Terrence was shocked. He didn’t understand why Tristan would suddenly speak for Yvette when the latter had hated her so much in the past.

However, he reacted quickly and immediately said, “Alright! Got it! She’s my sister, and I’ll make sure to respect her now.”

Tristan only got up after that, and he asked, “What did you say about needing her to meet Jeremiah so that he would help you?”

Terrence was afraid of Tristan, so he told him everything about how he’d gone to see Jeremiah and what the latter had said a few days ago. Tristan silently listened to everything Terrence said, and was confused.

“Does Jeremiah know Yvette?”

Terrence hurriedly scurried away.

Quentin had already arrived at Tristan’s side in his neat–looking suit. “Why are you here at Empire Club? It’s been a while since you last went to Sternhow Club.”

Empire Club and Sternhow Club were both located in Tirion and belonged to Quentin.

“I was just in the area. Are you still working at this hour instead of being with your wife, Quentin?” Tristan was worried that Quentin would ask about Terrence, so he changed the topic.

Although he was on good terms with Quentin and Xavier, he’d never really knew Quentin too during these years. He always thought the man was hiding a lot from them. So, he figured it was better if Quentin didn’t

know too much about Terrence and Yvette.

“I did go back earlier. Since she’s pregnant, her temper is unstable,” Quentin said with a long face. Then, he saw Terrence running away and getting into a car.

When the car left, he took out his phone and called someone. Meanwhile, he said gently, “Since you’re pregnant, you should play nice. You don’t want me to send you back to Sternhow Club, right?”

After Quentin left, Tristan told Xavier everything that had happened that day. The latter had already Yeturned home. When he heard what Tristan said, he leaned back into his chair and looked cold.

“Why are you here?” She was curious when she saw him coming out. He followed her voice and walked to her. Then, he wrapped the coat around her shoulders.

Yvette had no one to vent her frustration. Thinking that he had lost his memories, she told him what Terrence had told her about Yara being with someone else long ago.

She didn’t mention Jeremiah at all; she only saw what happened with him as a misunderstanding. It was all in the past now.
