In the end, Yvette couldn’t get anything out of Marlene at all, and she wasn’t foolish enough to ask Shannon about it.

Yvette returned to her room and checked her phone. Claude had sent her a message. “Give me a call when you are free.”

She called him right away. He answered the call quickly and asked, “How have things been recently?”

“I’ve gotten a map of the place where Noah is being held. I’m waiting to sneak him out when I see him.”

“Let me know when you decide when you want to do it, I’m worried about you doing it alone,” he said.

Yvette knew what he meant. He was worried that they would get captured once more after leaving the

manor.

“Don’t worry. I’ll definitely look for you after I get out.” She was just worried that Claude and Xavier might fight head–on. Then, Xavier might start targeting him in the future.

“That’s good.” Claude paused for a moment and looked at the man next to him. The man looked barely

alive.

“I’ve done what you’ve asked me to do. Now, Andy knows better than anyone the kind of person Daphne is. You can make him tell Xavier the truth anytime or say anything that Daphne has to pay the price for.”

Claude was speechless when it came to Andy. The latter had escaped multiple times to look for Daphne. He had even managed to escape the previous day. But when he had found Daphne at the hospital, she had chased him away as though he were a madman.

As Yvette thought about it, her other phone started ringing.

“Please hold on,” she said to Claude. Then, she grabbed the other phone to have a look. Coincidentally, Daphne had sent her a photo.

In the photo, Daphne was holding a trophy for the best singer. Meanwhile, Xavier was standing near her. It turned out that he had left the house to see her.
