Paige's pov:

The flight to new york wasn't very long, and having Annie by my side made it easier. I was going to pass Christmas with Annie's family and at the same time I was happy and excited I also was so fucking nervous, I was going to be introduced as her girlfriend I needed to make a good impression especially to her mother, but one good thing about me is that im good with parents so... "Are you okay there?" Annie asked placing her hand on my knee which was moving up and down, we were in the uber going to her house "Yeah, I am" a noticeable nervous tone in my voice "P you can tell me, what's going on?" Annie looked at me with her bright eyes, I couldn't lie to her, I didn't want to "Im nervous, to meet your family, you know?" Annie looked at me and smiled softly "Oh love it's okay, don't worry it will just be my mom and my aunt today, I swear my mom already loves you" The way Annie talked to me made me relax and feel less nervous "Thanks baby" I kissed her cheek "Always". "But have you ever been in New York?" Annie asked me starting a conversation "Yeah, but not freely" I've only been in New York for games or work, I've never been on a trip "I'll show you my favorite places here, you'll love them" Annie started to tell me about her chilhood and I just fell more in love with her, this week would be one of the best weeks ever, and I would be with my person.

We arrived at Annie's house, the cold air off New York hitting us, a typical New York house, with a small exterior that deceives those who see from outside, the Uber stopped the car and helped us with our bags, we thanked the man and now was time to enter. Annie was emotional, she hadn't seen her mother in a long time

"Here we are" Annie said with her eyes shining, I couldn't help but stare at her with passion "Come on" we opened the small gate, and went up the small stairs to the front door, I was nervous and couldn't hide it, then Annie took my hand and looked at me "Don't worry P, you'll charm them like you did with me" She kissed me softly and I smiled feeling a little more relif "Thanks baby" Annie rang the doorbell and a voice from inside came "One minute" a woman appeared at the door, her hair was brown and wavy like Annie's, she had big brown eyes, and wore glasses "ANNIE" Her eyes widened when she saw Annie, her arms wrapping around her immediately pulling her into a hug "Mom" Annie said hugging her mother I could feel how connected they are "Oh, my Annie, how I missed you" The woman said still hugging her "I missed you too mom" they stayed there hugging each other a little and I gave them the time they needed, then Annie came back and held my hand "Mom this is Paige, my girlfriend" She smiled when she said the last word and I looked at her smiling too, the woman in front of us pulled me into a hug "The famous Paige, I finally meet you" We stepped back, a smile on our faces "That's me, it's really nice to meet you Mrs.Roberts" I said and Annie held my hand again "Oh come on, you can call me Emily. Now please come in before you get a flu, god it's so cold today" Annie and I entered the house, a cozy interior with an entrance room with comfortable sofas, a large living room and a kitchen, a door that leads to a small balcony with a backyard, and large stairs that probably lead to the bedrooms, the house was very big but cozy and warm. Another woman appeared on the stairs, running up the steps to Annie, she didn't look very old "NO WAY, MY GIRL ANNIE IS BACK" The woman screamed and jumped at Annie "Ellie" Annie said and hugged her "You look beautiful, your hair has grown" Ellie said to Annie running her hands through her hair "Thanks auntie, I missed you" Annie replied "I missed you more" Annie looked at me and hugged me sideways "This is Paige, Paige this is my aunt Ellie" Ellie greeted me with a hug "Damn Annie, you pulled a basketball star, who could imagined" Ellie teased Annie and a smirked appered in my face, Annie blushed "yeah..." "Who asked who?" Ellie asked "Me" I said still feeling a little nervous "Of course, Annie is too shy" "Are you sure about that?" I said to Ellie jokingly and she looked at Annie with a raised eyebrow "Well...It looks like Annie isn't a baby anymore. Did you heard it Emi?" Ellie shouted the last part and Emily appeared from the stairs "Oh leave them alone sis" Emily hugged Annie to the side and gave her a gentle kiss in her forehead "Well girls, I think you two are tired of the flight right? So Annie's old room is set up for you both upstairs if you want to get some rest" Emily said "Thanks Mom, we will" "Thank you" I said to her and she helped us with our bags "I've got my eye on you Paigey" Ellie shouted to me when were halfway up the stairs, I turned my head laughing "Don't worry" I like Ellie, we'll be good friends.

Annie's pov:

"Welcome to my old room, love" I said as Paige and I entered in my old room, the room had pink walls with lots of posters, like Taylor Swift, Hanna Montana, One Direction, Fifth Harmony, High School Musical and all the things I loved when I was younger actually I still love most of them, a bookshelf, my double bed, and everything was in a light shade of pink, it also had a bathroom "wow it's very you" Paige said "thank you" I giggled, Paige lay down on the bed with her arms and legs spread like a star "Finally a bed" I looked at her, she had her eyes closed and I jumped on the bed on top of her laying my head on her chest, her hands found their way to my back and started to caress "I told you my mom would like you" I said to Paige "Yeah,she's really cool, she seems like a great mom to you" Paige replied "She's the best mom". We lay there for a while in a comfortable silence then I said "You know...Im really glad you're here with me" Paige lifted her head to look at me "Me too" She said and kissed my lips softly "I love you" Paige looked deep into my eyes "I love you too Paige".

We unpacked our bags and Paige went to take shower, I decided to go downstairs to see what my family was doing "Hey mommy" I said to mom sitting on the kitchen counter "Hi sweetheart, did you and P rest well?" My mom replied while she mixed something in the bowl "Yes, she's in the shower now" When I said that I looked the kitchen door and Paige was there in confy clothes looking at me and my mom "Im not anymore" She said approaching us "Hey P, how are you feeling? Did you rest well?" My mom asked Paige "Yes ma'am, like an angel" Paige said playfully and I rolled my eyes at her, she came closer to me at the counter where I was sitting and pecked my lips "Im so happy that Annie invited you, I finally met my daughter's girlfriend, she talks about you everyday with me, I was curious to meet the 'most beautiful girl in college' that Annie always say" My mom said and my face turned red, Paige rested her chin on my shoulder smirking "MOM" I said "Umm 'most beautiful girl in the college' Im glad to hear that" Paige looked at me with those big blue eyes and a teasing face, my mom laughed "By the way, yesterday I found something in those old boxes" My mom went to the living room and came back with a box "Your chlihood albums" when my mom said that my eyes widened, I couldn't let Paige see my teeange photos she would fall out of love for me "MOM NO" I said as my mom was already taking the albums out of the box and Paige was next to her opening them "Why not baby, I want to see it" Paige said looking at me with a teasing smirk "See Annie? Let your girlfriend see it" "Aww you were so cute" Paige showed me a picture of me when I was a baby "Just wait until you see her teenage photos" Ellie's voice suddenly appeared in the room "NO, NO, NO" I ran and grabbed the 'Teen Annie' album and tried to run with it, but Paige holded me by the waist and pulled me back, I tried to lift it up but how can I compete with a 6'0ft woman? Paige took it from me and I almost cried "Baby I won't laugh" She held my hand guiding me back to the counter "You won't think im pretty anymore" I looked at my hands "Never. You're the most beautiful, pretty, gorgeous, hot, stunning girl in the world" She kissed me in a slow kiss, I reciprocated and discreetly deepened  "Alright, Alright that's enough girls" Ellie said playing with us "Now is time to show Paige your dark pass, open it Paige" Ellie said and I groaned, Paige laughed and kissed my cheek.

"No way, is that you and Sue Bird?" Paige asked when she saw a picture of me and Sue Bird when I was baby "Yes, my mom worked a lot with her teams" I said with my head resting on her shoulder, we were  on the couch "Are you friends with her?" Paige asked to my mom, who was sitting on the other couch "I wouldn't say friends, we are more like colleagues" "That's so cool" Paige said "You say it like you've never met her" I replied playfully "But I don't have a picture with her from when I was a baby" Paige said with a 'duh' at the end, we all laughed and continued looking at the photos.

After we saw the photos, Paige and I decided to go on a walk around the neighborhood, the cold air rushing past us, it wasn't snowing yet but it was cold "Look at me, love" I said to Paige as I filmed her making fun in the street "Hi guys" Paige took the phone from my hand and started filming me "Look how pretty my girl is" She spun me around holding my hand "Thanks baby" I replied and took the phone back, now filming us two, Paige hugged me as we walked "you're so pretty my love" I said "so are you" Paige replied and kissed my whole face, I was laughing "Paige stop" I said laughing and not wanting her to stop "Nop" she kept kissing me and I paused the video and looked at her, the street was empty and silence I could feel her breathing, I leaned into her and we kissed in a slow rhythm, my arms around Paige's neck and her hand on my waist, I pulled away gently but Paige kept kissing my lips until we separated "I love being with you" Paige said to me, I love Paige so much, she's my everything, my best friend, my family, my lover, °my girlfriend  "I love being with you too" I kissed her again "I love you" I whispered and Paige smirked "I love you".

The next day came, and I woke up in my old room with Paige sleeping in my arms, I looked at her and smiled, she groaned and pulled me closer "Good morning my love" I said to Paige "Morning" she replied still asleep "Are you ready to wake up? I was thinking maybe we could go shopping for Christmas" I said playing with her hair, Paige's hand started to rub the side of my hips slightly lifting my pajama shorts "Uh-hum, can we just stay here 5 more minutes?" Paige asked "Sure" I lay  with her while she slept some more and I checked my phone. After Paige woke up, we changed our clothes and brushed our teeths to go get breakfast at a cute small cafe "Baby what do you think of that skirt?" I said as I looked myself in the mirror in my room, Paige came closer to me and hugged me from behind holding my waist, giving me kisses on my neck,I got goosebumps from her touch "Beautiful baby, you look beautiful" Paige kissed my neck and I giggled turning to face her "Thanks" I softly kissed her lips holding her face "But you look better with nothing on" Paige said leaving my arms to the bedroom door "Paige!" I said with my cheeks red and embarrassed, Paige winked at me and left my room down the stairs.

I opened the door to Paige making a funny motion with my hands pointing for her to get in "What are you doing?" Paige asked "You're my passenger princess today" Paige raised an eyebrow "Not a chance" I looked at her confused "Come on baby, I know New York like my hand, you'll get lost if you drive" I said trying to push her to the car "I'll not, give me the keys" "Come on babe, get in the car, it's freezing" I said holding my body "Give me the keys then" I rolled my eyes and tried to argue with her "Paige you're going to get lost, and besides, you are always driving me" I said "I know, and I like doing this, now give me the car keys, baby" Paige held my waist making eye contact with me, I gave up "Ugh fine, but you'll be my passenger princess someday" I said handing her the keys "Sure, sure" I rolled my eyes as I got into the car "I swear Paige if you get lost..." Paige kissed de side of my mouth and put on her belt "Don't worry pretty, I got it".

After passing the same street three times, twice in front of the same store, and getting lost with the GPS, Paige finally found the cafe, a small and cozy cafe perfect for cold days, we ate there while we talked "So, we are going to do shopping today?" Paige asked me "If you're okay with it, I'd like to go. I have to buy gifts for Christmas , and I also want you to see the city" I said taking a bite of my waffle "Of course I want, I want to buy gifts to your mom and Ellie too" I smiled at Paige, the way she got along with my family and they loved her too was very important to me, my family is my everything and Paige is part of it now.

We arrived at my house and after lunch we went shopping,we went to stores to look for gifts, Paige went to some sports stores buying clothes, shoes for herself, I went to my favorites clothes store trying a few dresses and tops for the end of the year "I like this one" I said inside of the changer, Paige was sitting outside helping me choose the clothes because she had aready chosen hers "Let me see" She said and I left the changing room to show her a mini black dress with longs sleevs and an open shoulder-to-shoulder neckline, Paige looked at me for a few seconds as if she was hypnotized "Fuck Annie" She stood up and grabbed my waist pulling me back to the changing room closing the curtain "P what are you doing?" I said shyly not really wanting Paige to stop kissing my neck but worried at where this could go "Uh-hum" Paige said not really minding just kissing me, she moved her mouth to mine and placed me against the wall "Pa-" I tried to say "Paige baby" She looked at me a different look in her eyes "I need to take this off to pay" Paige moved her hand to my butt, to the hem of the dress "Let me help you then" My face was completely red now, I was freaking out inside and if we weren't in a public space I would never stop her, but I also know she wouldn't get very fat now of course, she has common sense, she just gets really horny sometimes "Baby, please? After we finish this we can have all the time to us in my room, okay?" I asked politely playing with her shirt smiling softly "Yeah...okay" Paige said burning me with her gaze and smirking as she left the changing room leaving me alone to change.

Paige's pov:

It was already afternoon and Annie and I  took a nap because we were tired after we came back from a walk in the central park with her family, I decided to go down to drink some water, I got out of Annie's bed being careful not to wake her up "I'll be right back baby" I kissed her forehead and she went back to sleep hugging her teddy bear. When I got to the kitchen Emily was there reading a book sitting at the breakfast table then she saw me "Oh hey P, you're awake" She closed the book "Hi, I just came to drink some water" I said as I took the glass "got it, is Annie sleeping?" "Yes" I replied drinking the water "She is a sleepyhead" I laughed agreeing with her mother, Annie sleept a lot, "You know... I wanted to thank you for having me in your home, I really appreciate it" I said sitting at the table with Emily "Oh Paige, you're always welcome here, Annie and we love you, I know how much you make her happy she has never been happier" I looked at Emily with a goofy smile on my face "She makes me so happy too, I would do anything for her, you can be sure that im treating your daughter well and that I love her so much" I said to her and a big smile appeared in Emily's face "I know you are, I can see that, the way you look at her, the way you care for her, it's very obvious that you love her, and I can tell the same about Annie" I could feel a sincerity in Emily's voice "What can you tell about me?" Annie appeared at the kitchen door with a messy bun and in my hoodie, my heart warmed to see her "Nothing much baby, I love you" I kissed her, she looked a little confused "I love you too" Annie laughed without trying to understand what was happening, we looked at Emily and she was taking a picture of us, the Christmas tree behind us and I rode Annie by her hand "Aww, so romantic" Emily joked and we all laughed.

Annie's pov:

It was Christmas eve and Paige and I were already in bed sleeping, tomorrow was Christmas and I was very excited and happy because my whole family would be here. I was trying to sleep, Paige's hand on my waist and her face on my neck, she was sleepig peacefully but I was awake I couldn't sleep for some reason, maybe anxiety, so I decided to go downstairs to drink water and breathe a little.

I took a glass and filled it with water and sat in front of the Christmas tree on the small sofa, I started thinking about life lately and how everything changed so suddenly how Paige is part of my life and how grateful I am for her, she changed me in a good way, I love her "Baby?" Paige said with a husky and sleepy voice, I turned to look at her and smiled softly, her hair was a little messy but she looked beautiful "Hey love" Paige sat next to me on the couch putting her arm behind me "What are you doing here?" I laid my head on her shoulder and looked at the bright lights on the tree, the presents were already on the floor and I wondered what tomorrow would be like "Just thinking, I couldn't sleep" I said and Paige rested her chin in the top of my head "um, thinking about what?" "Everything" Paige looked at me with a confused face, but smiled already used to my way of being "Am I in your thoughts?" She smirked "Always" I said and Paige kissed me "Good" I rested my head on her shoulder again, her hand under my pajama shirt rubbing it gently "Have I told you said how much I love you?" I said whispering "I love you too An" I smiled and closed my eyes just enjoying being in Paige's arms, the lights from the tree reflecting on us and suddenly I fell asleep.

The morning light appearing in my room, the cold air hitting my body as I woke up, I could see the snow outside falling and the roof full of it, as always I woke up next to Paige it reminded me that she probably brought me to my room because I fell asleep on the couch last night, I turned around and Paige was already awake looking at me "Good morning P, merry Christmas" I said, Paige pulled me closer and kissed my cheek "Good morning babe, merry Christmas "I giggled and started to playing with her hair "You look beautiful" Paige said putting her hand under my shirt on my back "Oh Paige come on, I just woke up my hair is a mess, I don't look pretty right now" Paige rolled her eyes "Whatever, you're still beautiful to me" She tried to kiss my lips but I turned my face away "morning breath" Paige raised her eyebrows at me "Oh really?!?" I looked at her confused  then Paige jumped on top of me trying to kiss me "Paige no" I laughed "Just one little kiss" She started tickling me and that was my weak point " PAIGE" I was laughing so hard, Paige closed the space between us with a soft kiss, when she broke apart I looked at her on top of me with passion in my eyes, then the the door opened in a rush "MERRY CHRIST-" Ellie's voice shouted in the room and Paige and I looked at the door, Paige got off of of me we were both embarrassed because it looked like we were doing something else "Damn you too are already getting freaky at 8 in the morning?? EMILY KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR DAUGHTER" Ellie said playfully "ELLIE SHUT UP, you're the one who didn't knock on the door at first, and we weren't doing anything" I said as I got up from the bed, I think Paige was a little relieved that it was Ellie and not my mom "If you say so, but don't be ashamed to have sex, you know, it's good for everyone, even you mom does-" "ELLIE ROBERTS STOP" I yelled from the bathroom not wanting to hear another word "Okay, okay" She said in a tone of redemption, Paige came to the bathroom with me laughing to start getting ready to open the Christmas presents, later the whole family will be here.

"Alright, now this is for you my love" I said giving Paige her present, the two that were left were me and Paige to give each other gift "Thank you babe" We gave a peck kiss and I handed her the present, Paige opened the package and the first gift was shown, a heart frame lego set because she loves lego, then a SZA vinyl, a perfume she said she've been wanting, dark puple basketball shoes she showed me she thought cool but they were sold out "NO WAY YOU FOUND THEM" She opened the box and hugged me "I did" I smiled proud of myself, then she opened a small box with a handmade letter with a picture of us and a rose she opened the letter and read, not out loud, there was also the '10 reasons why I love you' handmade gift in a small box too, Paige looked at at me I could see her eyes wanting to water then she hugged me resting her head on my shoulder like she always does "I love you" she said and 'Awww's were heard in the room "I love you too" I said, then Paige handed me my gift, I opened it and I could  already see a sheep bear that was so me coded, and a LOT of chocolate, there was also a Dior perfume, a short'n sweet vinyl because Paige knows im addicted to this album lately, and Paige just gave me a new camera the one with a different effect that I was wanting "PAIGE ARE YOU KIDDING" I said opening the box excitedly "Do you like it?" "WHAT? I loved it, thank you babe" I hugged her "There's one more thing "I looked in the box and a  there was a small swarovisk bag there, I looked at Paige and opened it, It was a necklace with a 'P' pendant "Paige... It's beautiful" "Yeah, I thought you would like it because of that Taylor Swift song that you hear, 'Call it what you want'" the lyrics came to my head

my eyes were watering and I couldn't hold back the tears "Are you crying Annie?" My mom asked "I just loved it, Paige, I love you" I hugged her and she kissed me "Let me help you to put it on" She held my hair  softly, her fingers touching my skin, the necklace was perfect like if was always there.

I could hear  my family's voice downstairs, I was nervous because I hadn't seen them in a long time and I just came out to my mother and Ellie, though my family probably saw my instagram post, Im just scared of how they will react. I put on my dark blue dress with black heels, I let my hair down and did my makeup, Paige was in a kind of fancy 'hoddie', beige jeans and she had her natural hair bacause I convinced her "Are you ready?" I said fixing her blouse that was crooked "No" Paige said with a teasing tone and I looked at her worried "No? If you want we can stay here, don't worr-" "Im just kidding pretty, Im ready" I looked at her and smiled "Wait" I went to my dresser and grabbed some lip gloss and went back to Paige "Can I put some on you?" I asked politely "Sure" I put the lipgloss on Paige, she kept eye contact with me the whole time and when I finished she stole a kiss from me "Baby!" I laughed and she kissed me again "Now you can't complain about me taking off your lip gloss".

Paige and I went to the living room, where my older cousin, who is also Claire's and Henry's daughter was, and Ellie and her boyfriend were there too, "Annie, look at you, you look beautiful" My cousin Ava said "Thank you 'Avy', you're look beautiful too" Ava looked behind me and saw Paige "And that's your girlfriend right?" When came out Paige Ava was one of the firt to send me a congratulatory message "Hi nice to meet you" Paige said "It's my pleasure". We said hi to Ellie's boyfriend and my uncle James, then we went to the kitchen where my gradma was with my mom cooking "Gradma, hi" I said and my gradma who is not very old turned to look at me "AH FINALLY my dear Annie" I hugged her "How beautiful you look" "Thanks gradma" I looked at Paige who was talking to my mom and signaled her to come "Grandma this is Paige...My girlfriend" My gradma looked at her then looked at me, I froze and I realized Paige wasn't relaxed either "Dear, your girl is BEAUTIFUL" My grandma said emphatically the 'beautiful' weight lifted off my shoulders "It's so good to meet you Paige, I hope you're treating my Annie well" Paige smiled "Don't worry Ms. Amelia, I am" I smiled and nodded my head agreeing with paige and interlocking our arms "She's a good girl mom, don't worry about it" My mom said from the other side of the kitchen "Let's sit there so we can talk more, can you finish this alone Emi?" Grandma said "Sure, go ahead".

We had Christmas dinner, and  the whole family loved Paige, they asked her a lot about basketball, her sense of humor made everyone laugh and have fun, I was also very happy to see my family again, Christmas was being perfect Paige called her parents to say merry Christmas and I talked to them for the first time, they are so sweet and kind, her little brother Drew is one of the funniest kids I know, they are so alike, everything was amazing and I was so happy to be with Paige. We finished dinner and stayed in the living room talking with the family, a random playlist on the background to make a noise and everyone was talking, then Paige and I decided to go to the tv room just the two of us to have a moment to us "You're look so gorgeous in that dress baby" Paige said placing me on her lap as she was sitting on the couch "Thanks love" I kissed her and we continued talking "So...do you think they like me?" Paige asked me "They love you P, they like you more than they like me" I joked and Paige laughed "I have a way with family" she winked and I rolled my eyes playfully "you the best thing that ever happened to me P" Paige pulled me closer "Yeah? I also think that, you changed me for the better you know? No one could ever make me feel the way you do" I smiled at her, butterflies in my stomach "I've always had my eye on you, did you know?" Paige said "What do you mean?" I asked confused "I always saw you in the corridors, classes, with Sarah, one day I went to the library to get your name but I gave up. "I know, I know" she said and I shook my head playfully

"Seriously now, you're my soulmate Annie im so happy we are here now, together"

"Me too my love" our foreheads rested against each other and we felt like we were the only ones in the world, in that moment I had sure that Paige is the love of my life and that we are made for each other

'Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?'

"I love you Paige" I said to her "I love you too Annie" we kissed in a slowly, just enjoying each other, Paige is the missing piece in my life she makes me be the best version of myself, and I love her, I love her now, in 10 minutes, tomorrow, next year, in another life, I love Paige and now I can say it without fear of tomorrow or if she feels the same because I know she does, I know she loves me as much as I do and that nothing or no one can ruin our love.

This book is so special to me, mainly because Annie has a lot of my personality traits.

The chapters were mostly inspired by music, which was a lot of fun to do because I created scenarios with the songs and then put them on paper (so this is definitely not my last book).

English is not my first language so I also learned a lot writing this!
