Kai dropped me off near the side while he went to go park Robin in a secluded spot. I rushed over to William's office, afraid I had been late, but once I stepped inside he looked happier than ever, "Gold! Honey, let's get straight to the point since you don't have much time, $15,000 and a new car, crazy isn't it!?" He yelled excitedly as he saw me enter his office.

"What car?" I asked almost immediately. Who would be stupid enough to bid a car? I mean, how stupid would you be to disregard a source of transportation? People of the 21st century are something else.

"Lamborghini Murcielago SV, very high price and excellent condition. Worth the fight, no?" He mischievously smirked.

"That's insane!" I yelled in what sounded like a protest which made Williams face drop before I continued, "but that's so worth it!" I jumped excitedly as I ran towards the locker room to get ready.

After a little bit of warming up I slipped off my hoodie and strapped my mask onto my face when I heard the knock on the door, signalling for me to come out. I jumped up excitedly one last time before I rushed out to the ring.

I had made it just in time for the announcer to call my name, "And our undefeated nation wide champion, GOLD!"

I calmly climbed onto the ring trying to surpress my excitement. My opponent was a buff guy, I wouldn't be surprised if he had 200lbs of muscle on him, but like always, never judge a book by its cover.

The bell rung and immediately the guy lunged at me, jabbing me in the gut. I hunched over in pain which gave him the perfect chance to send a kick to my face, but I quickly grabbed his ankle and twisted and turned so I was now behind him. I took advantage of his unsteadiness and tripped his other leg which caused him to fall onto his stomach. I immediately took his arm and pinned him down, hoping he'd tap out before I might end up killing this guy.

Unfortunately, he took ahold of my hair with his other hand and pulled me to the ground, he immediately stood up and tried sending a kick to my face but I rolled over just in time, missing it by a centimeter. I stood back onto my feet and got back into my original fighting stance with the audience roaring chants.

He tried sending another hit to my cheek, but I grabbed his fist just in time which must've caught him off guard so I sent a right hook to his jaw, causing him to stumble back. I sent jab after jab, hook after hook, and I added in a couple of uppercuts while I was at it. He leaned back against the ropes and I took this as my chance to finally loosen him up a little more. I backed up a little for space, and before he could react, I jumped up and pushed my feet off of his chest which made me arch into a backflip. Once he was hunched over holding onto his chest, I tilted his head up to look at me and I rewarded him with a swing to the temple, leaving him unconscious.

The crowd was counting down as I wiped the blood off of my face. When they got down to one, the crowd boomed with more volume than before, so loud I couldn't hear the referee calling out that I had won. Once he let go of my wrist I hopped off and was met with another round of pats on my back and even a couple handshakes here and there.

I stumbled into the locker room and bent over the sink, I removed my hand from my stomach where he had punched, only to be met with a huge bruise that covered my whole side. I turned the handle for the shower and set up my clothes until it had turned warm. I stripped myself of my attire and let the warm water engulf my body and wash away my sweat. I was gentle with my bruise when I had brushed my hand over it but continued to bathe myself a little quicker this time.

That man, I could've possibly killed him. I could've possibly put him into a coma with how much force I put onto his temple. Do I regret it? No. Do I feel guilt? No. In this life you have to learn to not feel sympathetic towards your hurting opponents because they will take advantage of your kindness and use it against you. You could be saying 'yes' to all the wrong people and you wouldn't even know it because you were deceived by their affection. If you hurt, then you hurt. There's no 'what ifs' and no 'buts' there is only pain. We know what we're getting ourselves into, we know we are getting paid to risk our lives. We know all of this, we are not blinded by anything, you have to be blunt and straightforward which I admire about this illegal community. We don't have to lie to please others, the truth hurts but lying is even worse.

I slip into my gym shorts and hoodie before I slip on my running shoes as well. I pull my mask over my face once again for when I retrieve the car, since someone else might just show me to it instead of Williams. I rush over to his office with my duffel bag in hand and burst into his office without knocking.

I walk in to see him clinging chamaigne glasses with other men who are wearing other expensive looking suits. Their attention averts to me once I clear my throat and Williams immediately rushes over to me with a brief case in hand, "Gold, here honey, it's all there," I checked the money out of habit and closed it again once he continued, "And these as well." He set a pair of expensive looking car keys into my hand and I stood there gaping that I had really won a fucking car.

"I can't believe someone bid their fucking car," I breathed out.

"Me neither," and he broke into a fit of giggles which made me slightly chuckle.

"Miguel here is going to show you to it, unless you would like to stay for a drink or two," he asked me devilishly.

"Oh no Williams, I'm alright. Thank you for the offer, though I really must be going," I politely declined.

"Of course honey, you really do have a heart made out of gold, no pun intended," he chuckled lowly. I smiled at him and let Miguel lead the way towards the car. On our way out I sent Kai a text:

Me:

You have the keys to Robin, you guys can get going, I have business to discuss with Williams.

Kai:

You did good tonight princess.

Be home soon, don't be out too late

I shut my phone off and I couldn't help but smile at how he was concerned for me.

Or he could have simply just told you to be safe like any other friend would.

Sometimes, I just hate my conscience, like fuck you bitch.

Right back at you girl.

Ugh I feel like a psychopath talking to my conscience.

I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts when the metallic exterior of a beautiful Lamborghini Murcielago SV came into view. I immediately rushed over to it and hugged the hood of the car. I gave my escort a nod of acknowledgement before I slipped into the driver's seat and sped off to the nearest pizza parlor.

I pulled into the driveway and walked towards the door with two pizza boxes and my duffel bag in hand. I pushed the door open and couldn't contain my excitement, "I'm home!"

I heard my yell echo throughout the walls of the house until I heard what I had been waiting for, "Kitchen!"

I walked up to the boys and set the boxes down on the kitchen island and gave the boys a mischievous smile.

"Dia, you did good tonight. How's your side?" Blake asked nonchalantly.

"Good, did you know how much they were bidding today?" I asked as I took a slice from the box and began to eat it.

"No, why what'd you earn?" Liam asked curiously.

"Just $15,000," I replied looking at my nails. They let out a little hum of approval before I continued, "And a car for Liam." I looked up to the boys who all looked at me wide eyed with their jaws on the floor.

I felt a flutter of satisfaction spread throughout my body at their reactions. I loved doing things for people, especially things that they refuse to believe. I remember the first time I told my mom she didn't have to pay the bills for a month, and when she asked why, I told her I had paid for it already. She didn't believe me and called the companies herself, she was totally awestruck and looked at me like I was her savior or something. It had always made me happy to see the people I cared about happy so I just continued to do good deeds. I may not like most people but it doesn't mean I don't care.

"You- you what?" Liam breathed out.

I giggled excitedly but covered it with a serious face that I did not pull off, "Liam, let's go for a walk," I said trying to sound serious. I hooked onto his arm with Blake and Kai behind us as we walked towards the front. I quickly opened the front door and watched as Liam ran out to hug the hood.

"It's beautiful!" He yelled. He brushed his hand on the exterior and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Diamonds are you serious?" He approached me worried that it may be a joke. I dangled the keys from my fingers and put it in his hands. I watched as he jumped around in joy and slid into his new car.

"Who the fuck would bid a car?" Blake asked flabbergasted.

"I have no fucking idea dude," I replied back. It honestly did make me curious though, this person was willing to bid so much as his car. But since it's pretty expensive, I'm guessing that this person is also quite wealthy.

After watching Liam rush around and take in the vehicle we all went back inside and continued to eat the pizza. We all hummed in satisfaction as we tasted the deliciousness that stuffed our hungry mouths. The whole time with Liam wanting to be near me so he could repeatedly thank me over and over again for the gift.

"Diamonds that reminds me, why'd you give him the car? You could've kept it for yourself and plus we have a lot of other cars in store for each of us," the boys turned to me awaiting for my answer to Kai's question.

I let out a breathy chuckle while staring down at my pizza, "No car is more appreciated than one that is given to you," I simple stated before taking another bite of the sauciness.

"Preach," Blake said after he swallowed his bite. I giggled at his behaviour and I accidentally met gazes with Kai. Looks of admiration swam in those ocean eyes of his and I couldn't help but watch as his irises danced about my features. I quickly broke the gaze and continued to devour my slice while Liam and Blake continued to talk about a man who hadn't paid them for two months and how to torture him. It wasn't really a discussion for the table, but we weren't at a table, we were at an island.

Soon after watching a couple of movies in the living room I dozed off into a deep sleep and felt my body relax as the darkness took over my vision. Not a single negative thought crossed my mind as all of the happiness that swarmed my heart was now all that I could think about. I fell asleep content with myself and the others around me and I decided to sleep now or it may be too late.
