to me?"
Daniel said.
He knew that young master was impatient person. Someone who wanted his young master to break a mental barrier and refuse to communicate with the outside world would make his young master pain.
William glared at him coldly. "Do I need you?"
Daniel remained silent.
"Reduce the number of people in the Imperial Castle by two-thirds. There is no need to leave so many people in the way." William ordered coldly.
"Yes, young master."
Daniel nodded.
William walked forward, looked at Alice who was like a puppet, extended his hand to pull her close to him, and lifted her chin.
Alice stared at her thin lip unfocused.
