once i wake up i see the blonde is still laying there cuddling around me, it was 9 the game didn't start until 5 but it was time to get up. i shimmy my way out of her grip trying not to wake her up but i failed
"where are you going?" she says still with her eyes closed "mmm to get food i'm hungry, i was always raised to never stay in bed past 9" i say responding to her "mmm can you bring me back something" she says turning over heading back to sleep "ofc baby" i say getting up giving her a kiss on her forehead then heading out

i get down to the buffet the hotel had and grabbed some plates "reign?" i hear a familiar voice say, i turn around seeing kk "oh hello kk" i say turning back around putting some fruit on each plate "paige was with you last night right?" kk says worried "girl yes she's fine" i say as i finish the plates with fruit, pancakes and sausage. she just gives me a look and walks away, i head back up to the room to give paige her food
"here you go baby" i say handing the plate to her "thank youuu" she sits up excitedly and starts munching down, i sit next to her and do the same. once we finished our food it's only 10:45 we had plenty of time before we head to be at the gym
"what do you wanna do today?" paige asks me "hmmm idk honestly" i say not knowing what there is to do in DC "did you hear me last night?" paige says catching me off guard "hmm the way you were begging or something else?" i say with a smirk on my face knowing she was referring to when she said i love you. she rolls her eyes in my response "no like right before you fell asleep" she says concerned "no? whatd you say" i say trying to act dumb
"look at you, your playing with that necklace and bitting your lip, i know your lying" she says looking at me as we lay down. fuck why does she have to study me like that "oh .. uhm" i say trying to explain myself but she cuts me off "rie it's okay if you don't feel the same way just tell me" she says sitting up still looking at me "no no no i do" i say sitting up putting my hand over her hand
"you what?" she says looking at me with a sideways look. fuckkk bro should i? do i really need to say it? i'm scared once i say it there's no going back and she'll know i'll take her back no matter what. but i do love her , a lot. "hellooo?" she says snapping me out of my thoughts
"paige are you sure you didn't just say it in the heat of the moment?" i say trying to make sure that's how she really felt " i'm sure rie" she says smiling at me "i love you so much mama, you don't even understand" she says trying to reassure me "i love you too paige" i say looking down , she brings my head back up with her finger to make me look at her "what's wrong?" she says concerned

we get to the game and as they warm up i set up all the medical supplies just in case a player gets hurt, as the game starts i sit on the end of the bench watching as tip off happens

the game was a fight but the huskies won 89-65 against georgetown. after the game paige ran up to me and hugged me and kissed my forehead "wow in public??? with paparazzi???!" i say looking up at the tall blonde basketball player "mhm in public" she says smiling and giving me a quick kiss before running into the locker room
