Keeping the cup of coffee on his table, he immediately dialled the number of his manager. After waiting for a few minutes, the call was picked up from the other side.
: "Hello? Sir did you read the newspaâ"
"Yes, I did. Hence, I called you."
: "The company will get even more powerful through the competition and we will have no chance than to back off."
"I never signed up for backing off this way. Well, you see, they got a competitive opponent. Putting this aside, how are the current deals going on? Is there a chance we can have the USA's deal?"
: "Yes, sir. There are high chances that we can crack the USA's deal."
"Good job."
: "And sir, do you know that Jeon Jungkook is returniâ"
"Yes, I do. Focus on the work for now. I'll look after this matter and tell you your part of the work."
: "Okay sir. Have a nice day ahead."
Taehyung hung up the call and took the cup of coffee in his hands again to take a sip ahead and keep it back. He grabbed his head and massaged it while closing his eyes and drowning in deep thoughts.
Min Industrial Corporation had always been a competitive company to Kim Corporation. The former had been quite an older company than the latter. But when Taehyung's company started growing up and reaching heights, the competition from Min's toughened, making it hard for Taehyung to beat them and it remained on the second position throughout Korea and third position throughout Asia. While Min Industrial Corporation had always been cracking first position. Be it in Korea or in Asia.
The competition never bothered Taehyung much until he heard about the rumours of Min's company to be semi-related to Jungkook, which was what he wished not to happen even in hundreds of next births. He had no strength to stand up to another competition against him.
He knew that if the competition would start, it wouldn't end where they had left it all in peace. But after Taehyung read the news headlines, it was indeed linked to Jungkook. And not semi-linked. But completely linked.
Jungkook was rumoured to be Min Yoongi's, the Min's CEO, maternal nephew. And that he would be passing the company to Jungkook as to how nice he had always been in business related studies.
But to Taehyung's fortune, Jungkook had no interest in starting any business. Taehyung knew that if Jungkook would've started a business, he would've been very, very competitive. It was what he had been from the start. One of the best things about him, and one of the worst things about him too.
Now watching Jungkook come back in the competition with a debut in this field, it added nothing but a mental pressure on Taehyung. Not only 'cause of the competition, but also the reasons included the unlocking of all those locked up bitter memories.
To relax his mind a bit, Taehyung went inside his room and laid on his bed before his eyes closed unconsciously, taking him out of the worldly trance for a few hours.
