Xavier had no intention of doing that. He had solely brought Zachary here to make Yvette happy. He had never expected that she would barely speak to him now.

Noticing his silence, Zachary felt a sense of superiority. He was determined to get back at Xavier for the humiliation he had endured yesterday.

He had discovered Daphne’s second social media account while secretly searching for her personal information. She had shared this statement.

When he had read that, he had sympathized Yvette so much. Yvette and Xavier were a married couple, but because of Daphne’s words, Yvette had become a third party.

While Zachary was furious, Xavier appeared perplexed. He had no recollection of Daphne whatsoever. However, judging from the way Zacahry spoke, he didn’t seem to be lying.

“So are you saying that she wants to come between Yvvy and me?”

“Take your time to think about it. It’s pointless to explain it to you now since you don’t even remember it.”

Zachary had a sudden idea and said, “If you want me to share it with you, you’ll have to call me ‘Dad‘.”

Xavier’s handsome face darkened, but soon returned to its usual composure. “Are you sure you want me to do that?”

“Yeah.” Zachary looked at him expectantly.

Xavier took out his phone and quickly opened the text message page to confront Zachary. “I believe it’s time to inform Yvvy about your

expenses at the club.”

Upon hearing it, Zachary became anxious right away. Although he could explain, he was just a child, after all.

If Yvette found out that he had been to a place like that to spend money, she would definitely be furious. “I knew you had ulterior motives.”

Zachary’s fists clenched as Xavier lifted him from behind. “Do you still want me to call you ‘Dad‘ now?”

In the kitchen, Yvette had nearly finished cooking. She came out and instructed, “Zac, please ask Hannah to bring grandma down for dinner.”

Zachary broke free from Xavier’s grasp and went upstairs to inform Viola.

Claude noticed the striking similarities in the father–son duo’s behavior, which left him feeling uneasy. Meanwhile, Yvette remained oblivious and simply encouraged them, saying, “Eat more.”
