Lea shot Gu Mengmeng a “I told you so” look. Gu Mengmeng had no retort and just nodded. “What happens after that?”

Lea chuckled. “Cole never loved anyone before. It is impossible for him to reestablish the contract like Peter did. Let’s be prudent and say Cole manages somehow to get rid of his stray beast status via some dirty trick... ha, do you think he can withstand the counter damage from a second mating contract?”

Gu Mengmeng thought about it and felt that Lea’s arrangements were very comprehensive. Cole wouldn’t have the time to hinder her from getting the Love of the Sky if he was busy trying to get rid of his stray beast status. Hence, she nodded and patted Wabei’s shoulder. “Alright, from now on, you are Snake’s stepfather.”
