Despite that, Tracy refused to leave. Even when his bodyguards came to kick her out, she clung onto the furniture and refused to let go.

He made the bodyguards let her go. Upon being released, she kneeled on the floor and began telling him what had happened.

âThey beat me up and cussed at me. They said it was audacious of me to provoke you. Since then, Iâve been assigned to entertain guests.â
Tears streamed down her face. âWhenever I refused, they beat me upâ¦â
Without Xavierâs orders, his men wouldnât do anything on their ownâhe was sure of this. He instructed his bodyguards to escort Tracy out of Sternhow Club. Subsequently, he had someone find out who was behind this.

While she was trying to come up with a suitable explanation, her agency received a legal letter from Cameronâs lawyer. The court had decided to go forward with her plagiarism case.
She didnât know how to ask Xavier for help at this point
If only Tristan was still willing to help her out. She couldnât help but sigh.

âI suppose thatâs our only option.â Daphne was unwilling to apologize to Yvetteâs friend, but there was nothing else she could do. âPlease help me get in contact with her.â
Yvette was woken up by a call from Kiki.
She hadnât been able to sleep well that night. Every time she had thought of Xavierâs offer, she had become extremely angry.
She picked up the call. âWhatâs up?â
âGood news, Yvvy. Daphne wants to see me. She said she wants to personally apologize for plagiarizing.â Kikiâs lips curved into a smile. âShe even told me to go see her. The sheer audacity of this woman! I told her to come over to my place instead.â
Who in the right mind would ask the recipient of the apology to go to them?
