𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙍𝙀𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙋𝙇𝙀𝙎 stood at the table throwing their glass cups in the air then cheering and after drank out the champagne

the night air was warm, the sky a deep navy speckled with stars, and the waves crashed softly in the distance

the love island villa had been their world for weeks but tonight as kordell and joy sat at the soul ties ceremony it finally hit them this was their last night here

joy wiped a stray tear from her cheek laughing shakily

"I don't even know why I'm crying I think I'm just... overwhelmed we actually made it" joy admitted with her voice thick with emotion

kordell sitting across from her on the plush couch nodded with his own eyes glossy

he reached for her hand intertwining their fingers as he exhaled deeply

"I know it's crazy after everything we went through casa amor, the arguments, the doubts... we're sitting here in the finale together" kordell said as his voice cracked on the last word and he shook his head blinking away tears

joy squeezed his hand

"and through all of it I never stopped wanting this wanting us" joy said

kordell let out a small emotional chuckle with his thumb running over the back of her hand

"man if you told me weeks ago that I'd be here with you feeling the way I feel right now... I wouldn't have believed it but joy you're the best thing that happened to me in this villa no matter what happens tomorrow I already won because I found you" kordell sniffed shaking his head

joy's lip trembled as a fresh wave of tears threatened to spill

"don't make me cry more I feel the same way I don't care what happens with the vote the real win is walking out of here with you for real in the real world" joy laughed softly but her voice wavered

kordell exhaled nodding as he took her other hand pulling her closer

"I can't wait to do everything with you outside late-night drives, real dates, no cameras just us" kordell said

"you think we'll be good out there?" joy smiled through her tears

kordell looked her in the eyes with his expression serious but full of love

"I know we will we already proved we can handle anything in here out there? that's where we really get to live this" kordell said as he gently cupped her face with his thumb wiping a tear from her cheek

joy let out a breath pressing her forehead against his

"I love this moment" joy whispered

kordell closed his eyes taking it all in

and as they sat there wrapped up in each other the night air cool around them but their hearts warm they knew this wasn't just the end of love island it was the start of something real

joy was now in the makeup room taking off her makeup with nicole, jana and leah

"your in the final fucking four I'm just so excited" nicole said

"I am too" joy smiled

"we're gonna do our big one" nicole said

"definitely" joy said

"I'm just sitting here like so honored you guys" leah said

"you thought you were gonna go?" nicole said

"me too I was so scared for you" joy said

after joy took off her makeup and put on shorts and a crop top she made her way out the makeup room

"guys we made it! I'm so happy!" joy squeal to the other islanders who laid in bed

the others cheered and clapped while joy got in bed with kordell

the villa was quieter than usual

the usual chaos of challenges and recouplings had faded into a warm dreamy haze

it was their last night here and kordell wasn't about to waste a second of it

joy laid on their bed with her curls spilling over the pillows as she gazed at him with a soft smile

ghe dim lighting cast a golden glow over her smooth skin making her look even more irresistible

kordell was leaning on his side with one arm propping up his head as he just stared at her taking in every detail like he was trying to memorize her

"you know I never thought I'd make it to the end of this... let alone with you" kordell murmured with his fingers tracing slow circles on her bare arm

joy let out a small laugh with her voice light but tinged with something deeper

"me neither but here we are" joy said

kordell leaned closer with his forehead brushing against hers

"no regrets?" kordell said

"none" joy whispered

that was all he needed

kordell closed the space between them capturing her lips in a slow deep kiss

joy melted into him with her hands slipping around his neck as she pulled him even closer

his hand slid down her waist gripping her hip gently anchoring her against him

the kiss deepened, their breaths mingling as kordell shifted pressing her back into the mattress

his lips trailed from her mouth down to her jaw then to her neck leaving soft lingering kisses that made joy sigh against him

her fingers tangled in his hair with nails grazing his scalp just enough to send a shiver down his spine

"you drive me crazy you know that?" kordell  murmured against her skin

"good" joy giggled tilting his chin up so their eyes met

kordell grinned before capturing her lips again with his body molding against hers as their heartbeats synced

the villa, the cameras, the outside world it all disappeared

in this moment it was just them

and no matter what happened after they left he knew one thing for sure he was falling hard and there was no turning back

the whole night they kissed until they were tired and fully shifted off to sleep

joy opened her eyes slowly and looked to her side seeing kordell burying his face behind her with his arms wrapped around her face

"I ain't gonna lie to you guys it is so weird waking up and seeing all these empty ass beds" miguel said

"yeah" jana said

"it is" joy said then yawned

"that's crazy to think about how far we've all come here so" kendall said

joy was about to speak until she gasped hearing somebody's phone ring

"lord!" joy said

"shutup" kendall said

"oh" kordell said

"oh shit!" miguel said

"we got a text!" leah laughed holding her phone in her hand

"oh shit!" kendall said

"leah!" joy said

"islanders today each couple will leave the villa to go on their final dates!" leah read off her phone

"ayeee" all the islanders cheered until another phone rung

"oh shit another one?" kordell said

"what?" joy said

"nicole and kendall it's time for your final date please get ready to leave the villa #LiftOff #AloneTime" nicole read off her phone

the islanders cheered happily while kendall and nicole jumped on their bed

the girls made their way to the makeup room about to get nicole ready

"yay! your going on your date" jana cheered

"nikki's going on a date!!" joy cheered

after the girls watched nicole get ready they heard the door getting knocked on

"come in!" joy said

"who is it?" jana said

the door slowly opened revealing kendall who smiled once he locked eyes with nicole

"wow you look so nice" jana said

"oh my god you look incredible!" kendall said to nicole who stood up

"she does" joy smiled

the girls went downstairs with both nicole and kendall where the boys were down already cheering

they said goodbye and good luck to the couple who was going on their date

once the couple made their way out the exit the islanders went their separate ways

once kordell made breakfast she decided to take it upstairs so she can have a chat with leah and jana

the girl sat down and gotten comfortable

"we had a thousands conversations up here" jana said as she started eating her breakfast

"you know how rare it is for a trio? a bestfriend trio to be in the final four?" leah said

"and to last the entire time oh my gosh" joy said while she ate her waffles

"were definitely going to be soul sisters for life you know what I mean?" jana said

"for life and forever" joy and leah said together

"like you guys are gonna be my god parents for my kids, you guys are gonna be bridesmaids at my wedding, i already see it you know what i mean? im just.. oh my gosh I cannot thank you guys enough" jana said

"ima miss the conversations we always had just me and you two in the makeup room, the times we were there crying to eachother in this villa, even tho I listened to you two argue alot I'm still happy that we made it to the final four together you two were the only ones that never judged me when I was quiet" joy said

"oh my gosh when everyone had a problem with you being quiet I'm so glad that your so talkative now cause you proved them wrong and you don't take shit from nobody" leah said

leah let out a deep breath with her fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns on her thigh

"I just wanted to say... thank you joy for always sticking up for me no matter what happened in this villa you always had my back" leah said softly

joy tilted her head with a small smile playing on her lips

"girl of course you didn't even have to thank me that's what real friends do" joy said as she continued to eat her breakfast while leah shook her head

"no seriously every time someone came for me you were there when I was doubting myself you reminded me of who I was even when I didn't believe in myself you still did I don't think I would've made it this far without you" leah said

joy reached out and squeezed leah's hand

"you would've but I wasn't about to let you go through all this alone I saw how genuine you were from day one and I wasn't gonna let anyone walk all over you besides we came in here for love but real friendships? that's rare in this villa" joy said

leah blinked away the tears welling in her eyes and let out a small laugh

"we really did make it through all the madness huh?" leah said

"barely but yeah" joy said

leah leaned her head against joy's shoulder and jana leaned her's against her other shoulder letting the warmth of their friendship settle between them

"no matter what happens after this I hope we stay like this" jana said

"oh y'all stuck with me now villa or not we're locked in for life" joy said

leah and jana smiled feeling lighter than they had in weeks

for the first time they realized that no matter what happened with the guys they were leaving this villa with something even more valuable

"I know I have kordell but if I didn't I would've been happy that I was just leaving here with these two" joy said pointing at leah and jana who were sitting beside her smiling

"if there's one thing I've learned in this villa it's that having your girls is more important than any of these boys" leah said to the camera

"period cause the way we've had to stick up for eachother? I feel like we've been fighting for our lives in here!" joy said

"nah for real and let's talk about how joy has been the real mvp always defending us like this girl had your back every single time someone tried you" jana said pointing at joy

"no seriously that's what i was saying earlier joy you were always there you were like my personal bodyguard in this villa" leah said which made joy laugh

"you know i do what i gotta do! I wasn't about to let y'all get played, disrespected, or lied to not on my watch!" joy said as she ran her fingers through her hair

"not on joy's watch!" jana burst out laughing

"exactly! and that's why i love you guys we came in here for love but I feel like we're leaving with something even better" leah said looking at both jana and joy

"don't make me emotional in the beach hut!" joy said as she pretended to wipe a tear

"nah cause this friendship is top-tier" jana said as she pretended to wipe an imaginary tear too

joy wrapped her arms around leah and jana

"locked in for life babes!" joy said

"locked in!" jana and leah smiled wrapping their arms around joy's lap before the three burst into giggles

joy wrapped her arms around leah and jana who pulled her in for a hug

once the girls let go and smiled at eachother jana randomly started dancing

joy and leah joined her doing random dance moves they could think of

joy giggled and started doing one of those mc hammer dances which made jana and leah join her doing the same

"and then you gotta hit the.." leah said then put her arm out poking her back in and out

"ayee" joy hyped as her and jana joined in aswell doing the same move as leah

the girls burst out laughing after then hugged again until they heard a phone ring

"oh my gosh" joy said immediately letting go of the two girls in front of her

"I just got a text!" miguel shouted

"oh!" kordell and kenny shouted

"leah and miguel it's time for your final date please get ready to leave the villa #FastLove #QualityTime" miguel read off his phone

the girls immediately ran to the makeup room to help leah get ready

"im so happy!" joy said

"we're so excited!" jana said

leah looked at herself in the mirror with her cyan colored top and cyan colored short skirt

"that looks fire" jana said

"it looks so good on your skin" jana said

jana and joy made their way downstairs to kenny and kordell while miguel stood there infront of the stairs

leah came running down with a big smile on her face while everyone clapped

when leah and miguel left joy and kordell and kenny and jana went their separate ways

the morning sun bathed the villa in a soft golden glow as joy and kordell sat on the outdoor sofa with their legs tucked beneath them as they faced each other

the villa was quiet but the two of them were already lost in their own little world

their hands clapped together in rhythm with fingers intertwining and slapping against each other as they played miss mary mack

"miss mary mack, mack, mack, all dressed in black, black, black-"

joy giggled as kordell tried to keep up with his brows furrowing in concentration

"wait, wait, slow down!" kordell laughed messing up the sequence and grabbing her hands before she could finish the next line

"you're terrible at this" joy teased with her eyes shining with amusement

"that's cause you're going too fast! run it back I got it this time" kordell protested adjusting his grip on her hands

"oh so now you wanna be serious?" joy said

"I been serious you just tryna embarrass me" kordell said grinning

joy let out a laugh and restarted the game this time going a little slower to give him a chance

their hands clapped together in perfect sync the sound echoing lightly in the peaceful morning air

kordell stuck his tongue out slightly in concentration determined not to mess up again

by the time they got through the whole rhyme joy threw her hands up in victory

"okayyy, you did it!" joy said

kordell smirked leaning back into the sofa

"told you I got it I just needed a warm-up" kordell said

joy rolled her eyes playfully but before she could respond kordell grabbed her hands again and pulled her closer

"what?" joy asked smiling

"you look real cute when you laugh" kordell said with his voice softer now

joy felt her cheeks warm as she leaned into him resting her head against his shoulder

kordell kissed the top of her head letting out a content sigh as they sat there in the quiet enjoying their last morning in the villa together

joy continued to sit there until she gasped seeing nicole and kendall coming near the villa in the water in a small yacht

"oh my gosh look" joy gasped pointing over at the water

"that's so dope what the fuck" kordell said

joy and kordell immediately made their way to the entrance door with jana and kenny

they clapped while nicole and kendall made their way to the entrance

"welcome home!" jana said

"it was lonely without you guys" kenny said

"oh I missed you guys" nicole said

joy went to hug kendall then she hugged nicole who wrapped her arms around her

joy and jana took nicole to a sofa and sat down so they can talk about her date

"okay you guys ready? the first part we went parasailing" nicole said

"so the whole date was really good like i felt good about it but we were talking and kendall was like i have something to tell you" nicole said

the villa's producers had gone all out for their final date and joy couldn't stop smiling as she took in the setup

"a drive-in movie? this is so cute" joy said glancing at kordell with excitement

kordell grinned squeezing her hand

kordell motioned toward the car a sleek white convertible with a blanket and pillows spread across the backseat

as soon as they got comfortable the screen lit up and the words tonight's feature presentation scrolled across in classic retro style

a tray of snacks sat between them filled with buttery popcorn, chocolate, and a pair of small glass cups of champagne with striped straws

joy reached for a piece of chocolate unwrapping it with a soft hum of approval

"what we watching" joy asked popping the candy into her mouth

kordell draped an arm around her shoulders pulling her in

"I hope is a rom-com cause I know you love em" kordell said

joy turned to him surprised

"you remember?" joy said

"of course I pay attention girl" kordell said

as the movie Paris blues started joy snuggled closer resting her head against his chest

his heartbeat was steady, strong, and she felt completely at peace in his arms

they laughed at the funny scenes, whispered jokes about the cheesy dialogue, and shared bites of popcorn in between

every now and then kordell would press a soft kiss to her temple or stroke his fingers along her arm and each time joy felt herself falling even deeper for him

halfway through the movie kordell shifted sitting up a little

joy blinked up at him confused

"what's wrong?" joy asked

kordell took a deep breath his usual confidence dimmed by a rare nervousness

his fingers played with the hem of his shirt as he turned to face her fully

"nothing's wrong I just... I been thinking about this for a while now" kordell exhaled and met her gaze

joy sat up too giving him her full attention

"thinking about what?" joy said

kordell reached for her hands lacing their fingers together

"us" kordell said

joy's heart skipped

"what about us?" joy said

kordell glanced away for a second as if trying to find the right words then looked back at her with his eyes soft serious

"I didn't come here expecting to find something real I was just tryna vibe, have fun, you know? but then you came along and man joy you messed up my whole plan" kordell gave a small chuckle shaking his head

"oh did I?" joy laughed squeezing his hands

"yeah you did you make me feel different like when I'm with you I don't gotta put on a front I can just be me" kordell admitted smiling

he paused with his thumb brushing gently over her knuckles

"and I don't want this to stop when we leave here I don't want you to be just some girl I met on a show I want you to be my girl for real" kordell said

joy's breath caught in her throat

she stared at him with her eyes wide and her lips parted as his words sank in

kordell's grip on her hands tightened slightly

"joy will you be my girlfriend?" kordell said

tears welled in joy's eyes before she could stop them

she blinked rapidly but a few slipped free rolling down her cheeks

kordell's face dropped in panic

"wait you crying? I ain't mean to make you cry baby-" kordell said as he reached up cupping her face

joy let out a soft laugh shaking her head as more tears fell

"no no they're happy tears" joy said

kordell let out a relieved breath

"so that's a yes?" kordell said

joy bit her lip nodding quickly before throwing her arms around his neck

"yes kordell of course yes" joy whispered against his shoulder

kordell let out a low chuckle wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her into his lap

"you scared me for a second" kordell murmured against her neck pressing a lingering kiss there

joy pulled back slightly cupping his face between her hands

"I'm just... I can't believe this is real I've been falling for you this whole time and now-" joy admitted with her voice shaky with emotion

kordell cut her off with a kiss slow and deep with his hands cradling her face as if she were something precious

when he pulled away he rested his forehead against hers smiling

"ain't no 'now.' we been real joy" kordell said

joy nodded with another tear slipping free

kordell caught it with his thumb wiping it away before pressing another kiss to her lips

they stayed like that for a long moment, the movie playing in the background, but neither of them paying attention anymore

this was their moment, their night, their beginning

joy sighed happily tucking herself against his chest as kordell wrapped his arms around her

"best date ever" joy murmured

kordell chuckled resting his chin atop her head

"yeah and just the first of many" kordell agreed

and as they sat there wrapped up in each other the stars shining down on them joy knew this was only the beginning of something truly special

halfway through the movie that the got back to joy reached for another handful of popcorn when her fingers brushed against something tucked beneath the tray

she frowned and pulled it out a closed envelope with her name written on it in familiar delicate handwriting

her breath hitched

kordell noticed her pause

"what's that?" kordell said

joy stared at the envelope with her fingers trembling slightly

"it's... from my mom" joy said as her voice was barely above a whisper

kordell sat up giving her his full attention

"open it baby" kordell said

joy swallowed hard and carefully tore open the envelope unfolding the letter inside

as her eyes scanned the words her lips parted slightly and almost immediately tears welled up again

I cannot even put into words how proud I am of you. Watching you grow, seeing you shine, and now making it all the way to the final I am beyond happy for you. You have always been my light, and seeing the love and happiness in your eyes with kordell warms my heart.

a soft sob escaped joy's lips as she clutched the letter to her chest with her shoulders shaking

kordell immediately pulled her into his arms with his hand rubbing gentle circles on her back

"I just... I miss her so much" joy said

kordell held her tighter rocking her slightly

kordell smiled taking the letter from her hands and folding it neatly before tucking it back into the envelope

joy looked up at him with her eyes still glassy but filled with something deeper love, gratitude, certainty

she leaned in and kissed him slow and sweet pouring every emotion into it

after a hour of their date they made their way back to the villa

they held eachother's hand and walked right into the entrance seeing the others already there but jana and kenny

but then that's when they seen jana and kenny walking up behind them

"aww hi guys" joy said

"welcome back!" nicole said

"I missed you guys!" leah said

they all made their way to the fire pit explaining their dates

"we had a drive in and it was so cute my mom even snuck a letter in" joy said

"aww stop we went to a tree where a lot of letters from our family members were hanging like kenny's dad" jana said

the islanders all gasped before they stood up and cheered for joy and kordell

after a few minutes of talking about dates they made their way upstairs to the room and makeup room

it was time for bed and they'll be leaving the villa tomorrow night

after joy finished taking her makeup off and putting her sleep clothes on she went to the bedroom seeing everyone already there

she yawned and looked down at kordell who wasn't beside her she looked to her left and seen him running on each bed cheering before doing a backflip on the last one

"last day! I don't understand! it's the fucking last day here!" kordell cheered

"kordell please" joy chuckled before laying right back down

"it was the best times it was the worse times and we made it to the end" kordell said

"hell yeah" miguel said

"I love you kordell" jana chuckled

everyone clapped their hands together while they continued to sit there in bed while kordell stood there

that's when they stood to jump around the beds but joy and leah who continued to lay down

kordell jumped on joy and his bed which made her cheer while just laying there

everyone then started having a pillow fight that was started by jana

after cheering they all went their separate ways the girls went to the makeup room and the boys continued to stay in the room

once they all noticed it was raining in the villa joy immediately gasped

"you guys what the fuck this is actually wild" nicole said to the guys who were at the balcony

"this is crazy" joy said

"it's never rained" kenny said

"I love this tho this is majestic as fuck" nicole said

"I was already dancing in it" kordell said

after looking at the rain the girls made their way back into the makeup room

"last day and it's raining" joy chuckled sitting at her station

"no really" nicole said

"I'm gonna miss getting ready together so much" leah said

"I'm trying to enjoy this moment right now but it's just like aww" jana said

"I'm gonna even miss joy and jana taking like kind of like a long time" nicole said

"hey!" jana chuckled but then a phone rung which made joy's jaw drop

"who's phone?" joy said

"what the fuck who's phone?" nicole said

"mine I got a text" leah said and shouted

"she got a text!" nicole shouted which made leah look down at her phone then gasped

"girls it's time for some R and R ahead of tonight's finale please get ready to leave the villa #GirlsDayOut #PamperParty" leah read off her phone

the girls all started screaming in excitement after leah finished

"we're gonna get champagne and pampered, uh, uh back it up aye!" nicole cheered then danced

"we got a text!" leah shouted while her and the girls made their way to the balcony

"what?" the boys all said in sync looking up from the kitchen to the balcony

"yeah" joy said

"please get ready to leave the villa #GirlsDayOut #PamperParty" leah read once again

the girls then started cheering jumping up and down once again

"we're gonna go get pampered!" jana shouted

"yo what? y'all leaving?" kendall said

"bye" the girls said waving their hands

"what? now? I'm making you breakfast" miguel shouted

"joy ima eat your breakfast if you go" kordell said

joy waved the boy off before the girls made it back into the makeup room getting ready in casual clothes

joy just put on a SOLERSUN women's solid color lapel long sleeves wide legs elegant sexy commuting business casual jumpsuit

she walked out the villa with the girls excitedly before waving at kordell

once they made it to the spa which was beautiful just for them they sat at the two couches outside seeing four mimosas on the table

the girls all took their glass cups before putting it in the air

"cheers to friendship" joy said

"cheers" the other girls said

they drunk out their cups and sat there until it was time for them to get their messages

the sun cast a golden glow over the villa's outdoor spa area, the sound of water trickling from a nearby fountain adding to the serene atmosphere

joy leaned back in her plush lounge chair sighing in pure relaxation as a masseuse worked gentle pressure into her calves

she and leah were both wrapped in fluffy white robes, their feet propped up as they enjoyed the luxury of their last day in paradise

while nicole and jana were busy getting their back messages in another side

"this is heaven" leah murmured with her eyes closed as she took a slow sip of her mimosa

"right? I could get used to this" joy chuckled lifting her own glass

the two clinked their drinks together giggling before taking a sip

the bubbly citrus flavor was refreshing, the perfect complement to the warm breeze drifting through the open-air spa

leah turned her head slightly with a soft smile playing on her lips as she looked at joy

"I still can't believe we made it like girl we survived the villa you and kordell actually made it to the final" leah said shaking her head

joy let out a small laugh running a hand through her curls

"I know... it still feels unreal we've been through so much and I'm just happy we're still standing strong" joy said

leah sighed happily taking another sip before setting her glass down

"I'm so proud of you you guys had some tough moments but the way you and kordell bounced back? that's real the connection was always there and I love that you never gave up on each other" leah said

joy's heart warmed at leah's words

it was true her journey with kordell hadn't been easy

there had been doubts, tests, and even moments where she wasn't sure they'd make it

but through it all they had fought for each other and now they were stronger than ever

"I appreciate that and honestly I feel the same way about you and miguel" joy said sincerely

joy nudged leah playfully

"like girl don't think I didn't see y'all all cuddled up last night you two are adorable" joy said

joy's smile softened

"I really think we could have something special outside of here" leah said

joy reached for her hand squeezing it

leah squeezed back with her eyes shining

they shared a look one full of understanding of happiness of the bond they had formed through the ups and downs of their love island journey

they both burst into laughter the sound carrying through the spa as they soaked in the final moments of their love island journey together

after getting their messages the girls found their way back in their robes at the same spot they sat when they arrived

joy, leah, jana, and nicole lounged across two couches still wrapped in their soft white robes with their mimosas sitting half-empty on the table between them

the scent of lavender and eucalyptus lingered in the air the perfect backdrop for their last moments together before the final

for a while none of them spoke

they just sat there letting the calmness of the moment settle over them

but then leah let out a deep breath shaking her head in disbelief

"we really made it" leah said

joy smiled softly hugging a throw pillow against her chest

"I know It still doesn't feel real" joy said

jana wiped at her eyes before the tears could even fully form

"I feel so emotional right now like, we all started this journey not knowing what was gonna happen and now look at us we're in the final" jana said

nicole let out a small shaky laugh blinking away tears as well

"and not just that... we all found someone we genuinely care about we won no matter what happens tomorrow" nicole said as she looked around at them

leah nodded swallowing the lump in her throat

"I'm just so proud of us we've been through so much the drama, the heartbreak, the moments where we thought it was over but we never gave up and we never turned on each other we stuck together" leah said

that was all it took for the emotions to hit in full force

joy sniffled as a tear slid down her cheek quickly wiping it away

"I swear I wouldn't have made it through without y'all every time I was doubting myself or crying over kordell or just needing someone to talk to... y'all were there

jana reached for joy's hand and squeezed it tightly

"I can't wait for us to look back on this years from now laughing about all the crazy stuff we went through but most of all I can't wait to keep making memories with y'all outside of here" jana sniffled with her voice thick with emotion

they all nodded with fresh tears falling as they pulled each other into a tight group hug

the four of them stayed there holding onto each other knowing that no matter what happened in the final they had already won something greater than a title they had won a bond that would last far beyond the villa

making it back to the villa it had gotten already dark and the girls were upstairs getting ready

joy was on the urge of crying again cause after the final they were gonna be going home

jana went downstairs first to kenny while joy was still busy putting in her dress

her dress she decided to match with kordell which was pink, he didn't know her dress color but she knew his since his was a pink suit

when it was joy's turn she slowly walked down the stairs with her heels clapping she slowly walked through the decorated villa

she put her hands together nervously while she walked towards the fire pit seeing the boys in suits and jana on kenny's lap

kordell stood there with a smile on his face and it immediately went wide once she seen his girl walking towards him

"she looks so pretty" jana said

"we're matching" joy said

"look at us" kordell said and immediately pulled joy into a hug

joy wrapped her arms around him while he picked her up from the ground

"wow joy" kendall said

"is that how you do? you clean up nice?" miguel said

joy laughed while her and kordell made it back to the firepit

"hell yeah!" joy said as she sat down beside kordell who put his arm around her shoulder

"your killing it in that pink I ain't gonna lie killing it" miguel said making joy smile

"thank you" joy said

"I'm just in shock right now this is so much beauty I can't handle it" kordell said

kendall then stood up and went towards the heart shaped wall waiting for nicole

nicole came out in a cyan colored dress hugging kendall which made joy smile and clap for both of them

"nicole is so pretty" joy said

"oh you guys look so nice!" nicole said once her and kendall approached the firepit

"you do too" joy said as kendall and nicole sat down

"oh im so filled with joy right now" nicole said which made joy gasp then laugh and so did the other islanders

"I'm filled with joy too nicole" joy said

after nicole and kendall sat down miguel stood up and went towards the same heart shaped wall waiting for leah

"I'm bout to cry" joy said fanning herself with her hand making kendall laugh

"no not right now" kordell said and immediately pull joy into his chest

miguel smiled once he seen leah approaching him in a red dress that joy picked out for her

"she looks good don't she?" kenny said once he seen miguel and leah walking towards them

"awww" joy said

"everyone looks so cute" leah said

"you look bomb I can literally eat you right now" joy said which made everyone gasp

"joy please" leah scoffed and her and miguel sat down beside kendall and nicole

"you guys we clean up good" nicole said

"we really do" miguel said

the islanders then stood walking towards their four tables that was set up for them

they took their glass cups that had their names on them and listened to kendall do a speech until they cheered

"champagne!" the islanders all cheered

they drunk out their cups after they started dancing together

kordell spun joy around and she immediately wrapped her arms around them like they were slow dancing

after they all finished dancing and kissing they all sat down at their tables nervously

"joy are you ready? your getting married" leah said

"no we're getting married" joy said

first who went up and did their vows were jana and kenny

then after it was leah and miguel's and joy loved their vows

after leah and miguel, kendall and nicole went up and once they finished everyone cheered for them then it was finally kordell and joy's turn

joy stood up with kordell nervously while they walked towards the red heart shape on the ground

"let's go koy! joydell" nicole shouted making joy smile at her

the night air was warm carrying a soft breeze that rustled the flowers and lights surrounding the grand finale setup

twinkling fairy lights and candles cast a romantic glow over the villa but the centerpiece of the night was the large red heart on the ground where the final couples stood and sat ready to declare their feelings

joy's hands trembled slightly as she held onto kordell's with her heart racing in her chest

the other islanders sat around them watching with bright smiles and teary eyes cheering them on

she could hear them clapping and gasping but at this moment it was just her and kordell

he gave her hands a reassuring squeeze flashing that same charming grin that had melted her from day one

"you ready?" kordell murmured holding the black paper in his hand

joy nodded blinking back tears

"more than ever" joy said

kordell went first taking a deep breath before looking deep into her eyes he really didn't need to read the paper

kordell reached up to wipe it away with his touch so gentle it made her heart ache

the other islanders erupted into soft cheers and "awws," but joy barely heard them

all she could see was kordell standing in front of her giving her his whole heart

joy sniffled gathering herself before starting her vows

"kordell when I first walked into this villa I had no idea what to expect I didn't know if I would find love, if I would connect with someone, or if I'd even make it this far but the moment I met you everything changed you came into my life like a whirlwind bold, confident, stubborn as hell but also kind, thoughtful, and real you challenged me, you comforted me, and most importantly, you made me believe in love again

"that was so beautiful" kendall said

"thank you" joy smiled through her tears walking back to her and kordell's table

joy sat down and once kordell did the same he pulled her chair closer to his and smashed his lips onto her's

"there she is!" kendall shouted which made them pull away and see what they were talking about

ariana was walking in with a smile on her face waving at them

the islanders all cheered and clapped for the blonde who walked closer to them

"all of you guys look so amazing" ariana said

"you look good too oh my gosh" joy said as her and kordell stood up with the other islanders

"oh my gosh hi everyone" ariana said

"hi gorgeous" jana said

"hey!" joy said

"hi islanders" ariana said standing on top of the red heart

"hi!" the islanders said in sync sitting down

"congratulations on making it to the Love Island USA Finale!" ariana said

the islanders all clapped and cheered loudly

"it's been an unforgettable summer filled with makeups, breakups, friendships, relationships, and most importantly love we've witnessed genuine connections and more tears than ever before at one point or another you all got quite the appetite sometimes craving just an appetizer" ariana said

joy and leah scoffed then giggled putting their eyes back on ariana who continued

"and other times a full-three course meal one thing i think we can all agree on this season was naws - ty!" ariana said

the islanders are erupted in laughter and cheers clapping their hands

"tonight we will be crowning the winners of love island usa 2024" ariana said

"the couple stands to win a massive $100,000 dollars cash prize but before i announce the winners i would like you all to join me at the fire pit for one last time" ariana said

joy laughed before she made her way to the firepit with the others while ariana was infront of them

joy sat on kordell's lap once they made it all to the firepit pit

"so how's everyone feeling tonight?" ariana said as she stayed seated at the firepit pit aswell

the islanders stood with ariana and cheered excitedly and nervously following her

they all stood on red heart shapes with their couple as ariana stood infront of them

"islanders we are about to find out who america has chosen as the winners of love island usa 2024, that couple stands to win $100,000 dollars" ariana said

joy held onto kordell's hand nervously looking up at him then smiling

"jana and kenny, joy and kordell, leah and miguel, and nicole and kendall good luck" ariana said

joy and kordell looked at eachother with smiles before he bought her hand up and kissed it

"are you nervous?" joy mouthed to him which made him shrug his shoulders

the couple then put their eyes back on ariana who was standing there with a smile on her face

"I can now reveal that the couple in four place is... nicole and kendall" ariana said

the islanders clapped for nicole and kendall who turned and hugged eachother

"you found eachother and you found love congratulations you guys can grab a drink" ariana said

the islanders continued to cheer and clap for nicole and kendall who walked off the heart

"let's go!" miguel cheered while clapping his hands together

"we love you guys!" leah cheered while clapping her hands together

"let's go guys!" nicole cheered while walking away with kendall

"I can now reveal that the couple in third place is.." ariana said then paused

"ppg back on top?" leah said

joy and leah and jana tilted their heads down hitting a pose

the three boys they were beside laughed and smiled at the three girls

"jana and kenny" ariana said

joy's jaw dropped and she looked leah before putting her eyes on jana and kenny who kissed

"huh? what do you mean?" leah said

"there's no way!" joy said

joy and leah then looked at kordell and miguel who put their pointer finger together

"you both have put your hearts on your sleeve and your journey feels like it's just the beginning" ariana said

the islanders and clapped and cheered for jana and kendall who made their way towards the table where nicole and kendall were with their cups

"I hope it's leah she deserves it" joy whispered to kordell who nodded his head

joy turned to leah and made a heart with her hand which made leah do the same back

"so joy and kordell and leah and miguel has chosen you as the final two couples" ariana said

"that's fucking mad that's so mad" miguel said

"why?" leah scoffed

"literally why?" joy said

"we have followed every step of your relationships over the last six weeks and now the waiting is finally over" ariana said

joy fanned herself and kordell joined in fanning her aswell

she was super nervous she wanted leah and miguel to win but deep down she actually wanted jana and kenny but they came in 3rd place

"this is crazy" kordell said

"what the hell" leah said

"the winners of love island usa 2024 are..." ariana said

"oh mi gosh" joy said with her jamaican accent coming fully out

joy then looked at leah who pointed at her and joy immediately pointed at her

"JOY AND KORDELL!" ariana screamed

joy's heart dropped and she stood there frozen until kordell swooped her up from the ground and hugged her while the other islanders screamed for them

"congratulations!" ariana smiled widely while clapping her hands together for her favorite couple

joy started to sob while kordell spun her around in the hug

joy didn't let go of kordell until they fell right on the heart on the ground which made him and her laugh

that's when the islanders all looked up in the sky seeing fire works

jana immediately went towards joy and kordell and joined in on their hug

"you did it girl!" jana said

ariana even started sobbing while fanning herself to stop her from crying

after joy and kordell pulled apart the other islanders all came towards them

the boys hyped up kordell who took off his suit jacket and threw on the ground

the girls all pulled joy in for a group hug while she wiped the tears off her face

"we love you jojo!" nicole said

after the girls let go of joy and the islanders cheered for their friends victory joy found her way back to kordell wrapping her hands around his neck

tears welled up in her eyes again as she nodded

"kordell this is our moment" joy said

without another word kordell leaned in capturing her lips in the most passionate heartfelt kiss they had ever shared

the world faded around them the screaming, the clapping, the flashing lights it was just them

his hands gripped her waist pulling her close while her fingers tangled in his hair deepening the kiss

the moment stretched on filled with love with triumph with the unspoken promise that this wasn't just a showmance this was real

as they pulled apart both breathless and smiling joy giggled wiping away her happy tears

"alright guys congratulations but we have some more business to attend to" ariana said

"oh god" joy exhaled then smiled

"electric!" kordell said making the islanders and joy laugh

joy then pinched him playfully which made him hiss

"leah and miguel congratulations on being our runners-up america obviously saw something really beautiful in you guys too" ariana said

"I feel like this has been like a mad journey and she made this whole experience enjoyable and I'm mad grateful for her for it" miguel said looking down at leah

"I'm proud of y'all" kordell said

"what about for you leah" ariana said

"I don't know I'm honored I'm fucking honored" leah said

"leah and miguel congratulations on being our runners-up you can enjoy some champagne" ariana said

"to the party!" kendall shouted from the table

leah and miguel immediately made their way towards the others while joy and kordell stayed at the same spot

"joy and kordell throughout your time here in the villa your relationship has been put to the test and today is no different" ariana said standing in the middle heart while joy stood on the left heart and kordell stood on the right heart

"oh god yes" joy said

"with $100,000 up for grabs it's now time to find out what this experience has really been about love or money?" ariana said

joy swallowed the lump in her throat then sighed loudly

"in my hands I have two envelopes one of them contains the $100,000 dollar prize and the other contains absolutely nothing whoever chooses the envelope that contains $100,000 wins all the money" ariana said

joy leaned forward then looked at kordell who was already looking at her from his heart

"that person must then choose whether to keep the money or share it if the decision is to share then you'll each take home $50,000 dollars if the decision is to keep it then the other person goes home with nothing" ariana said

joy heart was beating like hell she was so nervous

"so who's gonna pick first?" ariana said

"would you like to do the honors?" kordell said leaning forward looking at joy

"yes" joy sighed while nodding her head

"pick wisely" ariana said moving the orange purple heart envelopes towards joy

joy grabbed one and went back to her heart while the other islanders cheered her on

"so this one's for you kordell" ariana said giving kordell the last envelope

"thank you" kordell said

"okay joy please open your envelope and reveal what's inside" ariana said

joy held up her envelope and slowly took out what was inside it and it showed $0 which made her smile widely cause that's what she was going for

"it's zero dollars guys" joy smiled

"that's okay!" jana said

then kordell held up his envelope and slowly slid what was inside out and it said $100,000

kordell jaw dropped and he turned acting like he was gonna run away but then stopped

"I'm just playing" kordell said making the islanders and joy laugh

"100,000 dollars so kordell this is the moment where we find out if your here for love or money" ariana said

joy frowned and looked at kordell he had an unreadable look on his face

"me and joy been through a whole lot you know a whole roller coaster of love it's alot of ups and downs trials and tribulations and I couldn't ask for a greater experience than to be here in this villa with her so... you know it's only right so duh! I'm gonna split that hoe!" kordell said then held up the envelope

the islanders immediately erupted in cheers and applause

joy smiled widely and stepped off her heart running onto kordell's and jumping on him wrapping her legs around his waist

"congratulations!" ariana said

the islanders all ran towards joy and kordell joining in on their hug

"joy and kordell you both won a massive $50,000 dollar prize, america chose you as the winning couple and you've proven them right because you were really here for all of the right lessons" ariana said once the islanders let go

"thank you" joy smiled

"thank you all for giving us such an incredible summer I love you guys so much" ariana said

everyone cheered and hugged ariana while they continued to scream loudly

ariana then made her way towards the exit while the islanders continued to cheer for her

once ariana finally made it out everyone took off their heels and suit jackets and made their way towards the pool

the islanders all jumped inside the pool in their fancy clothes

joy grabbed kordell's hand tightly and then they both jumped inside the pool

the fireworks then continued to pop in the sky which made joy look up in the pool with a smile on her face

then right there in the middle of the chaos kordell kissed her slow, deep, and full of everything they had been through together

the islanders around them cheered "okaaaay! get it winners!"

joy giggled against kordell's lips

and as the celebration continued under the stars joy knew one thing for certain she hadn't just found love on love island
