The crowd started criticizing Tristan. He looked upset and had no choice but to get in the car first.
At that moment, Zachary was hiding in a secluded corner of the classroom, but he could still see what was going on with Tristan.
He couldnât help feeling worried when he saw that Tristan wasnât leaving.
He couldnât believe how calculative, Tristan was to have come to the kindergarten. He didnât know that Tristan was thinking of him like an actual son; instead, he just thought Tristan had come for revenge.
Zachary didnât know what to do at that moment. After all, he could run, but he couldnât hide forever. Just
as he was lost in thought, he received a call on his watchâit was from Kiki.
He immediately answered it. âHello, Kiki.â
âWhere are you, you brat? Iâm at the kindergartenâs entrance, but I canât see you.â She was standing outside the kindergarten and scanning the area.
Zachary noticed that the scaryâlooking bodyguards had left once she had arrived. So, he ran out right away. âIâm here.â
Kiki looked at him in confusion. âWhy didnât you wait for me at the gate?â
âKiki, the man from before was here againâ¦â He looked at her pitifully and pointed at the luxurious car not
far away.
Inside the car, Tristan frowned and immediately said to Matt, âDrive.â
They were in a school zone, and there were many kids around. So, the driver didnât dare to start driving. Just as he started the car, an innocentâlooking child and a woman in high heels approached them
furiously.
Kiki placed her hand on the carâs window and waited for Tristan. âWhat in the world are you doing, Mr.
Shaw?â
When he saw how angry she looked, he was speechless.
âDonât you feel ashamed for holding a grudge against a kid?â She warned him, âIf I see you harassing my son again, youâd better get ready to go to jail.â
Before he could say anything, she left while holding Zacharyâs hand. Zachary turned his head back to look at Tristanâs car and smiled. It seemed to him that he had found Tristanâs weakness.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the car turned cold.
Tristan didnât understand how he had harassed Zachary when he had just come to see his own son. He couldnât believe he would have to go to jail for that!
His dashing face turned gloomy at that moment. âWhat are you waiting for? Drive!â he said in a low voice.
Upon hearing that, Matt hurriedly started driving.
While Kiki took Zachary to her car, there were two figures standing near them. One of them was Shannon, while the other person was her secretary, Mandy Hills.

Ever since Shannon had seen Zachary, she had come to pick up Malcolm as an excuse to see him.
When she saw Kiki that day, she couldnât help talking to Kiki. She approached Kiki in her high heels and asked, âAre you Zacâs mom?â
Although she was in her 50s, she took good care of herself and looked like she was in her 30s.
Kiki hadnât thought that another villain would show up right after she had gotten rid of Tristan. Since Shannon had bullied Yvette a lot, Kiki didnât treat her with any respect. âWhat if I am?â
Shannon was stunned. Mandy was about to scold Kiki, but Shannon stopped her. Then, she forced out a gentle smile, which left Kiki feeling weird.
Kiki had once seen Shannon when she had attended a banquet with Michael. However, she had never seen Shannon smile before. She couldnât believe that Shannon was actually smiling at her now.
âZac is just too adorable. I was wondering, could he come to Lane Mansion to play with Malcolm for a few days?â Shannon liked Zachary a lot, and she was willing to humble herself for him.
She thought Kiki would agree to her request right away. Unexpectedly, the latter scoffed. âNo, Iâm not going to let my son go somewhere unfamiliar. What if he runs into a bad guy?â
After saying that, Kiki shot Zachary a meaningful look, so he went with the flow. âSee you, Mrs. Lane.â
