Chapter 392

Noah heard someone calling him and saw Malcolm when he turned around. He was confused and wondered who the latter was.

Meanwhile, Malcolm walked to him. “What’s wrong, Zac? Why are you ignoring me?”

Noah realized that Malcolm was Zachary’s friend and shot him a glance. impatiently. “Can I help you?”

Malcolm was stunned when he heard Noah’s childish voice. It was a huge difference from Zachary’s mature–sounding voice. “Zac, why do you sound so childish today?”

Noah was speechless and cursed at Malcolm in his mind.

“You kind of sound adorable when you talk like that.” Malcolm chuckled. Are you here to play with me? Let me take you somewhere fun. I know every single spot at Lane Mansion.‘

When Noah heard that, he thought it was weird. “What do you mean by that?”

“I’m Malcolm Lane, the only heir to the Lane family. Have you forgotten that?

Malcolm said proudly.

Noah thought about the name and quickly remembered who Malcolm was right away. Zachary had told him about Malcolm before, saying he was the son of Xavier’s cousin.

It finally clicked for Noah. He looked at the boy in front of him. Malcolm’s looks were decent, but he seemed a little silly.

“Oh. I remember now.” After saying that, he walked straight past Malcolm. ” If there’s nothing else, please don’t disturb me.”

Malcolm looked frustrated as he watched Noah walk away. He didn’t understand why “Zachary” was ignoring him and wondered if he’d done something wrong.

Unwilling to let it go, he caught up with Noah. “Zac, why don’t I let you play with the new toy plane my dad bought me?”

“No.” Noah only saw Malcolm as an obstacle standing in his way. He wanted to continue getting to know the Lane family more. “Stop following me, or I’ll beat you up,” he said threateningly.

Malcolm suddenly remembered something unpleasant from the past. He immediately stopped in his tracks and watched Noah leave. He returned unhappily and told Marlene everything that had happened.

Noah walked around the mansion the whole morning. He realized how huge and luxurious the place was. He secretly swore that he would build a house bigger than this when he grew up.

Since he was feeling weak, the driver took him back to where he’d come from. He didn’t know that Yvette had come over in a hurry at that moment. As though she were interrogating Shannon, she asked, “Where’s the boy?”

Since Shannon was in her 50s, she was exhausted after having a rough night. “Are you referring to Zac?”

When Yvette heard that, she realized that Shannon had mistaken Noah for Zachary. “Yes. Where is he now?”

Shannon thought it was weird that Kiki hadn’t shown up to find her son, but Yvette had.

Since she didn’t get a good sleep, she didn’t overthink it. Just as she was about to call for the maid, Noah arrived at the entrance himself.

When he saw Yvette, he was petrified. He’d never thought that she would see him. He hurriedly lowered his gaze and didn’t dare to say a word.

When Yvette saw Noah, she finally relaxed. She hurriedly approached him and left with him in her arms. She walked so fast that she didn’t notice the

weird look on Shannon’s face.

“Zachary and Yvette…” Shannon asked Mandy, “Didn’t you tell me that Kiki never had a child when she was abroad?”

The latter nodded. Suddenly, Shannon was wide awake. She figured Zachary was Yvette’s son instead of Kiki’s. “Get someone to follow Yvette. Then, look

into her relationship with Zac.”
