Chapter 129 - Mo Lian’s Invitation

In the afternoon, Mo Yan returned to the meeting room. Xu Tian and Li Guoguo were already waiting for her.

Seeing Mo Yan return, Li Guoguo pouted and said coquettishly, “Mo Yan, you promised me to let me meet your husband! Why did you run away when he came downstairs?”

“Don’t you want to know why Dad divorced your mom?” Mo Lian suppressed her anger towards Mo Yan’s rude reply.

Mo Yan laughed softly, her laughter was filled with ridicule. “Mo Dong divorced my mom because of your mom. Do you think I don’t know this? Besides, why would I need to hear this from you? If anything I can just ask my mom directly.”

Mo Lian was so angry that her entire body was trembling. She gritted her teeth and said hatefully, “Even if you ask you mom, she won’t tell you! Because...”

At this point, Mo Lian seemed to have thought of something and immediately stopped talking. When she spoke again, her voice was full of calmness. There was even a hint of schadenfreude in her tone.

“Do you really not want to know? Why was Dad so heartless towards your family? Why your mom agreed to Dad’s request for a divorce instead of fighting against it?”
