Chapter 8 of 93

We Met Near the Sea

Poems About Him113 words~1 min read

Our story

Began at the the coast

With crashing waves of foam

With crying seagulls calling above

And the smell of the mackerel winds

For some reason you caught my eye

Your smile was pearly white

A precious find at the beach

Something rare

Your eyes were a deep, umber ocean

And calmed those who stared upon it

And they shined like the beaming sun

Unlike most

Your hair was curly and wild

That matched the motion of the sea

And it looked imperfectly perfect

And was hard not to notice

From there

We met near the sea

Or at least I suppose

I wish that'd happened

But that's not how it goes.
