“Got it.” Lea answered gently, without any doubt.

Miranda had just returned from moving the last piece of rock. On hearing Gu Mengmeng’s announcement, she instantly went weak in the knees and collapsed on the ground.

Tears flowed down her cheeks like a broken string of pearls. She gazed at Lea with anguished eyes. “Ah Ya, how can you treat me like this? Given our past relationship, you should at least help speak up for me... although you have someone new now, at least I was once affianced to you.
