There is a theory that the animals in Winnie the Pooh are actually representations of different psychiatric disorders.

Unsurprisingly, Pooh was a compulsive eater, Piglet had anxiety, Eeyore had severe depression, Tigger had ADHD and Christopher Robin –who believed his stuffed animals could talk –suffered from hallucinations.
