It's Monday morning. Life has struck without a warning.
Elisabeth Simpson. The ugliest of them all. She stands in front of a mirror. Absorbing all her beauty. Getting ready for a day. A day that she knows. A day that will change her life.
And downstairs she goes. Where she meets her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson. And they are taken back. Her beauty is consuming. They can't believe it.
"Is this you?" He father asks. Her mother asks. They can't take it in. After seeing all the ugly sides of her. And she answers them. "No. This is not me! Maybe I don't even know you!"
She is bitter. She has all rights to be bitter. Her parents never loved her. Even at the darkest moments of her life. But there is a darker truth she does not see.
Beauty is arrogance.
She is arrogant. Though she is yet to know it. She is arrogant. By heart and soul. And arrogance is ugly. So she is still ugly. And there is more to this beauty. More than she ever thought of.
For beauty without wisdom is like a fire burning on a dry grassland.
