While Talia was busy trying to conquer the world, Oxen was also active in fulfilling his purpose to leave the place.
After entering the point, Oxen appeared in a beautiful garden. Even before Oxen could find anything about the place, he had gotten attacked and then fallen unconscious.
After Oxen regained his consciousness, he got the surprise of his life. The attackers were his own children, whereas, in reality, the Void beasts couldnât reproduce.
It wasnât the end as he got another shock of his life when he saw the appearance of his wife. His wife had the same features as Talia, his lover in the Void beast group, but this Talia didnât have three heads like the original one.
Oxen found out that he had become crazy for the past few days as he would run away from his house every day, and his sixteen children would have to bring him back after a lot of struggle.
Oxen knew he had to leave this world, despite having a blissful life with Talia, and his sixteen children, since he had a purpose when he entered the portal.
Time flew by.
Oxen finally found his purpose in this world. His intuition told him that if he fulfilled the goal, he would be able to leave this place and reach the rulerâs territory.
Oxenâs goal in this world was to create a sect with his family and make it to the top of the world since the sect master of the largest and mightiest sect here was Taliaâs father, and the sect master hated Oxen and his children.
It wasnât all, as Oxen had a limited time since he could sense danger coming closer to him with each passing day.
Oxen began the work of creating a sect with his family, but when it was only the first day of its opening, instead of getting a student, Oxen got his first trouble.
There was already a sect ten thousand miles away from where Oxen lived, so they didnât like when Oxen attempted to start his own sect.
âCome out! My master wants to see you!!!â
Oxen was resting in his house with his family when he heard an angry shout from the outside.
***
âWhat do you want?â One of the sons of Oxen asked the people shouting since he was outside.
âWho are you?â The man who had shouted asked Oxenâs son, with irritation evident on his face.
âI live here,â Oxenâs son responded.
âOh, so youâre Oxen,â A smile spread across the manâs face.
âNo, I am his son,â Oxenâs son replied and looked at the man as if he was an idiot. The man had come here and was calling for his father, but he didnât even know who his father was and how he looked.
âHmph, donât think much of yourself. We donât need to search about your father and your family,â The man didnât like the way, Oxenâs son looked at him and could guess what he was thinking.
Oxenâs son could sense that something was wrong. It was almost as if it was a forced conflict the man wanted at any cost.
âCall your father. My master wants to meet him,â The man then ordered Oxenâs son.
âNo need. I would meet your master,â Oxenâs son replied since he knew things werenât right, and the son didnât want to see his father in trouble.
âThud!â
âWhy so much nonsense? Just do what I told you,â The man suddenly kicked Oxenâs son, throwing him several meters. The man then sneered.
Oxen had just stepped out of the house, so he witnessed the man kicking one of his sons.
Oxenâs felt a surge of anger as to how he could let some person kick his son and not face retribution. Oxen charged at the man.
The man sneered, seeing the person who had just exited the house charging at him.
The sneer froze midway as when Oxen arrived close; the imposing pressure finally attacked the man.
Oxen didnât care about the reaction of the man. He picked the man up by the scruff of his neck and then broke the leg that had kicked his son and snapped it out, resulting in the man screaming in pain.
âWho sent you here?â Oxen coldly asked the man as the man screamed in pain while blood continuously poured out from his wound.
The man stopped screaming after he heard Oxenâs cold voice.
âMyâ¦my maâ¦masâ¦master wants to sâ¦see you,â With a struggle, the man was finally able to complete his sentence.
âPutâ¦put me dowâ¦down, or my masâ¦master will killâ¦kill you and your faâ¦family,â The man wasnât able to put his words in a straight sentence, but he didnât forget to threaten Oxen.
Oxenâs eyes turned further cold. Oxen had a calm personality in reality, so this kind of threat would never succeed in provoking Oxen, but Oxen couldnât be any more incorrect.
The anger was already present in Oxen due to his son. It suddenly burst open like a volcano after hearing the threat put by the man.
He couldnât control his grip and crushed the neck of the man.
The man thought that Oxen would leave him after hearing about the threat, but the poor man didnât even know how he died.
âAre you alright?â Oxen turned around and asked, looking at his son.
âWhy did I get so easily provoked?â At the same time, Oxen thought in his heart. He could sense that his personality was slowly changing while the world was forcing him toward a conflict.
Before killing the man, he had chances to make up with whoever that master was, but now that possibility has disappeared.
Oxen also didnât ask about the identity of the master in his anger, making him visible to the enemy while the enemy was invisible to him.
Thinking like this, Oxen couldnât help but frown.
âI am alright, father,â Oxenâs son hurriedly replied after seeing the frown on his fatherâs face.
Oxen didnât speak but only nodded. Oxen then looked up at the sky with a pondering look on his face.
Oxenâs son thought that his father was thinking about that supposed master, so he didnât disturb Oxen and returned to the house.
***
âFinally!â Lily mumbled in exhaustion as her training over the year finally came to an end.
