joy sat beside miguel and leah at a sofa while they were cuddled up

"poor harrison" joy said

"not feel bad but i think ima miss that guy he was actually really really funny" miguel said

"he was actually a really nice guy hothead with a nice soul" miguel said

joy went quiet while miguel finished making leah slowly turn her head towards him

joy clapped playfully while miguel cheered with his hands up making leah laugh

"you two piss me off" leah laughed

"and miguel you still need to pick something else to call her other than darling" joy said making leah nod her head

after a second of laughing joy face dropped once she stared at miguel and leah making out

"okay no now you guys are pushing it.." joy said before standing up from the sofa

leah and miguel laughed staring at the girl who walked away

joy then tried to make her way towards a different sofa where kenny and jana were but she peeped they were kissing aswell

"okay! why the hell is everyone making out? where the hell is kordell why can't I get kisses?" joy shouted making all her fellow islanders look at her laughing

she looked around the villa until her eyes stopped on kordell laying there at a sofa hiding behind a pillow

"kordell don't even! I see you" joy said pointing towards him

she started making her way towards the sofa making him laugh taking the pillow away from his face revealing himself with a smile attached to his face

joy smiled widely and jumped on him before he started kissing all over her face

after a few minutes of being around the villa joy finally was now upstairs in the makeup room with the other girls getting ready for bed

"caine went home tonight.." jana said while she sat there at her station

"I know.." sierra said sadly

"aww" joy said while she took off her makeup

"It sucks to see somebody going home but I am happy harrison picked me im excited we're gonna see if his a good cuddler tonight" sierra said

joy continued to wipe her face off while some of the other girls left the makeup room only leaving her with daniela and nicole

"I've never had a guy that like actually wants to listen" daniela said

"same isn't that sad?" nicole said

"yeah" daniela said

"for us? but also good for us" nicole said

"i agree!" joy and daniela said in sync

"he just makes me laugh" nicole said

"definitely!" joy said while playfully dabbing up daniela

"oh my gosh dani please" joy said

joy just blushed before she got right in her pink pajama robe

"goodnight baby I love you girl!" daniela said while they made their way out the makeup room

"goodnight I love you too" joy said while she blew a kiss at daniela before they both went into the shared room seeing everyone

joy walked towards her and kordell's bed until she seen kordell laying there on his back with his head against the head board sleep with a dental floss pick

"what the hell?" joy snorted once she seen rob try and slowly take the pick out his mouth

"there's no way he fell asleep like.. that's a joke" nicole said on her and kendall's bed

rob slowly successfully took the pick out which made kordell wake up immediately

and everyone in the room bursted out laughing once he opened his eyes

joy giggled before she got in the bed with him making him turn around with his front facing her back wrapping his arms around her

"goodnight kordeezy" joy mumbled with her eyes closed

"goodnight jojo" kordell said

"ew" joy said to the little nickname before dozing completely off

"goodmorning islanders!" aaron said

"morning bitches! time to rise and shine" kaylor said while exiting out the room

kordell sat up right next to joy on the bed while he squinted his eyes

joy kissed him right on the cheek before she stood up from bed walking right inside the makeup room where the other girls were already in

she went into the bathroom washing her face waking herself fully up

when she walked out that's when nicole said something as she sat at her station

"restaurant opened a tiny bit last night" nicole said

"oh!" kaylor dragged out

"you guys are really on your guys is own planet and I love it a lot" leah said

"im lost" joy said before she started laughing

"girl bye" nicole laughed

"how are you jana?" daniela said

"im good with kenny" jana said

the other girls started laughing with her before they got to doing their makeup and putting on their bikinis

joy put on something basic which was a brown bikini set she also put her hair in a ponytail

joy then walked out the makeup room stepping outside about to walk down the steps but kordell stopped her while coming up the steps

"heyyy" joy said excitedly

"come on I got sum at soul ties for us" kordell said waving the girl over to turn around

"what is it?.. you tryna scare me?" joy said giving kordell a playful look

"man come on" kordell said snatching her hand up pulling them towards the soul ties section

joy smiled seeing two plates filled with breakfast on the daybed

"awww- wait don't tell me you cooked up something new" joy said once she noticed he made scrambled eggs and waffles

"hell yeah I know yo ass was getting tired of the avocado toast and hushbrowns I kept making" kordell said making joy snap her fingers

"okay you ate that one thing kordell" joy said while she continued to snap her fingers

joy sat right on the daybed while kordell sat beside her picking up the plate

"okay so what's the deal? did you actually make these or did you bribe one of the producers to get a kitchen staff?" joy said while poking through the eggs

"nah all me baby top chef status" kordell said

"hmm... they smell like confidence but look like regret" joy said sniffing dramatically

"you act like scrambled eggs are rocket science just taste it already" kordell laughed

joy scooped a forkful of eggs and slowly put it in her mouth

she chewed thoughtfully trying to keep a straight face but her expression said it all

"okay these eggs might have beef with me" joy mumbled

"wow dawg your the first person to disrespect my eggs like that I'm hurt" kordell said

"your eggs taste like you had a fight with the stove and the stove won but no it just needs like more maybe.. seasoning?" joy said making kordell nod his head while laughing

"ight comedian ass what about the waffles then? I bet those are fire" kordell said

joy cut into the waffle and took a bite

she paused for a second trying to keep him guessing then nodded approvingly

"mmm okay I'll give you this these waffles are hittin like almost restaurant level" joy said

"almost? girl that's five-star quality right there you eating a masterpiece" kordell said

"relax picasso they're good but not that good you still need to apologize for the eggs" joy said jokingly

"nah the eggs build character they teach patience and resilience" kordell said

"more like they teach you to carry antacids" joy said

they both laughed and joy poured some syrup on her waffles while kordell helped himself to more eggs completely unbothered by her jokes

"you just jealous cause deep down you know I'm a catch eggs and all" kordell said

"a catch? please your more like a returned item" joy said

"yeah well ight you keep putting me back in your cart don't you?" kordell said

"oh kordell please it must be a glitch in the system" joy said

kordell laughed which made joy smile widely

they sit in comfortable silence for a moment munching on their breakfast that kordell made

until kordell felt like breaking the silence

"you know if you squint just a little I kinda look like michael B. jordan" kordell said making joy stop chewing while looking at him

"boy don't start while im eating this food" joy said making kordell laugh

"well shit you better appreciate this breakfast" kordell said

"you mean mess up eggs?" joy said

kordell threw a napkin at her and she laughed dodging it

"but I appreciate it tho even if you almost tried to poison me" joy said

"that's my love language man questionable cooking" kordell chuckled

"questionable eggs" joy said before she laughed

"didn't know I was eating with a eggs expert my bad jordon ramsay" kordell said

"yeah okay okay you look really cute today" kordell said making the girl blush

after finishing breakfast the two love birds went their separate ways going to their islanders

joy was about to be all towards where nicole and daniela were chatting with kaylor but instead she went to rob who was sitting on one of the bean bags

"sup joy" rob said once he seen the girl approaching him

"hey rob!" joy said sitting on the other bean bag beside him

"how are you?" rob said

"im really okay now how bout you?" joy said giving the boy a smile

"that's really great hearing ya know since you had a rough time up in this villa" rob said

"mhm how bout you?" joy said

"im great" rob said

"how's it going with dani? you two look so cute together" joy said

"thanks! we're basically the villa's power couple now ya know romeo and juliet but without the tragic ending.. I mean hopefully" rob said playfully making joy chuckle

"rob please romeo and juliet is crazy" joy said

"seriously tho it's great to see you so happy joy you and kordell just make me laugh" rob said making joy look at him in awe

"aw thank you rob" joy said before she leaned in to hug him and he hugged her right back

"im glad you didn't let the whole villa drama get to you" rob said

"only a tiny bit since you know I was literally going at it with everyone but I think is cause I just wanted my man back and I was tryna make it seem like I didn't" joy said then chuckled

"and you got him back and I love that for you" rob said

"I swear this villa feels like a circus sometimes we're just out here making it up as we go" joy said

"for real at this point they should give us awards—'Best Fake Drama,' 'Most Naps Taken,' and 'Best at Arguing Over Nothing.'" rob said

"these awards are killing me" joy said

"and joy wins 'Funniest Girl in the Villa.' hands down" rob said making joy laugh

"thank you thank you! I'd like to dedicate this honor to rob and his overly-apologetic soul and to aaron for always choosing sleep over everything else" joy said sarcastically pretending to accept the award

rob clapped dramatically and they laughed until they were breathless

"oh shit I forgot! I'm tryna help aaron set up a date in the villa for kaylor so he can ask her to be his girlfriend and i was wondering if you can help us" rob said making joy's face soften

"hell yeah! why not?" joy said

rob nodded his head and then dabbed her up making her laugh

after the sun went completely down joy was now upstairs in the makeup room with the other girls

"so guys how are we feeling bout tonight?" sierra said

"I feel great because I like somebody and that's so crazy to me" daniela said

"oh girl same" joy said

joy was the first one to finish getting dressed she put on a haute front cut out high low ruffled hem dress with a pair of heels and also curled her hair

she was rushing cause of the plan rob told her about aaron and him tryna set up a date

joy sneaked out the makeup room and quickly walked down the steps with the two boys already struggling to move one of the white benches

"just put it behind the stairs" joy chuckled staring at the two boys who were panicking

"joy we asked for help! not for you to boss us around" rob said

"i got heals on.. im sorry im just here to add ideas" joy said

the two boys just waved her off before grabbing two bean bags to set it at the small table set

"I'll get the flowers!" joy said

joy made her way towards the flower bushes and just started picking out random pink flowers

rob came near her with a vase he found near the kitchen and gave it to her before running back to aaron

joy put the flowers inside and then went towards the table that was set up perfectly putting it on it

she smiled and clapped her hands before walking towards the two boys

"were actually really good at this" aaron said

"we are" rob said

"let me see the food and then write a poem but the poem I can do in the bedroom" aaron said while they made their way towards the kitchen

"okay" rob said

"let's see here" aaron said once they fully made it to the kitchen

"okay what do you want us to do?" rob said while joy stood next to him with her hands on her hips

"just thinking how to make pasta.. it's olive oil" aaron said opening a drawer

"i can make it" joy said raising her hand

"the knives are gone" rob said before looking in the other side of the kitchen

"parmesan oh shit and cheese! but I ain't gonna put that in" aaron said while he continued to look throw the drawer

"no we have to is gonna go with it" joy said

joy helped get the ingredients out and set it on the counter

she made sure to put her hair in her ponytail so it didn't get all over the stuff

that's when she started cutting up the tomatoes while aaron and rob stood beside her

"I probably won't eat anything because I'll be too nervous" aaron said

"is okay it be like that that" joy said as she continued cutting

"yeah totally" rob said

"how you feeling right now with you and daniela?" aaron said

"daniela?" rob said

"duh!" joy said

"pretty good i enjoy being around her we have fun i like laughing with her but I do like.." rob said then paused

"oh i was about to say their was a but coming like fuck" aaron laughed

"right there wasn't a but earlier rob.." joy said while scratching her cheek

"im just not sure about like how it would go like on the outside I do feel like we're in very different places like in life" rob said

"what do you mean?" joy said

"I don't know I kinda go back and forth on it but" rob said then shrugged while putting a pot full of water on the stove helping joy

"do you think she likes you more than you like her?" aaron said

"she definitely does she always talks about him" joy said

"um yeah probably but i do like her it's like the fact of the matter is like I love I really do love spending time with her like I have fun like im having fun but yeah I guess is just weird having a conversation about it at the very least" rob said

joy wasn't barley listening she was too busy trying to cook up the pasta for aaron and kaylor

"I think I would speak to her about it" aaron said

after joy was done making the pasta she made aaron and rob try it and they approved it

"it's fucking good" rob said while nodding his head

"so I'll take it upstairs with the wine and you have to run inside you can get changed into outfit" aaron said

"what's the outfit?" joy chuckled while she took a lit bit of pasta and put it in her mouth

"suit top, boxers, boots" rob said

"the love heart boxers" aaron said

"yeah" rob said while nodding his head

"with the boots and then you just bring the food up" aaron said

"done" rob said

"fuck!" aaron said

"what?" joy and rob said in sync

"what am I going to talk about?" aaron said

"y'all ima go upstairs I don't wanna make it suspicious" joy said

joy smiled then waved before making her way upstairs sneaking right back in the makeup room

"your girl is happy" jana said spinning around in her white dress

"joy where did you go?" leah chuckled once she seen the girl sit at her station

"the bathroom" joy said before scratching her cheek

leah just nodded before it was time for everyone to make their way downstairs

once the girls all walked down the steps the boys were already cheering for them

joy smiled widely wrapping her arms around kordell's neck

"hey beautiful" kordell said

joy smiled before kissing him on the lips and then pulling away

everyone made their way to the table that held their drinks and they cheered in sync before drinking

joy kept eyeing rob was drinking faster basically letting him know it was time

she then looked away and looked at everyone who was talking

after rob was done finishing his drink he set the cup down immediately and started walking away backwards

"damn rob" kordell said once he peeped the boy who made his exit

joy laughed before she noticed kaylor and aaron disappeared

"his asking kaylor to be his girlfriend" kordell said to leah

"really" leah said making joy nod her head

"mhm" joy said

everyone then turned once they seen rob in the clothes he mention to joy earlier with two plates of the pasta she made in his hand

"yes yes yes!" kordell whispered putting his hand in the air hyping up rob

miguel stood infront of joy and kordell dancing with two blue small umbrella caps in his hand

"that's so cute" joy said putting her hands on her mouth

"it is" kordell said put his arm around joy's shoulders with a big smile on his face

"went off without a hitch" rob said approaching them at the table after he finished giving kaylor and aaron their food

"ima cry" joy said fanning herself making kordell laugh

that's when everyone heard aaron cheering "lets go" which made them all cheer in excitement

"aww!" joy said clapping her hands looking up at the balcony staring at aaron and kaylor kissing

"ow! ow!" rob shouted

"catch me im bout to fall!" joy playfully said acting like she was about to fall back making kordell panic putting out his arms

"now you know damn well she's not about to fall in that mf dress kordell" jana said making joy laugh while she continued to stand on her feet

"stupid" joy said

"man" kordell said waving her off

after a few minutes kordell and joy sat on the bench near the fire pit with their legs tangled together under the warm glow of the flames

the stars above were twinkling but kordell's full attention was on joy who was giving him her signature raised-eyebrow look

"so kordell what's the plan? what are we even doing after this villa? or are you planning to ghost me the second we touch down at the airport?" joy started leaning back with a sly grin

kordell's eyes widened dramatically

"ghost you? girl please! I ain't tryin to end up on love island unseen bits lookin dumb" kordell said making joy laugh nudging his side

"mm hmm so what's the first move then?" joy said

kordell rubbed his hands together pretending to think deeply

"well first? I'm taking you to get some real food none of this villa salad and avocado toast nonsense we're getting wings extra hot" kordell said as joy gave him a playful side-eye

"so your idea of romance is... chicken wings?" joy said

"wings and you? that's love" kordell said leaning closer

joy tried to keep a straight face but a laugh slipped out

"your so ridiculous" joy said

"but you like it tho" kordell shot back confidently

joy rolled her eyes though the smile on her face betrayed her

"okay okay after the wings?" joy said

kordell softened with his voice dropping to a more serious tone

"after that... I'm coming to your place I gotta meet your family make sure they know I'm serious about you" kordell said while joy raised an eyebrow

"you think my aunties are just gonna welcome you with open arms? they're already planning the interrogation" joy said

"shit bring it on they can ask me whatever they want I'll even cook for em" kordell said puffing out his chest while joy burst out laughing

"now that I gotta see you in the kitchen messing up my auntie's pots" joy said

"I can boil water and my cereal game? unmatched" kordell said proudly crossing his arms

"this is why I like you stupid jokes and all" joy said

kordell's cocky expression melted into something soft almost shy

"for real though joy... I just wanna make this work whatever it takes if I gotta fly to your city every weekend I'll do it I don't want this to just be a villa thing" kordell said

joy's heart swelled and for a moment she could feel how serious he was under all the jokes

"I don't either kordell I want us too even with your weird obsession with chicken wings" joy whispered

kordell laughed and pulled her into his arms their foreheads touching

"it's not weird it's just... priorities" kordell said

joy chuckled wrapping her arms around him

"as long as I'm top priority" joy said

"always wings come second" kordell said softly pressing a kiss to her forehead

they both laughed tangled in each other and the kind of happiness that felt effortless

whatever came next they knew they'd face it together hot wings and all

kordell and joy stood up and they went back to the table where everyone was seeing jana and kenny coming from the dock

"I love this outfit I love your heels! is giving mom and dad on vacation" nicole said once they seen jana and kenny walking towards them

"kennyyyy" joy and leah dragged out mockingly

"we had some time on the dock" kenny said

"hey! psa psa we changed the name of the dock" jana shouted to everyone

"not doomsday dock?" kendall said

"it's now the dock of dreams cause I've been dreaming of him asking for us to be closed off and then he asked if we can be closed off" jana told everyone

everyone immediately started screaming and cheering in excitement especially joy and leah

"what is it!?" aaron shouted from the balcony beside kaylor

"they're closed off!" nicole said

"jana and kenny are closed off!" leah said pointing near the two

"lets go!" aaron cheered

"yeah!" kaylor cheered

joy clapped her hands still screaming in excitement right next to leah

the two girls stood up and immediately both held each others hands and jumped and spun in excitement

"joy and leah" jana chuckled at her two friends who stopped

"and kaylor and aaron just became boyfriend and girlfriend" joy said pointing near the balcony

"aw congratulations! congratulations to us yeah!" jana said to kaylor and aaron at the balcony

"we love love!" aaron cheered from the balcony

"we're also getting married by the way so.." jana said playfully

joy laughed before clapping her hands while the others cheered

"nah relax relax" jana said immediately shaking her head while laughing at everyone who was cheering

after the others went their separate ways joy remained at the table taking a picture of jana and kenny

"ohhhh!" leah said in awe while sitting on miguel's lap
