Chapter 16: The Swarm

A day later, Kiasii wakes up in the morning in her condominium. She stumbles out of her bed and changes her clothes. The blinds automatically open in the room, letting the sunlight in. Kiasii looks through the news on a screen in the air, then checks out several websites. She sees an article about how she won this year's Mayhem so she smiles. Maka bursts into the room.

“I heard you were up.” Maka grins.

“Knock with a tail before entering, dummy. What if I had no clothes?” Kaisii looks embarrassed.

“Sorry, and it's nothing I haven’t seen before.” Maka smiles.

“Pervert.” Kaisii throws her pillow at Maka. Maka quickly deflects it with a tail.

“That was unnecessary,” Maka says and then starts whipping his tails at her.

“Incoming call from Sid,” Tada announces.

Sid’s face appears, wearing a half-red and half-white mask.

“Am I interrupting something?” Sid asks.

“No, just the problems of being a pet owner.” Kiasii sighs.

“I AM NOT A PET, I’m a full-fledged reaper now.” Maka flexes his tails.

“That you are kiddo, more of a rookie reaper though. However, the times you achieved in the trials were fantastic. Cin has had the best times but that’s just a Cin thing. We’ll see how you do on some missions. You’ll be a team with Kiasii of course.” Sid says.

“I can’t wait, what are we doing?” Maka asks.

“No missions today but I want you two to come to the Reaper hideout for a briefing. There is something on my mind that needs to be discussed in person.” Sid says.

“Aww, Sid. I wanted to take a week off for vacation. Are the Demi finally ready to attack us?” Kaisii rolls her eyes.

“Kiasii this is important, there have been problems happening on other planets. I’ve heard some stories about something truly evil, much worse than the Demi.” Sid explains.

“Got it, we’ll be there as soon as possible. Just going to grab a quick bite to eat then hoverboard over. Actually, I got an idea, can you tell Zuku to create a portal for me, is he at the hideout?” Kiasii asks.

“Zuku is away on Reaper business. He’s already been briefed and then I sent him to another planet with a distress signal happening.” Sid states.

“Well I could take a teleporter but they always make me feel weird after,” Kiasii says.

“No rush Kiasii, but be here in two or three hours. You must still be tired after all the Mayhem fights.” Sid notes.

“It was exhausting, I swear normal Reaper work is easier. Anything else you need to tell me?” Kiasii asks.

“Nope that’s it, I’ll see you soon,” Sid says.

“Got it, boss.” Kiasii nods her head and ends the call.

“Alright let’s see what I have in the fridge. Might not have much been out of this city for a while.” Kiasii says.

Maka grins thinking about food and they start walking towards the kitchen. Suddenly the room starts to get darker even though the blinds were open. This was weird because the day just started. At first, they think it’s a cloud but the darkness remains. So they both walk back to the glass windows and look at the sky. A large black and purple sphere starts to block out the sun. The buildings around Kiasii start to get covered in darkness. It looks like a giant meteor is falling towards the city of Boe. Sirens below in the city start to blare. Kiasii quickly pops up a screen to find out what’s happening.

“Emergency Alert. An unknown object is approaching the city of Boe. Please head to the emergency shelter located nearest to your location. I repeat…” the News reporter robot says.

Kiasii starts to flip through pages on a screen. Kiasii starts to see images of the object and it looked like this thing was more than just a meteor. It looked like the thing was alive, some new type of undiscovered creature. It was big enough to be the size of a large stadium, but it could travel between worlds. What was its objective? Kiasii didn’t know but she knew this was an urgent situation.

“This is bad Maka, let’s prepare ourselves just in case,” Kiasii says and Maka nods his head.

Kiasii quickly starts to run to her weapons room and looks for gear to equip. Maka runs to glass windows and watches a terrifying scene. The new unknown object crashes into multiple buildings close to Kiasii’s condo in Complex Centre. Maka feels the whole ground vibrate and watches the unknown object destroy a building completely. That building falls backward into another building creating an explosion while destroying a whole sector in the city of Boe. Chaos ensues on the street level and screams can be heard from the distance. Maka feels another shockwave of energy that breaks some of the glass.

“Maka we need to go now. Hurry.” Kiasii screams and comes running back into the room holding the BaW sword.

“Incoming call from Sid,” Tada announces.

“Kiasii are you okay?” Sid asks.

“We're fine, there was an explosion nearby. I’ve just got some weapons ready.” Kiasii states.

“Good, this could be the thing I mentioned about earlier. I’m emailing details to your systems and sending Reaper backup. G is closest to your location. He should be there soon, stay in your condo, I’ll contact you again soon.” Sid says and then disconnects the call.

Kiasii looks at the data that had just been sent. It looks like this unknown object was in fact an alien. The condo starts to rumble and shake once more. Random objects fall and crash in the kitchen. Kiasii decides to call Giz.

“Hey Giz, I’m sending you some details about an alien that crashed into the Complex Centre building. Anything you can let me know about it?” Kiasii asks.

“Oh yes, Sid has sent me details already. I have been researching this new type of lifeform.” Giz says.

“So what galaxy is it from? What does it want?” Kiasii asks.

“I don’t know. If I knew then I would have called you.” Giz says.

“But doc, you're like the smartest Griff I know. I need answers. Something feels wrong.” Kiasii says.

“I’ll let you know when I find out. If you come into contact with the creature, can you take some live samples? If I could get my hands on some of its living samples then I could find out its strengths and weakness. I wish I knew more and could help you.” Giz explains.

“It’s fine. I’m ready for anything, even war. Maka’s got my back too.” Kiasii looks at Maka with determination in her eyes.

“Kiasii if even I don’t know what this thing is then it must be dangerous. Keep yourself safe and don’t make any rash decisions.” Giz states.

“Got it doc. You keep yourself safe too, who knows what could happen. I’ll be in touch.” Kiasii ends the call.

Suddenly the window gets smashed and a creature crashes through the window. The creature is an arachnid with multiple legs and sharp fangs. It quickly scans the room, it notices Kiasii but focuses on attacking Maka first. Maka quickly turns his tails into katanas to fight the creature, they clash back and forth, then Kiasii sees an opportunity to throw her two spinning stars. They slice through the creature and tear it to shreds.

“Let me grab a quick sample from its body for Giz,” Kiasii says.

Kiasii approaches its dead twitching body and puts some of its yellow blood into a capsule. A drone flies near her and picks up some of its remains. After collecting some samples the drone flies out of the broken glass on a mission to Giz’s lab. Several different arachnids smash through the glass and Maka starts to fight them once more. Kiasii fights with her spinning stars because the BaW sword is too big for the room. Kiasii decides to call Sid while fighting.

“Hey, Sid I’ve got a problem here,” Kiasii says as her spinning stars destroy one of the arachnids.

The arachnids keep smashing through the glass one by one. Maka kills a few with chainsaw tails.

“Looks like you got a big problem. Are they strong?” Sid grins.

“Not really, just a pain in the ass. My condo is ruined now but it’s my life or theirs.” Kiasii yells as she smashes a creature's head in.

“How about a new plan of action,” Sid suggests.

“What?” Kaisii and Maka both yell as they fight the arachnids.

“Escape out of the balcony. Then make it to the central square. Some of the reapers are fighting to protect an emergency shelter at that location. It should be safer there.” Sid says.

“Got it, boss,” Kiasii says as she fights fanatically.

“Good luck, contact me when you get to the central square,” Sid says.

Maka starts glowing with energy and cuts through the remaining arachnids with his chainsaw tails. Kiasii and Maka smash through the remaining glass, then view the surrounding area. Thousands of arachnids are climbing the nearest building towards their location. Kiasii turns on her hover boots and jumps across the air. Maka flies through the air toward her as well. Kiasii switches to gravity boots mode and her feet stick to the building. Maka uses his energy to balance himself on the building. They hang on the side of the building and run toward the ground. The swarm of arachnids eventually reaches Kaisii and Maka. Kiasii pulls out the BaW sword from behind her. The blade glistens in the sky, Kiasii swings and cuts through several of the swarm. Maka turns his tails into an imitation of the BaW sword, then starts cutting through the masses of arachnids as well. They stick to the building running downwards and slice through so many of the creatures. Bodies and limbs of these creatures fall to the floor but they keep coming.

A man in a black reaper cloak comes flying out of nowhere, he sees Kiasii fighting the swarm and smashes into the building. The man reveals two chain-linked sabers that could extend in length on either of his hands, he unleashes the chain sabers and they rip apart the arachnids, clearing a path for Kiasii. These chain-linked sabers were similar to the chain sword Kiasii used in the past but stronger and more durable. They could also extend farther and G was more skilled at manipulating them.

“G!!!” Kiasii shouts.

“Hey Kia, heard you needed some help.” G pulls off his hood to reveal his long brown hair and Caucasian face with blue eyes. There is a battle scar on his left eye.

“Thanks, G,” Kiasii shouts back and keeps fighting the swarm.

The three of them group together and start to slaughter the swarm. They work in unison, all three cutting the swarm with swords. They start to glow with energy each running down the building as the creatures keep coming. G throws his dual chain-linked sabers and they cut through the mob of creatures. Bodies and parts of these creatures go flying in all directions.

“Let’s do a combined attack, Maka,” Kiasii yells.

“I’ll clear a path for you, let’s make it to the ground.” G shouts.

Maka jumps on Kiasii’s shoulder. Maka’s tails wrap around the BaW sword, which increases its length. Maka starts to pour energy into Kiasii. G yells as he holds the front line, fighting the swarm of arachnids. Kiasii starts to surge with power, then slashes downwards with the BaW sword, using all of her strength. G quickly gets out of the way. The slash creates a shockwave that slices all the way to the ground of the building killing everything in its path. The swarm stops coming which seems mysterious.

“Where did they go?” Kiasii asks.

“Dunno, but that’s only the first wave. Let’s quickly get to the central square before the second wave comes.” G says.

“Good idea,” Kiasii says and then looks at Maka. Maka nods his head.

They run down the building and make it to street level. They scope the surrounding location. A large billboard seems to be smashed on the street level. There are also scattered cars and crashed spaceships on the street level. Screams can be heard in the distance. They look towards the direction of the central square a group of citizens seems to be running towards them about a mile away. A spaceship appears in the air in the distance, it is on fire and the operator can’t control the spaceship. It crashes into the ground and smashes into pieces. Parts of the spaceship fly in different directions, and some of them injure the group of people on the ground. An android comes running at them and is on fire. Several other creatures come running at them on fire. Kiasii and the group quickly attempt to help the survivors.

A massive tidal wave of water appears in the streets, it splashes through all the citizens that are on fire. It saves some of the citizens while others die from burn damage. There is a trail of water that appears in the sky and Reno is surfing it.

“RENO.” Kiasii yells.

“Just in time.” G grins. Reno surfs the wave of water close to them.

“Central Square is close to here. Sid told me to cover this area. Hurry forward Kiasii.” Reno shouts.

A shower of arachnid pods land near Kiasii, they unravel and attack. Kiasii and the group start to fight once more. Citizens scream and panic, running from the arachnids. Maka quickly fires energy blasts from his tails at the arachnids as he tries to save people that are panicking. A large rock appears in the sky and crashes near them. The rock suddenly starts moving, it is permanently on fire and grows a body similar to a colossus.

“I’ll handle this thing and cover your back. Get to the central square, quickly.” Reno yells.

Reno flies across the sky riding on a stream of water. The flaming Colossus shoots flames from its mouth at Reno, Reno unleashes a stream of water from his mouth. The flames clash with the water. The Colossus swings its massive rocky hands at Reno, who quickly dodges it on his stream of water. Reno surfs through the air, dodging the Colossus’s attacks. Pods of arachnids constantly land on the street level. Kiasii and the group keep fighting them on the street level. Slowly pushing forward. G starts to glow with energy, G rushes forward and starts spinning like a top with his two-chain linked sabers massacring the arachnids.

“Hey, that’s a good idea and I can do that too,” Maka shouts and then starts to mimic G. Maka spins in circles beside G while fighting the swarm.

Kiasii turns around to see Reno shooting waves of water from its mouth while surfing in circles around the Colossus. Kiasii charges her energy and then slashes downwards with her BaW sword. This creates a huge shockwave that travels on the ground and then cuts off the Colossus’s arm. Reno smiles and yells at Kiasii.

“Thanks for the help Kia, but I got this,” Reno shouts. Kiasii nods her head.

Reno summons an enormous water wall that pushes towards the Colossus, it crashes into the Colossus’s rocky body and sends him falling backward into a building behind him. This creates an explosion and shockwave.

Kiasii turns around and starts running towards Maka. Maka and G had cleared a path towards Central Square. Kiasii rushes towards them, swinging the BaW sword. She hacks and slashes through groups of arachnids. All three of them fight side by side. You can see a fire in Maka’s eyes as his tails morph between weapons. Maka explodes with energy and combines his tails into a 40-foot chainsaw. Maka slams his chainsaw tail toward the ground ripping the arachnids to shreds. Hundreds of arachnid pods land in the streets ahead of them. G starts to channel his energy, then combines his two chain-linked swords in one super cleaver chain sword. G dashes forward and clears the entire street by slashing with his super chain-linked sword. The weapon whips around cutting through limbs and pieces. Eventually, the group finishes off the remaining creatures. They see a large square with a fallen spaceship used as a barrier to block off the attacks, it is surrounded by barricades. There is a large building with an entrance to the emergency shelter. Androids and a robotic police force are behind a barricade while firing at arachnids trying to break the barricade. A group of Reaper bots are holding the front lines. The Police bots and Reaper bots were working together to hold back the swarm. There seems to be a steady flow of arachnids coming from the same direction.

“Incoming call from Sid.” Tada beeps. Kiasii answers the call.

“Good looks like you made it to the central square. Meet with any of the Boe robotic police force there and defend the position. We are working together with them. I got clearance from the government to do whatever was necessary to stop this situation from getting out of hand.” Sid states.

“This looks like war. Will we be able to handle them?” Kaisii asks Sid and looks worried.

“They will soon understand why Reapers are most feared in the galaxy. I’ve already recalled all the Reapers that were on missions. I’ve divided the city into sectors and assigned certain Reapers to different locations. Standby and await further orders.” Sid declares.

“Got it, boss.” Kaisii ends the call.

G runs over to the group of robotic police and starts talking to them, asking how he could help out the situation. Groups of survivors approach the central square from different directions. They are escorted to the emergency shelter building and will eventually be protected underground.

“Incoming call from Giz.” Tada beeps once more.

“Hey doc, got any info for me?” Kiasii asks.

“I’ve received some of the samples brought to me and I’m analyzing the data. On a microscopic level, it seems like the cells are always mutated and evolving. The arachnids are a vicious breed, they devour anything in their path but I think it also has something much worse. They all seem to be controlled by something similar to a hive mind. It might be connected to the object that crashed originally. The crash site isn’t too far from your location.” Giz explains.

“Any weaknesses?” Kaisii asks.

“I’m still analyzing the data, so I don’t know everything but the arachnids seem to be weak to fire. I’m not sure about the evolved forms.” Giz states.

“I saw something similar to a colossus earlier, but it was on fire. Reno was fighting it” Kiasii says.

“Send me the coordinates of that colossus’s last known location and I will send a drone to scan it,” Giz states.

“Got it doc, let me know if you find out anything else,” Kiasii mentions.

“Stay safe Kiasii. I’ll be in touch.” Giz ends the call.

Kaisii looks around the central square, she sees G talking to some of the guard robots. The ground starts to shake and rumble. Objects come crashing down from the skies, and debris from smashed buildings falls on the ground. The ground keeps rumbling as if there was an earthquake. Suddenly you hear a roar from the distance. Large flying hornet creatures attack the central square, and the androids fire their blasters at them. The place turns into a chaotic warzone. Kiasii looks forward and notices a giant monster charging toward them. Some form of extraterrestrial that she has never seen before. It roars in the sky and charges its head. Then it releases a beam of energy at Central Square.

“Look out,” Kiasii screams to the group.

Cin comes flying out of the air and absorbs the energy with his two war glaives. Cin lands on the central square near Kiasii and smashes into the ground.

“Hey Sisi, what happened to this peaceful planet? ” Cin laughs.

“CIN!” Kiasii runs up to hug him, and they quickly embrace.

“Nice sword you got there.” Cin sees the BaW sword on her back.

“I won Mayhem.” Kiasii grins.

“Would love to hear about it but we have to deal with that thing first.” Cin points to the monster.

“What should we do?” Kiasii asks.

The arachnids and alien hornets break through the barricade. They start ripping the robotic police guards to pieces.

“G, Kiasii, and Maka cover the ground. Clear a path towards that large creature. I’ll fight it head-on in the sky.” Cin shouts then starts to power up.

“Got it.” Everyone yells in unison.

Cin starts to radiate with energy. Then blasts off into the air, cutting through hordes of alien hornets. Cin looks like a shooting star and spins in circles with his war glaives. Cin slices through everything in his path in the air. On the ground, Kaisii cuts through arachnids. Maka turns his tail into a large chef’s cleaver, then cuts a group of them. G launches off some debris beside him then twirls through the air, slicing everything in a small radius with his chain sabers. The gigantic creature shoots beams of energy from its head, then swipes with its legs. Cin dodges everything while soaring into the air. Cin starts to bounce from building to building while attacking potential weak spots on the creature's limbs. Kaisii dashes forwards with Maka into the swarm of creatures, they get close to one of the legs of the gigantic creature. Maka powers up and transfers his energy to Kiasii. KIasii puts all of her energy into the BaW sword, then slices downwards creating a line of energy. It cuts through the creature's leg and he stumbles downwards crashing into a building. Cin sees this as an opportunity to attack, Cin starts glowing in the sky with power, as he unleashes overdrive mode. Cin teleports around slashing and attacking the legs causing it to tumble around once more. Cin spins in circles and cleanly cuts off its head, causing the whole body to collapse.

“Let’s go.” Kiasii cheers and keeps fighting the swarm of arachnids.

They feel another rumble on the ground, it feels like the whole city is shaking. There is a large shriek from the distance almost as if something felt the pain of a gigantic creature dying.

“Incoming call from Sid,” Tada says as Sid enters a cross-call with the group.

“G, I need you to go to sector seven. I’ll send details to your system.” Sid says.

“Got it, boss,” G says then he waves to Kiasii and the group. Then hurrays down an alleyway, off into the distance.

“Cin, I think the creatures are coming from the crash site. I want you to go examine it. I’ll send details to your system. It’s about two miles away from here.” Sid tells Cin.

“On it.” Cin flies off into the sky, attacking swarms of alien hornets on the way.

“What about me and Maka Sid?” Kiasii asks.

“Theirs an area around the crash site that I need you to examine, it will be close to Cin’s location. I’ll send you the coordinates to your systems. The collapsed building and the entire area around the crash site is mutating. Get some fresh samples in that location for Giz.” Sid says.

“Just received the coordinates and will make our way there,” Kiasii says.

“Kiasii, be careful. I’ve sealed off a large area around the crash site. All of the creatures are coming from that location. Whatever landed there seems to be evolving.” Sid states.

“Don’t worry, I’ve got Maka by my side.” Kaisii looks at Maka and grins.

“Call if you need help, I’ll send the closest Reaper to your location,” Sid says.

“Bye Sid, we’ll see you after we clean up this mess.” Kiasii ends the call.

Kaisii looks around at her surrounding, the casual work environment in Complex Centre has been replaced with vicious creatures and screams of terror. Behind her is the central square, a new army of Boe’s robotic forces arrived and were holding the square. They shoot a barrage of energy blasts as they fight a new swarm of alien hornets. Part of her wants to run back to the central square and help them out, but she must stay focused on the mission.

“Kiasii are you okay?” Maka asks.

“I’m fine, I’ve just never seen things this bad.” Kiasii declares.

“We’ll kill the thing that created this mess. Then go back to our ordinary lives. We still haven’t celebrated my transition to a Reaper. I wanted a party with all of my friends.” Maka starts to bounce around on his tails.

“We’ll celebrate soon Maka, now stay focused. I don’t know what is in store for us but we will fight it together. We're a team now and friends always have each other's backs.” Kiasii says.

“Got it, Kia,” Maka says with a stern face.

Another hundred arachnid pods fly out of the skies and crash into the ground. Kiasii and Maka fight their way through the streets. She hears a building crash in the distance. Dust and smoke start to cover the area around them. They take a turn behind an alleyway to avoid it. A group of arachnids swarms them once more after the dust clears. So they engage head-on working as a team. Maka unleashes barrages of energy cannon tail blasts, while Kiasii fights in the front with the legendary BaW sword. They make quick work of them and hurry forward. As they get closer to their destination, Kiasii starts to notice a weird substance growing on the building close to the crash site. The streets seem to be covered in it as well. Kaisii tries slashing the ground and it withers away but you hear a shriek in the distance. The earth starts to rumble and shake but nothing approaches them.

“The location is close, it's a mile in this direction,” Kiasii yells.

“I could go scout ahead?” Maka asks.

“No, stay close. We don’t know what awaits us. The crash site seems to be a mile or two in radius.” Kiasii says.

“Alright, I’m ready,” Maka says.

The ground starts to shift and move, almost like it was alive. Kiasii and Maka jump into the air to hover. They hear a large blast in the distance, and everything shakes. A large roar can be heard from the distance, then a mist enters the air.

“Let’s hurry, something must be happening ahead of us,” Kiasii shouts.

Maka and Kaisii start to glow with energy. They fly through the streets, all of the buildings are covered in a purple substance. The ground is covered in it as well, it starts to tremble and a tentacle grows upwards. Maka quickly turns his tails into chainsaws and slices through the tentacle. A mass of tentacles starts growing from different locations around them. Kaisii reacts quickly and cuts through them with large swings of the BaW sword. The tentacles keep growing out of the ground. Kiasii and Maka start to fly through the air. The tentacles start to chase them through the streets. Maka and Kiasii combine energy, then Kaisii swings once more creating a shockwave of energy that cuts down all the tentacles.

They look around and notice a large purple sphere in the distance. It is the size of a stadium and appears to be alive. It was the object that blocked out the sun earlier and the creation of the crash site. It must be the home of all these creatures.

“Let’s get closer and get some samples for Giz. Be on your guard.” Kiasii says to Maka.

Kiasii flies toward the ground and looks at the mutated building around her. It looks like this creature steals all of the energy from the planet and the things around it. Kiasii pulls out a capsule and throws it in the air. A drone appears out of the capsule, it starts flying around and taking samples. Kiasii and Maka start to fly toward the purple sphere. Eventually, they make it to the purple sphere, but it doesn’t look like theirs an entrance inside. It looks like a large purple spherical wall. It starts to tremble and shake, then an opening starts to appear. A large sludge titan emerges its body was the size of a colossal and steps out of the entrance, it starts to glow with power and then throws toxic sludge at Kiasii. Maka forms his tail into a giant shield and blocks the toxic sludge. Maka pushes his tail shield slowly downwards while blocking the incoming sludge. Maka transfers his energy into Kiasii’s body and then she jumps behind the shield with a downward slicing motion. She cuts the sludge titan in two parts, its body lands on the ground and then starts to regenerate. It touches the purple sphere and starts growing. It absorbs all of the energy around it.

“This is similar to something I’ve fought before but don’t know its weakness” Maka shouts to Kiasii.

“I hate fighting toxin and sludge creatures. How about we attack different parts of its body and look for a weak point.” Kiasii says.

The sludge titan grows to the size of a small building and keeps building mass. Maka and Kaisii take turns cutting it. They fly around and attack the titan then hover back in an attempt to find a weak spot. Then sludge starts spewing all around them, Maka hovers over Kiasii and blocks the toxins with a tail umbrella. The titan slams its gigantic hand downwards spewing sludge everywhere. The gooey hand smashes into Maka and knocks him backward toward the ground into a building. Kiasii screams and starts to slash the creation but its sludge just falls off from its body. The creation keeps growing by stealing energy and pieces from the purple sphere. It starts to glow with power, Maka enters overdrive mode and smashes out of the building he was knocked into. Maka throws a barrage of tail daggers and knives at the toxin creation, they explode on impact, and the sludge creation stumbles. Maka flies towards Kiasii and gives her his energy. They both enter overdrive and fly around, they take turns dashing in and attacking, then retreating. Maka uses several different tail weapons to attack mainly different swords. Maka turns his tail into a giant hammer and attempts to knock away its sludge. He smashes pieces of sludge off it but it just keeps regenerating and growing.

After an hour of fighting, the sludge titan starts to glow, and the purple sphere trembles. It surges the creation with evil alien energy. Kiasii starts to get low on energy, and the sludge titan knocks her toward the ground. She lands on the ground with an explosion. Kaisii stands up and shakes herself off. Kaisii looks up in the sky at Maka, who is still in overdrive mode. Maka is glowing and using a large claymore tail sword to fight the sludge creature. Every time he slices through it, the creation just rebuilds itself. Kiasii decides to call Sid for help.

“Sid were in trouble. Send some reapers here. Where’s Cin?”

“We lost contact with Cin when he arrived at the crash site. I’m sending other Reapers to your location now. Kiasii get out of there. Retreat now.” Sid says.

Kiasii dashes back toward Maka in an attempt to help him. The sludge creation throws its entire body on Maka and swallows him whole.

“No, MAKA,” Kiasii yells and then powers up in a rage. She can no longer see Maka, he is in the sludge titan somewhere. Kiasii slashes downwards multiple times at the sludge titan each time taking chunks of sludge of it. The creature walks back to the sphere and merges into it. The sludge titan disappears from view. Kiasii starts to slash at the purple sphere in an attempt to create an opening. Kiasii calms down and hovers closer to touch it. Kiasii puts her hand on the walls and it slowly sucks her in. Kiasii pulls her hand out quickly. The whole purple wall opens up like a mouth and then starts to suck in with a gust of wind. Kiasii gets pulled inside the purple sphere.
