Chapter October 23rd, 1969

We’re having trouble with the insurance company (again). They’ve openedan investigation, and are claiming that a lot of the evidence points towards anact of suicide on my father’s part. If they can gather enough proof to showthis to be the truth, we will lose the money (again).

My mother has been clever enough to realize this, and has not admittedany evidence that may be damning towards our case.

So, unless they can prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that it was an actof self murder, we may just be lucky (this time).
