When the test results came back the doctor told me I needed surgery.
He said it was extremely risky and I may die but that I'd die for sure without it.
The day of the surgery came and I was being wheeled into the operating room.
As I was slowly going under no heard a nurse speaking to the surgeon.
"So, this kid's heart matches the one your daughter needs?"
"Yes"
"So, he's not gonna make it...is he?"
"No"
I was going to die whether I wanted to or not.
