Chapter 390

Xavier finally stopped what he was doing. When Yvette fell back asleep, he immediately went to the bathroom to take a cold shower.

Meanwhile, the maid brought Noah to a luxurious child’s bedroom. After Shannon was done sending off the guests, she hurriedly looked for him.

“I’m sorry to have kept you waiting, Zac. Would you like to have something to eat?” she asked sincerely as she approached him.

He tugged on her shirt. “Can you stay here with me, Mrs. Lane? I’m scared.”

“Okay.” There was no way she would reject his request. She couldn’t help feeling overjoyed as she looked at the mini version of Xavier.

That night, Noah didn’t go easy on her at all. He would ask her to get him some water sometimes. Then, he would ask her to take him to the toilet.

She almost didn’t get any sleep at all. Seeing how patient she was, Noah was confused. He didn’t understand why she was being so cooperative.

He had seen her on the news and in interviews before. She had scolded and targeted celebrities before, and the netizens always scolded her too. No one liked her for being a fierce woman.

He looked out the window as the sky slowly got brighter. “I want to go out for a walk.”

“Sure. I’ll get your coat.” Then, she grabbed his coat for him. Since Jeremiah had always been weak, he couldn’t get too cold. However, when she returned with the coat, he had already left.

He kept walking in the snow and unknowingly arrived at where Xavier was staying.
