Wabei gave his neck a couple of cracks after Gu Mengmeng’s smack. “I am just speaking the truth. In the Beast World, which family managed to see all their children grow up to be adults? Snake beasts can bear over 20 offspring at a time, of which only about three to five would survive to adulthood. In addition, Chixuan is just a male pup and not a female. I don’t know why you treasure him so much... tsk, you are just weird.”

Lea chuckled. “Stray beasts fear you... so all he has to do is to discard his stray beast status, isn’t that right?”

Gu Mengmeng was perplexed. “What do you mean?”

Lea looked at Wabei. “Just tell everyone that you helped Wabei get rid of his stray beast status, allowing him to partner a female again—wouldn’t that resolve the issue?”

“Will it work? Cole is so crafty. Would he believe it?” Gu Mengmeng was doubtful.

Lea chuckled. “With the successful case of Peter, he will believe it.”

Gu Mengmeng glanced at Wabei. “Shall we find a female to help us in our little act then?”

Lea shook his head. “There will be flaws and gaps if it is just an act, so...”
