VAL'S POV
I went inside the house and walked straight upstairs to my room.
It was so silent, I wonder where this pair of mother and daughter went.
The moment I was in my room, I took a shower and wore my pajamas.
I didn't feel like having dinner at all, so I lay on my bed and went to sleep.

In the morning, after I finished wearing my uniform, I went downstairs to grab breakfast.
Unfortunately, this time, both Charlotte and Hayley were in the living room.
"Good morning," I said to them even though I knew they weren't going to respond.
"Miss, I made a sandwich for you. Here is the juice," Mari said the moment I sat down on the kitchen stool.
"Oh, mom, look who is here," Hayley said out loud, I guess it was for me to hear.
"Right, where were you yesterday?" Charlotte asked
"I bet she went whoring around" Hayley snickered.
Oh, please, I'm not like you guys. I just kept quiet and ignored them as I ate my sandwich.
"Bye Mari" I said to Mari as I stood up from the stool and went outside where my driver is parking.
"Good morning Mr Dart" I said as he opened the door for me and I went inside.
"Good morning miss" he said and went to the driver's seat before we set off to school.
After sometime we arrived at school and I got out of the car to see Everly waiting patiently for me.
When she saw me, she rushed to me and gave me a hug.
"You're suffocating me"
"Oh sorry, I just missed you" she said smiling.
"But you saw me yesterday Eve" I said as a matter of fact.
"Yeah but still...never mind let's go inside" she said and took my hand as we walked inside the school.
We went to our first lesson which was Biology then Maths after that it was time for lunch so we headed to the cafeteria.
We went to seat where we usually sat and ate our lunch.
After sometime the siren rang indicating that lunch time is over. Up until now I haven't seen Em, even where they usually sat, he was not there.
"What's your next lesson?" Eve asked me
"It's History, what about you?"
"Physics"
"Oh, let me get going then I have to take my History books from my locker which is on the 6th floor" I said ass I stood up from the chair.
"Okay, byee, see you after the lessons then" Eve said and I nodded and left to the 6th floor.
Just like always, there was silence in the 6th floor, it was as if there were no people around here. 'Anyways let me take what I'm here for' I thought and went to my locker, I opened it and looked for my history books.
Whilst I was busy looking through my books, I felt someone wrapping their hand on my waist, the moment I smelled the scent I knew who it was and my stomach was having stupid butterflies.
He turned me around so my back was against the locker, his hand still on my waist, the warmth of his touch spreading like a ripple.
"Hey " he said with his sexy and husky voice.
"Hi" I said shyly as he looked into my eyes with an intense gaze.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you," he whispered, his voice low and rough, sending shivers down my spine. What is he doing to me, why do I feel this way every time he is close to me? My heat is pumping so fast right now, I hope he can't hear it cause that will be embarrassing.
I opened my mouth to reply, but my breath caught when he dipped his head, his nose brushing softly against my neck. His scentâfresh and familiarâwrapped around me like a promise. I felt his lips hover, grazing my skin in a way that made my knees feel weak.
"I...I t....thought y..you didn't come to school" I trembled as his lips grazed my neck, I unconsciously tilted my head to the side to give him space.
"How could I not come when you told me to" he said while still kissing my neck. "You drive me crazy, you know that?" he murmured, his voice barely audible.
My hand instinctively found its way to his chest, the rapid thud of his heartbeat matching my own. "I... I didn't know," I whispered, my voice trembling.
He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, a soft smile curving his lips. "Now you do." he said and went back to kissing my neck.
"Em... I...h..have to go and attend" I said.
He removed his head from my neck and looked at me.
"Do you have to?' He asked.
"Of course, now let go of me" I said and turned around to my locker again trying to hide my face which I'm sure is as red as a tomato right now. I took my history books, closed the locker and ran before Em could stop me, I heard him laugh at my attempt to hide my face from him.
Right now I was standing outside our history class door. I know I'm kinda of late so I was trying to come up with excuses I could use when the teacher asks me why I'm late.
I took a deep breath then opened the door and went inside. The teacher was busy writing something on th eboard so thought I could use this time to seat down without him noticing me.
'Please don't see me, please don't see me, please don't see m..." I chanted in my head as I walked towards my seat.
"Miss De Luca, could you tell us why you're late in class?" damn I guess he already saw me so I turned around to look at him.
"Sir, I kind of had an upset stomach so I went to the bathroom that's why I'm late" I said and I heard some people snicker besides me. I know my excuse is weird but as long as I don't get detention, it's worth it.
"Okay, take you, seat," he said.
I sighed in relief and went to take a seat, which was near the window.
The lesson ended so fast and I went to my last one, which was chemistry and guess what Em and his friends were attending the same class as me.
