CHAPTER : 6

Six years later

In the past six years, it feels like the eternity has passed. Virat, who was once a charming, young happy being is now a person who is always surrounded by work and is not happy anymore. The happiness of his face and his heart has been gone, somewhere with someone. After sai left Virat's life, his life took a u turn. He engaged himself in all the work and goes on different dangerous cases. Ashwini, shivani and Pakhi feels bad for Virat but they also know that he is too stubborn to understand what they feel is right.

After six months, when sai decided to leave the life of the members of the Chavan family, a sudden fire caught the Chavan nivas and in the tragic accident, ashwini, shivani and Pakhi together with Virat was saved but Bhavani and Ninad died. Virat was completely devastated as for him, everyone he loved was leaving him. Ashwini was broken and hurt that her husband died but she feels more worried about Virat as now the truth of sai, has also been burnt and buried with the bodies of Bhavani and Ninad.

Samrat, as promised to pakhi, took her with him to Hyderabad as he has been posted there. He insisted ashwini and shivani to also come with him but they denied as they don't want to leave Virat alone. They can understand his situation and they know that after his father's death both ashwini and Virat needed each others support and shivani stick along so that she can give some extra support to both of them. Mohit and karishma was living the life in mumbai as mohit got the big role in a show. After coming to know the truth about Sai and Virat from ashwini, Mohit taunted Virat and missed sai, for him, sai was the only person in the house who fully supported him and encouraged him to do what he loves. Omkar and sonali, shifted with Mohit and karishma in Mumbai after the tragic accident.

Virat has been posted in garchiroli or he took his transfer there. He wanted to feel sai even if he don't want to stay with sai. He thought that when sai will come back he will atleast get a glance of sai. And that will be enough for him to live a life without her. He was not ready to move on, he wanted her to be in his life even if she is with someone other than him. He has prepared himself to see sai with any other men because he thinks that he has pushed sai away from him by not telling about his feelings and making her feel lonely. Every other day, he passes by Sai's house and hope to see sai, but all he sees is a big lock on the gate. He had thought that sai will return to garchiroli but she never returned. She was not there in garchiroli but Virat thought that he will wait here for her.

Sai was sitting in the park looking at the sunset. She still remembers how she used to sit like this on the balcony of her room with Virat and they both used to have long chats. She miss him. She wanted to be with him, but she can't. A man came from behind and tapped Sai's shoulder. She came out of her thoughts and looked on her side. The man settled down besides sai and she smiled. He was the man who supported her through her though times. She smiled at him, trying to hide her pain but her eyes can speak more louder than her words and she know that the man can easily read her eyes. She remembers that how he gives her all his support and helped her finish her M.B.B.S. How he helped her get settled with him in the house next to his. She was delighted to have him in her life. The moment she told him about her divorce and her story, he immediately ran to her and gives her some moral support she needed.

She can't thank him enough, for what ever he has done for her.

Samrat: abhi bhi apne pati ko yaad kar rahi ho?

Sai could not speak, she knows that she can't lie to him. When sai called samrat to talk to him as she was missing someone's guidence, samrat knows that something was wrong with her. He asked and she told him everything. Except the name of her husband. Samrat was in Nagpur as it was the time when the fire broke into the house. Despite of loosing his family members, he was there for Sai.

Samrat: agar itna hi yaad karti ho use, toh jake sab sach sach kyu nahi bata deti?

Sai: nahi bata sakti na dada. Ab bas kaise bhi yeh zindagi katni hai... Akele

Samrat: pata nahi kyu, par sai mujhe aaisa lagta hai ki tumhari zindagi akele nahi kate gi..

Sai just smiled...

Sai: ha bilkul akele nahi kate gi, aap ho na or ab toh bhabhi bhi aa gai hai, toh ab toh bilkul akele nahi hu mein or waise kab mila rahe ho mujhe bhabhi se?

Samrat has moved in with pakhi at the time when sai was still completing her degree. After completing her degree, she applied for internship in Nagpur and just a month before she has shifted to Hyderabad with samrat because of samrat's constant attempt to make her stay with him. She did not wanted to interrupt the married life of samrat, so she rented the house just besides samrat. Pakhi was in her mother's house at the time when sai has shifted. She has also applied for the job at some reputed hospitals and got accepted in one of them. Now she is Dr. Sai Joshi. She has fulfilled the dream of her aba. But she remembers that Virat too wanted to see her become doctor. She thought that if he would be here with her, he would be so proud.

Samrat: aare aaj hi toh teri bhabhi aai hai or pata hai vo tujhse milne ki zid laga baithi hai bol rahi hai ki tumse milna hai..

Sai: aab aap meri hi baare mein baatein karo ge unse toh vo yahi kahengi na..

Sai teased samrat and he laughed remembering all those moments when pakhi gets upset and tired hearing about Sai all day and warn him not to talk about her anymore. She knows that samrat and sai share the brother and sister bond but she still gets jealous of listening Sai's name from samrat all day long.

Samrat: haa vo toh hai, ab chale, vaha tumhari bhabi, tumhara dinner pe intezar kar rahi hai.

Sai: ha chaliye.. mujhe koi problem nahi hai. Or mujhe bhook bhi lag rahi hai.

Samrat and sai both moves towards his house. In the last six years sai do not get to know about any of samrat's family members and this was the first time she was meeting his wife or she thought so.

It feels like an eternity has passes in both Sai's and Virat's life. With all the happenings and situations occuring in their life, their love for each other is still there. Even if they both were hurt, Virat with Sai's actions and sai with Virat's false accusations. But their is still love in their heart for each other. They both were living with the memories they have with each other.
