"I don't wanna go shopping I wanna go home and get showered!" Malik argued.

"Boy, if madi's going to be staying with us for a few nights she's going to need her own things."

"No she doesn't, she can go home and get pyjamas"

"But it's easier to just get her her own toiletries and things for her to keep here so she can stay as often as she likes and be able to use her own things." Bruce told him. "I don't want to hear another peep out of you now Malik, it's been a great day, don't ruin it with your negativity, especially whilst we have a guest."

The boy slouched down in his seat, he hated feeling all gross and sweaty, he was sure his hair looked a mess too.

Madi sat silently in the back seat, she was starting to feel that Malik really didn't want her there, so decided it was best not to interfere.

Bruce parked the car up and stepped out, he walked around to the other side of the car and opened the door for madi. He then noticed that the boy was still sat in his seat with his arms folded. "Let him be like that Bruce, he just wants attention." The man thought to himself.

He opened Maliks door, "waiting for me to open your door, your highness? Shall I take your seatbelt off as well?"

"No, I'm staying here." Malik replied, turning away from him.

"Malik, please don't embarrass yourself by acting up in front of madi." Bruce leaned on the car door, waiting for him to get out.

"I'm not acting up! I want to have a nap, I'm too tired to go shopping."

"Alright alright, stay here then, we won't be long." The man closed the car door and left him to nap in peace.

The boy pulled his coat over his legs and put the seat back a little, before taking his seatbelt off and turning over to go to sleep.

Malik jumped and woke up hearing the car door shut.

"Oh sorry malik, I forgot you were sleeping, good sleep?" Bruce asked, starting the car

"Yeah" the boy rubbed his eyes before pulling his phone out of his pocket to check the time. 8:29pm, he'd been asleep for nearly 3 hours.

"We got you a drink" Madi said, passing him the bottle of water.

"Thanks" Malik did sort of need to use the bathroom, but was extremely thirsty after sleeping, so was very grateful. He chugged the whole bottle in a few seconds.

"Thirsty, Malik?" Bruce asked.

"i was actually, are we going home now?"

"Yep, and you can get a shower so you're not all sweaty."

"I feel gross," the boy groaned, "and I'm covered in mud."

"I thought boys liked being all muddy and gross?" Madi laughed.

"Not Malik, he's more like a girl." Bruce chuckled.

"I'm not a girl!" Malik hit his shoulder.

"Well you certainly hit like one."  Bruce teased.

"And whine like one..." madi added quietly.

Malik turned around, "don't you start."

"Or what?"

"Or i'll...tell Bruce what really happened to his garden gnome when we went round for dinner that time." Malik smirked.

"HOW DO YOU REMEMBER THAT?!"

"What do you mean what really happened to Jerald?!, I thought the wind knocked him over?" Bruce questioned.

Malik looked at madi, who was shaking her head.

"Nothing, I was just joking." The boy replied.

Madi sighed in relief.

"Are we nearly home?" Malik asked.

"We only just got onto the motorway!" Bruce replied, "why?"

"Nothing." He really didn't want to have to tell Bruce that he needed to use the toilet whilst madi was there, so he did his best to sit quietly and not look suspicious.

However his best, was still terrible.

"Jesus Christ Malik, keep still would you? You're distracting me." Bruce told him.

"I am still."

"No you're not, you've been fidgeting for the whole 20 minutes we've been in the car." Madi said.

"We've only been driving for 20 minutes?" Malik groaned.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Bruce asked.

"No, I need to go toilet." He muttered quietly.

"Don't mumble, I can't hear a word your saying." Bruce replied, lowering the radio down.

"Doesn't matter." Malik said.

"He said he needs to use the toilet." Madi said loudly.

Malik looked at her and shook his head.

"You should've said when we were at the shopping centre." Bruce said.

"I was asleep!" He replied.

"Okay okay, can you wait till we're home?"

"Yes.."

"Alright then."

Bruce continued driving until they came to a stop.

"Why've we sto- oh" Malik looked up from his phone to see the road filled with traffic.

Bruce turned the volume up on the radio. "There's been an accident."

"Why cant they just drive around it?" Malik asked.

"Because it could be bad, people could be hurt." Bruce replied.

"So the ambulance can just take them and get them out of the way and then we can all go home. Simple"

"It is not simple! The paramedics will be trying to make sure everyone involved is ok." Bruce told him.

"well how long are we going to be stuck here for?" Malik asked, bouncing his leg a little.

"I'm not sure, I know you think I know everything Malik but I do not." Bruce replied.

"You act like you do." The boy rolled his eyes.

Bruce smiled "I know nearly everything."

An hour had passed and the traffic had barely moved. At this point, Malik was starting to panic.

"Can I please just go in the bottle?"

"NO!" Bruce and Madi both yelled.

"This is torture! What do you expect me to do?!" Malik groaned leaning forward in his seat with his legs crossed.

"Either hold it or don't hold it and wet yourself."

"I can't wait till we get home and I'm not gonna sit here and wet myself." Malik argued.

"Well I will not allow you to do something illegal." Bruce argued back.

"WHAT'S ILLEGAL ABOUT PISSING INTO A BOTTLE OR BEHIND A TREE?"

"Having your private parts exposed to the world! No one wants or needs to see what you have, or haven't, got down there." Bruce chuckled.

Malik took his seatbelt off to relieve some of the pressure. "That's not funny"

"It was a little bit" Madi said, still giggling.

"Shut it you." Malik told her.

"Hey! Be nice, and seatbelt on mister." Bruce leaned over and buckled him in.

"I really really really need to wee" The boy whispered.

"I know, just try to wait a little longer, we're starting to move now."

Malik leaned back into his seat and squeezed his crotch tightly with both hands, he didn't care what he looked like anymore, he'd do anything to prevent himself from having an accident in front of Madi. When they finally got off the motorway, the bumps in the road made it 10x harder for him to stay dry.

"We're almost home, boy" The man said, feeling sorry for him.

"My stomach hurts" he complained.

"I'm not surprised, you drank a lot of water and then held your urine for over two hours. That's a lot for your little bladder."

Malik turned around and looked to the back seat, Madi had fallen asleep.

"Bruce, I have to go right now." He whispered.

"I know you do, just wait a little bit longer, I promise I'll get you home."

"I can't wait" The boy whined.

A short but loud hiss broke through the silence of the car. Malik held himself tighter.

"Oh boy, we're so close just try and wait for me." The man said, placing his hand on the boys knee in attempt to comfort him.

They pulled into the driveway and Bruce immediately got out the car and unlocked the front door.

The boy sat frozen in the front seat, looking down at his shorts as a wet patch began to form on the front of them. He slowly got out the car and stood awkwardly as his bladder continued to empty itself, hissing loudly before splattering onto the concrete.

"Hey, hey it's alright. You tried." The man rubbed his back.

Malik groaned in pain, still weeing forcefully through his shorts.

"I won't wake Madi up until you're all cleaned up, she doesn't have to know about this." Bruce put his hand on the boys back and walked him into the house and up to the bathroom.

"Hand me those clothes and get in the shower boy."

Malik didn't move, waiting for the man to leave so he could get undressed.

"Come on Malik, I don't have all day."

"I'm waiting for you to go out!"

Bruce laughed, "boy, I used to change your nappies."

"Yeah but that's when I was little...I'm not little anymore." Malik rolled his eyes, starting to undress.

"You're little to me." Bruce said, taking his shirt and wet shorts.

"No I'm not." Malik handed him his underwear. "Please don't tell madi what happened."

"Oh, there goes my plans for the evening. Why on earth would I tell her that you had an accident literally a few steps away from the toilet?" Bruce raised an eyebrow.

"It wasn't a few steps! And I don't know, just don't."

"Why would I talk to Madi about you? Not everything is about you little one." Bruce teased.

"Don't call me that." Malik frowned. "And I'm not saying everything's about me- I just don't want her to find out."

"I think someone's got a little crush..."  Bruce grinned.

"I have not! Get out and let me shower!" Malik pushed him out the door.

"I was letting shower! You were the one who was too busy talking about your crush!" Bruce laughed.

Malik shut the door and got into the shower, ignoring what the man was shouting behind the door. He knew that it was true. He still did like madi, and a lot. He poured body wash all over his body before scrubbing himself clean and rinsing the suds off of him.

The boy stepped out of the shower and shivered, quickly realizing he'd forgot to get a towel, well, Bruce had forgot to get him a towel, seen as he was the one who rushed him into the bathroom.

He opened the door slightly and looked around, he couldn't hear or see any movement so figured both Madi and Bruce were downstairs. He took the opportunity and quickly escaped to his room where he dried and dressed himself.

'Why's it so quiet?'  Malik thought to himself as he went downstairs. Only to find out the answer to his question when he found Bruce fast asleep on the couch.

'Madi must still be in the car...'  The boy took Bruce's keys off of the counter and went outside, unlocking the car. Madi was still in there and she was still asleep. Malik didn't want to wake her so decided he would have to carry her inside. He leaned over and undid her seatbelt before sliding one arm under her legs and picking her up. He shut the car door with his foot and locked it. As he carried her inside he noticed now small and light she was, she was easy to carry that was for sure. He took her upstairs and set her down in his bed, putting the blanket over her and giving her a small kiss on the head. "Goodnight, Madi." He whispered.
