Annie's pov:

Today was the day that Sarah and I were going to meet the basketball team, actualy I was going to meet them because Sarah already knew them, she was at all the parties they were at, and i don't even need to talk about her and KK Arnold right?

We were on the car, our shared playlist playing in the background while i freaked out "Sarah you don't understand im going to die, they're going to hate me and think i'm a idiot" I said with my hands over my face pretending to cry "don't worry An they will love you, you are the sweetest girl i know there is no way anyone can hate you I swear" Sarah said while i was calming down, she always knew how to make me relax "I hope so" I said and got out of car.

We were about to open the gym door and Sarah stopped me "Annie breath, you're going to be great don't worry okay? I love you" she said looking in my eyes "thanks Sah, I love you too".

"Girls this is Sarah and Annie, they will be our new photographers for the rest of the year so treat them as part of the team" Coach Geno said and gave us space to us to introduce ourselfs, of course I was so nervous and shaking so Sarah started "hi girls, so you might know who i am" she let out a shy laugh "but if you dont, my name is sarah and im going to work with you this year" she ended with a polite and warm smile and looked at me. I had frozen, i couldn't say anything i was so embaresed if i could i would've run of that gym to my safe room, then i heard a raspy but sweet voice "And you are...?" I looked at the direction of the voice and saw a beautiful blonde hair and big blue eyes looking at me "I...i'am Annie" i said shyly "I am Annie and im going to work with the team too, i hope we have can be friends" I hope we can be friends? What do you have in mind Annie you made fool of yourself in front of the most beautiful girl ever.

"So...You and Paige hum?" Sarah said teasing "Paige?" I said with a confused face "Oh c'mon Annie dont tell me that you dont know the UCONN star Paige Bueckers, you dont live under a rock" Yes i knew her, and I always tough she was stunning, but she would never know who I was and if I developed a "crush" on her i would be frustrated so i just pretended i didn't care about her "Oh yeah Paige...She probably thinks im a idiot now" i said while i was fixing my camera "Stop Annie, she was totaly checking you out" "What? She definitely wasn't"

"Yes she was silly, but you were too focused on your axiety to see that" Sometimes when I am really anxious i can't notice what is happening in front of me and it affects me so much, on the first day of college I almost got hit by a bus because i was really anxious and couldn't focus on anything other than my anxiety, so maybe...just maybe Paige was checking me out and i didnt saw it.

The girls finished the practice and me and Sarah took a few pictures, while we were organizing our equipment four girls came to talk to us, I later found out they were nika, KK, Azzi and Paige. KK went straigh to Sarah and they were all clingy with each other, im so happy that Sarah is finally assuming they like eachother, but then i saw paige talking with them and Sarah was looking at me I was confused but decided to ignore because Nika and Azzi started to talk with me "Hey Annie can i see the photos you took?" Nika said with a subtle accent I knew she was from croatia because i already followed her on social midia "Sure" I said shyly and handed her the camera "wow those are sick, you need to see it Paige she took a lot of you" Nika said and my face turned RED Sarah,KK and Paige came next to me and Sarah was holding back her laugh, Nika handed her the camera  and she looked at the photos, i almost trowup i couldnt belive it, I took a lot of paige because i couldnt stop myself she was so smooth with the ball on court, and the way she celebrated  when she made a basket was so...beautiful? "Yeah that's really cool" she said looking at me and keeping eye contact i couldn't look on her face, KK probably understood what was happening so she said "so...We are going to a party tonight, you two should go too"

"Yes we are going" Sarah said and I gave her a look "we?"  "Paige is driving us, she can give you two a ride" Azzi said "YEAAH party tonight" Sarah said doing a little dance and everyone gave her a look and laughed, she was so embarassing but at the same time so funny.
