I am strangely calm. I think I have accepted the fate that awaits me.

Although my people at Global have been looking at the indispensable andessential Interphase Chip, which we obtained from Westronik some time ago, theyare still having trouble deciphering its intricate workings.

It is obvious that the Consciousness Projector will never be completedwithin a month.

Hell, even my best technicians don’t know the true path I’ve beenattempting to guide them down. They, like Steve before them, still think it’sjust a more sophisticated machine for mapping the brain.

It’s not about me giving up the fight – it’s about being realistic in theface of overwhelming proof and an undefeatable adversary.

Still, there is a small spark that hopes that my infallible predictionsof the future will fail – at least, just this once!!!
