Before they dispersed, Mo Lian had specifically mentioned that there would be a gathering that night. She hoped that everyone would be able to attend.

“Ever since I decided to sever ties with the Mo family, Mo Lian has had no way of threatening me. All she can do is say something unprofessional to humiliate me. I didn’t suffer any losses, so why bother with her?”
