CHAPTER : 1

Sai reached pulkit's house. Her tears left the marks on her cheeks and shows that how much she has cried. Her eyes were all dried and red because of the constant crying. She stands in front of the door and rang the door bell. Pulkit opened the door and his face shows the shock. Seeing Sai's condition he immediately asked sai to come in and make her sit on the sofa.

He runs to bring the water from the kitchen and make sai drink the water.

Sai gulped the whole glass of water because the constant crying has made her throat dry. Pulkit made sure that sai is fully calmed and relaxed before he can ask any question to her.

Pulkit: sai, yeh kya hua? Kaise hua? Tumhari yeh halat kaise ho gai?

Sai: jiju, aapna devi tai or Hirani ko leke kahi dur chale jao jaha aapko kaku ya Chavan khandan ka koi bhi member nahi dhund paye. Please.. mein aapke samne haat jodti hu. Please aap chale jao yaha se.

Pulkit was confused, he thought that what has happened to sai? Where is his sai who was full of happiness and smiles in every situation. The sai sitting in front of him was not his sai, she was not happy anymore. The happiness is far away from her and there is no trace of gaity and same brightness in her eyes?

Pulkit: sai, kya hua hai? Tum aaisa kyu keh rahi ho? Tum theek ho na? Yeh kya halat bana rakhi hai tumne?

Sai: jiju, aapko pata, kaku aapko or devi tai ki meri hisse ki saja de rahi thi, meri wajha se aapko, devi tai ko or yaha tak ki aai ko bhi saja mili.

She remembered all the happening and break down again. She was inconsolable. The tears started to fall again from her eyes.

Pulkit was very concerned about her condition. He cannot understand what has happened that has affected sai so much that she just can't stop crying.

Pulkit tried to console her and after sometime, she finally stopped crying. Pulkit gently asked her what has happened. She narrated all the incidents happens in the last few hours and how her life have taken a complete u-turn. How Bhavani and sai made a deal that sai will leave the house and in return, Bhavani will stop torturing devyani and ashwini. She also told him about how Bhavani falsely accused her of cheating Virat and about the false proof. Pulkit know samrat as he has already met him in the hospital and he was the one who has taken him to the hospital. He trusts sai and believes that she could never cheat on Virat.

Sai told him about Virat trusting Bhavani blindly and him bad mouthing her.

Pulkit was so shocked to know that Virat believed Bhavani and her false proof. He was filled with anger and he can't just hold onto himself from going to Chavan house and make Virat realise what he has done. Pulkit holds a special place for Sai in his heart as if sai would not have been there with him, then he would never have married devyani. He could not just stand the insults which Virat has done of sai.

Pulkit: sai tum yahi ruko mein abhi ata hu. Koi tumhe hurt kare yeh mein nahi dekh Sakta, Virat ko yeh nahi karna chahiye tha.

He stand up took his keys on turned around to go to Chavan Nivas but sai held his hand and stopped him.

Sai: ruk jaiye jiju, jab rishta hi nahi raha toh unke pass jake kuch bolne se kya fayda?

Pulkit turned around and asked sai what she was talking about? What does she mean by, that her relationship with Virat is over?

Sai wanted to answer but her tears and pain once again took over her words. She started sobbing again. Pulkit was so concerned about her health and thought if she did not stop crying then she will harm her health and will fall ill.

Pulkit: sai please, rona band karo. Mere liye nahi kam se kam apni devi tai ke liye. Jinke liye tumne apne pati se rishta tod diya, jinke liye tum ne sab kuch chod diya , sab se lad gai, kam se kam unke liye toh rona band karo. Tumhe pata hai na ki devi ki halat kaise hai, agar vo tumhe rota hua, aaise dekhi gi toh use kitna bura lagega. Please chup ho jao.

Sai wanted to cry more but she also have to be strong. Strong for her devi tai. She wiped her tears and told Pulkit the full story. She told him that she is not married to Virat anymore, that she has signed the divorce papers. Pulkit did not know what to speak , he was speechless on hearing about Virat's stupidity, he can only support her on her decision which she has to take now.

He consoled her and sit right across her.  There was moment of silence. None of them speak for a few moments. Then sai finally breaks the ice.

Sai: jiju, aap please chale jaiye yaha se dur. Taki aapko uss pariwar ka koi bhi sadasya nahi dhoond paye. Ab aap or devi tai dono ek saath reh sakte hai. Please yaha se chali jaiye. Mein janti hu ki kaku ne bhale hi mujhse bola ho ki vo aap dono ko akele chod dengi, par mujhe unpe viswas nahi. Aai ke saath toh ab Mr. Virat hai, unhe koi kuch nahi kar sakta, par app, aap please yaha se chale jayega.

Pulkit: sai tum kya krogi?

Sai: jiju mein aaj hi garchiroli chali jaongi. Vaha pe aba ke bank mein kuch paise hai, mein vo lelo gi or yaha wapas college ke hostel mein apne doctor banne tak rahungi or phir baad mein, mein bhi yaha se dur chali jaongi. Iss sab se dur. Taki iss family ka chehra mujhe kabhi na dikhe.

Pulkit was feeling bad for Sai but now he was proud on her. He is proud to see that sai is so strong that even after all these happenings, she is still standing strong. He has a proud smile on his face.

Pulkit: sai, mujhe tumpe garv hai, or mujhe pata hai ki tum ek din doctor banke apne aba ka sapna pura zarur karogi. Mujhe pata hai sai.

Sai smiled that now she has to concentrate only on becoming the doctor.

She persuaded Pulkit to leave this place and start a new life with his family somewhere else. He finally agreed and after sometime sai left for garchiroli. Pulkit has told sai that he will arrange for a room in the hostel for her by the time she will come back and help her to move in the hostel and then he will leave Nagpur.

Sai agreed and also asked Pulkit that if he can arrange for a new SIM for her. She don't want to keep the old connections with her. She wanted a fresh start. Pulkit said that it will be arranged by the time she will come back.
