His thumb pressed against my lip, eyes burning into mine with undeniable possession.

"Still pretending, princess?" he murmured. "Still acting like you don’t remember how you moaned my name?"

Heat pooled in my stomach, anger and something far more dangerous twisting together.

"I don't even know your name," I spat, shoving at his chest.

His smirk deepened. "Oh, but you will. And when you do, you'll be screaming it."

My breath hitched as his grip tightened around my waist, pulling me flush against his body. Hard. Hot. Unyielding.

"You had your fun, baby," he whispered, his lips grazing my ear. "Now it's my turn."

I forced myself to glare at him. "I don’t belong to you."

He laughed, dark and knowing. "Then why," he tilted my chin up, his lips a breath away from mine, "is your pulse racing like you want me to ruin you again?"

I clenched my jaw. "Get out."

"Not happening, sweetheart."

His fingers traced the curve of my waist, his touch like fire branding my skin.

"You walked away after that night," he murmured. "But you left something behind."

I frowned. "What are you talking about?"

His smirk vanished, eyes turning sharp. Dangerous.

"You think I didn’t notice, princess?" His voice dipped lower, sending a chill down my spine. "That you ran because you were hiding something?"

My breath caught. No. No, he couldn't know.

He leaned in, his lips brushing against my jaw, his next words sending ice through my veins.

"You're carrying my baby, aren’t you?"
