Gu Mengmeng and Lea exchanged a knowing smile.
Lea asked again. âSnatching her tribeâs territory after hearing her say she wanted to go home. This idea...?â
Carter replied with the ignorant expression of a chauvinistic male. âOh, this was my own idea.â
Lea chuckled. âNo one suggested it to you?â
Carter thought for a moment before replying. âDora gave some advice.â
Lea chuckled again and shook his head with a sigh. He ignored Carter and hooked Gu Mengmengâs chin. With a loving expression, he said, âMengmeng, promise me that you will never choose a partner from the ocean tribes... their stupidity is so profound that they will lower our householdâs average IQ.â
Gu Mengmeng nodded wisely. âDonât worry, I despise males who canât recognize a bitch when he sees one.â
Elvis had already cleaned the pot and leaned it against a large tree by the side. He then washed his hands and drew Gu Mengmeng back into his arms.
Elvis had overheard the entire conversation. He could behave rather civilly towards a male who had no intentions towards Gu Mengmeng.
Kissing Gu Mengmengâs little face, he said, âLetâs leave after you get the Kiss of the Ocean. His type... is hopeless. Donât waste your time.â
Carter was in a daze from all their admonishments. He did not really understand and could offer no objections. Only when Elvis said not to bother about him did he finally snap out of his trance. He looked at Gu Mengmeng with desperation. âGreat Messenger. Where did I go wrong? Please tell me. I am willing to change! For Melinda, I can change anything.â
Gu Mengmeng chuckled. âDo you know what is your biggest mistake?â
Carter shook his head. Everything he had done was for the sake of keeping Melinda by his side. He didnât feel that he had done anything wrong.
Gu Mengmeng continued. âYeah, as expected... a male suffering from chauvinistic cancer will never know when his illness has reached the terminal stage.â
Carter was taken aback. He glanced down at his own body and frowned. âAm I... going to die? Thatâs why I cannot bring her happiness?â
Gu Mengmeng thought that the generation gap between Snake and her was the widest she had ever experienced, but it appeared that she was wrong.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
In the Beast World, there was always another person who would be even more difficult to get through to!
Generation gap, haha, it was something which had no limits.
Lea gave a light laugh. âFailing to make your female happy is your greatest mistake.â
Carter fell into deep thought, before nodding urgently. âI know. Itâs my fault. But I donât know how to change. Thatâs why I need the great Messenger to teach me...â
Lea shook his head. âTaking instructions from another female other than your own female is your second mistake.â
Carterâs face froze as he listened to Leaâs words like he was preaching from the Heavenly Book. With a gaping mouth and confused eyes, he stared uncomprehending at Lea.
Lea pointed at Elvis, and then at himself. âOur Mengmeng liked me first, but he is Mengmengâs first partner. Do you know why?â
Carter thought about it before answering. âBecause he is a fifth-level beast and you canât defeat him.â
Lea gave a mocking laugh. âYou are really exceptionally stupid. How could he be a fifth-level beast before becoming a partner?â
Carter slapped his head as he remembered about the third-level boundary.
Lea ignore Carter and continued. âBecause like as you, I committed the biggest mistake in this world. I did something which made my female unhappy.â
