The sorceress decided to leave the place, but just when she was going down the hills, the RaÄn appeared. Making an abrupt and accelerated entry.
âMy friend!â he said âIâm tremendously sorry. I was doing something really important. This is going to take a while longer, but I would like to see you now! Do you think you can come later?â
âAre you crazy?â responded the woman. âI canât go to my house and come back here at night. My mother is going to kill me! It was already a problem getting here. I thought you wanted us to cook like you told me yesterday.â
âOf course I want to!â responded the dragon. âItâs just that, today is a very busy day in the kingdom.â
âI understandâ said the sorceress, with her looking downwards. âDonât worry, we can meet up tomorrow.â
âWhat do you have in your hand?â asked the dragon.
âThe golden fish I brought you. I thought we could heat them, and perhaps eat them together.â the woman replied.
The dragon felt nostalgic in his heart. Then, an idea occurred to him.
âHow about staying here?â he asked the woman. âI think I can fasten this up a little. I just have to do something quickly, and I promise you I´ll come back. You wonât have to wait too long. And when I come back, we´ll eat and train as you had in mind!â
âI donât know, Argôn.â she replied âIt´s getting late.â
âI also want to train with you!â he shouted. âIâve been waiting for you all these days. Besides, you´re already here! You just have to wait for me a short moment and I assure you that, before the fireflies of the springs begin to shine in the lakes, I´ll be here!â
âWell, thereâs not much time left for thatâ said the woman, âI guess I can wait for you. Just please, donât take too long. I have no idea what I will tell my mother when I return.â
âDonât worry, we will solve it laterâ he said. âI wonât take long.â
The young dragon left the place quickly and ascended over the sky as fast as he could; heading to the Hanging Gardens. When arrived, the impetuous light had fallen, and the night was cover already covering the plains of the region.
He realized that the entire Army of Splendor was aligned. Four hundred dragons, already positioned in their battle posts. He went to the Chamber of Fire, where the Alpha group and Army Leader were positioned.
âArgônæth, where the hell were you?!â Bongo exclaimed. âThere is not much time left!â
âExcuse me, father, I was fixing a small matter, but everything is ready, we can go now!â the young dragon stated. âThe faster, the better; the night has already fallen.â
âWe must wait for the Golden King to arrive, and grant the departure instructions.â
âWhat are you talking about? The king is not here?â
âNot yet, but he is about to arrive. We have to wait.â Bongo said.
Although, time passed and the Golden King did not appear. Argôn was eager to leave the place, he was getting desperate; he wanted to get out of the battle as quickly as possible. He was restless, and became extremely anxious.
He could not contain it anymore, because for him, these battles were unnecessary. Argôn flew from one side of the sacred waterfall to the other, observing the Nénufar Region in the distance.
âFather, the King is taking too much timeâ said Argôn. âLetâs go now. I can see LileÃn´s waters rising in size. At any moment, the Mother will rise too. Itâs too late. You are the leader of this army; letâs all go out of this problem!â
âI already told you, Argôn. We must wait for the King.â
âWhy should we wait for him?â
âBecause those are the rules!â responded Bongo.
âRules that are hurting us? We are more prepared than ever! What are we waiting for? This is an unnecessary dilemma. The moons are at their peak. The region is covered with monsters. We are risking the security of the region for a rule. Why can´t you see that?â
âYouâre the one who doesnât want to seeâ said Bongo. âThe Golden King assured me he would be here before the great battle, and so it will be. We have the advantage and a clear dominance, what is your despair? You must learn to be patient. Everything happens at the right moment, at the right time; neither before nor after. We must be precise.â
âFather, listenââ
âWeâll wait for the Golden King, like it or not. And when he arrives, we´ll start the departure just as we´ve practiced it. Thatâs an order!â Bongo shouted to the whole Chamber of Fire.
âYes, sir!â the members shouted.
The young RaÄn was desperate. He didnât want to wait any longer, nor did he want to depend on Wizâs arrival. He had made a promise to his friend, and he had to keep it. He knew that the rest of the chambers were not going to descend, and the attack would not begin until his father gives the order. He didnât want to leave the sorceress waiting once again. He was forced to make a decision.
