“Gregory.” Lea called while standing by the side of the cooking fire.

Gregory was momentarily taken aback before turning toward Lea with an inquiring look.

Lea said, “Mengmeng loves to eat bird eggs. Go get some and I will stew them for her.”

Gregory’s face froze. Disbelief filled his eyes as he continued staring at Lea in a daze.

Lea chuckled and tilted his head in question. “What? Are you unwilling?”

“Not at all.” Gregory shook his head humbly.

“Then hurry up and go. Don’t delay Mengmeng’s meal time.” Lea turned his attention back to the simmering pot.

Auretin hovered around Lea asking if there was anything he could do to help. In reality, he wished to add more dishes. He went hungry for as many days as Gu Mengmeng had been asleep. He was nearly starving to death now. But if he directly listed the food he wanted to eat, Lea would never make them. He had to make use of the excuse of adding more food for Gu Mengmeng’s sake to prompt Lea to make a few more dishes.

Truthfully speaking, Auretin was no match for Lea in manipulation. Nevertheless, Auretin’s desire was so innocent and simple that Lea couldn’t be bothered to expose him. As a result, he let Auretin go ahead with his own intentions.

Lea had a lot on his mind now. He needed some quiet and it was a good thing not having this Auretin hovering around him.

Elvis carried Gu Mengmeng out of the house and saw Lea standing alone by the fire, concentrating on his cooking. Gregory and Auretin were not around.

The steam from the pot blurred Lea’s profile. Gu Mengmeng squinted. “Do you feel Lea looks quite different? He seems to have grown even more handsome...”

Wabei glanced lazily at Lea before bragging. “Mmm, it’s all thanks to me.”

Gu Mengmeng stared at Wabei. “What? Are you an expert plastic surgeon from South Korea? Taking advantage of the time when I was asleep to perform plastic surgery on Lea?”

Wabei didn’t know what Gu Mengmeng was talking about and so just rolled his eyes. “You are a Beast King, right? How can you not notice that he has been promoted another level? So embarrassing. Don’t tell others that we are friends.”

Gu Mengmeng kept silent for two seconds before a huge grin bloomed across her face. She pounced toward Lea.

Lea knew the instant Gu Mengmeng emerged from the house.

How to put it? To Lea, Gu Mengmeng’s existence was like a beacon of light. He would naturally notice her the moment she appeared.

And since they were close by, Lea overheard their entire conversation.

With a smile playing upon the corners of his lips, Lea firmly catch Gu Mengmeng, who had leaped onto his back like a monkey. “Happy?”

“Of course I am happy...” Gu Mengmeng held onto Lea’s neck as she gave him a big kiss. “I immediately felt you looked different when I woke up. So you were promoted... ha, ultimate-level Lea. So handsome. I can barely tear my eyes away from you.”

Lea was extremely pleased from Gu Mengmeng’s exaggerated adulation.

Generally speaking, it was rather sad to be valued only for one’s looks. But to Lea, being the best looking person to Gu Mengmeng was something to be proud of.

Tilting his head, he said, “Still not the ultimate-level. I will become even better looking after we get the Spirit of the Rocky Cliffs and I activate my Beast King bloodline.”

For my Lea’s world-class beauty, I am willing to brave mountains of swords and seas of fire!” Gu Mengmeng kissed Lea again and added. “You are so handsome now. Our future children will definitely be even cuter than those babies in milk powder commercials.”
