melancholia - 8:09 PM

I cannot face life

for it perpetually strangles me

until I turn a horrid shade of blue

sending me into a deep melancholia

that I never can shake off

swiftly enough.

oh, the time I have lost!

time I have been robbed of

by the one enemy I will

never fight face to face

for it dwells in my body

just like a parasite

feeding off of my despair

until that dreadful day where

there will be

nothing left.
