Chapter 193

It was the first time in history that Xavier’s bank account had been hacked. Mark hadn’t expected it, and he had been stunned for a long time after receiving the news at midnight.

“Have you found out who did it?” Xavier was only surprised for a split second, and he calmed down after a short while.

“Not yet.” Mark paused for a while and added, “It happened too quickly, and we weren’t prepared for it. When we finally learned about it, the money was gone.

He thought it was weird. The person who had hacked into Xavier’s bank account only took more than seven billion dollars.

He also wondered why the person hadn’t just hacked the bank itself when they were so bold and skilled. Since they had purposely hacked Xavier’s private account, they had obviously been targeting him.

It wouldn’t be that difficult to infiltrate a person’s account. The difficult part would be transferring the money out of there.

Meanwhile, Kiki woke up early and was prepared to send Zachary to kindergarten. However, when she opened the door, she realized he was still asleep. “Huh? What’s wrong with him today?”

Zachary had only slept at 4:00 am because he had spent a lot of effort trying to hack into Xavier’s private account. When he woke up, it was already 9:30 am. He frowned, looking like a mini version of Xavier.

“It looks like I’ve overslept.”

Zachary was punctual like Xavier. He had overslept for the first time in his life. He immediately washed up to head out.

Unexpectedly, Kiki was still at home, and she was purposely sitting on the couch and waiting for him. “It looks like you’re late today, kid.”

Zachary didn’t think he would be caught red–handed. Kiki would usually be at the office by now, and the driver would be the one who took him to school.

“Don’t you have to be at work today, Kiki?” He changed the subject.

When she heard what he said, she said in a melancholic tone, “Yeah, I’m meeting someone later.”

“Don’t tell me it’s Mr. Tristan,” Zachary said as he packed his bag.

Kiki was stunned, and she realized that he really was like an adult disguised as a child. “How did you know?”

“Kiki, will you marry Mr. Tristan?” Zachary suddenly asked when they were reaching the kindergarten’s

entrance.

Kiki was drinking water at that moment, and she almost spit out everything. “Why would I possibly do that? He’s a bad guy, and I’ll never marry him.”

Zachary felt at ease after hearing that. “That’s good. We’re here. See you.”

After she watched him get out of the car, she thought about what he had said and wondered what he meant by it.
