Chapter 17 Nice to be nice It was sunny when I woke up. As I turned over and opened my eyes, I saw her small, pretty figure. She was sitting on the sofa, dressed up. She had magazine in her hands and she looked at me. I sat up and stretched, trying to wake up.

“What time is it?”

“It’s quarter past nine.”

“That is too early.”

But I remembered, for her, it was probably too late.

“I mean, it’s too early for me. Have y you had breakfast?”

She shook her head.

“Then you must be hungry. Just give me a f few minutes.”

H I noticed her surprised gaze, but she didn’t say a word. After getting out of bed, I went to the bathroom. I dressed up and when I went back; I found her in the same position.

“Come on, Alice, we can go down to have breakfast.”

She put the magazine down and stood up, I walked to the door, and she followed me all the way down. When we arrived in the dining room, everyone was there and all of them looked at us, surprised.

“Good Morning everyone.” I said.

“Good morning.”

They all responded.

I pulled out a chair and motioned Alice to sit down, then I sat next to her.

“Have you had a pleasant sleep, Gideon.

My mum asked.

“Yes, I nearly forgot how comfy my bed is.”

I laughed.

I put some food on my plate, but I noticed Alice’s plate was empty. Probably after yesterday, she didn’t dare to touch anything. I thought about what a girl like her could have for breakfast. I quickly took my phone, and I searched it on the internet. There was some cereal and fruit on the table. I took a plate, and I put some on it. I poured milk on the cereal and put it in front of her, then I took the fruit bowl and put it next to her.

“Help yourself Alice, enjoy.”

0 Bonu 03:1 She looked surprised, just like everyone else around me. She took her spoon and ate. I ignored my family members. I knew what they were thinking of They all thought 1 shouldn’t do this. I knew that myself, but that just felt nice to be nice to Alice.

“I thought Alice had breakfast already with Lily.”

My mum said, and I hated to see Alice stop eating.

“No mum, she slept next to me. I didn’t want her to sleep in the staff quarters. She is my wife, after all ”

From the corner of my eyes I could see everyone’s surprised look, but I didn’t care. I looked at Alice.

“Lat. We are leaving after breakfast.“I told her. She took het spoon again, and it satisfied me to see her eating.

“Why do you rush so much?”

“I have a lot to do, th then I have to go to the club tonight.”

“Meeting your w*ore?”

Seth asked.

“No... actually I’ve got to work.”

I finished my breakfast and waited for Alice to finish. Then I turned to her.

“Was it enough?”

She looked into my eyes, which made my heart jump, and quickly lowered her head.

“Yes, thank you.”

“You’re welcome. You can go upstairs then. Just take your staff. I’m waiting for you outside. We are leaving soon, but you don’t need to rush.”

She nodded and stood up to leave the dining room.

Just when she left, Seth turned to me, followed by Sloane.

“Are you insane? What the hell are you doing?““Calm down Seth. I’m doing what I feel like doing.”

“You shouldn’t treat her like that. She will soon be gone.“I looked at him, and I tried to hide my anger.

“Maybe, but she is a human, and she deserves to be treated as a human”

“Is a human normally used as bait?”

I bit my lower lip.

“I do what I feel is right. You have nothing to do with that.”

I stood up.

“Where is Ava?”

“Outside, playing. Why?”

“I just want to say bye to her.”

“Gideon, I want to ask you to go alone.”

Leah said worriedly.

I frowned.

I laid down on the sofa, and I watched tv. It was about lunchtime when I felt hungry.

I drove back home. She First, I thought I’m going to order, but i thought maybe I could drink a beer before that, so I went to the kitchen. I could smell something nice at the door, and when I entered, I saw my little wife cooking.

She had earphones in her ears, and she moved her butt to the music. My eyes stuck on it, and even if I didn’t want that, I hardened immediately. Recalling the conversation last night with my dad about her punishment, I shook my head in disbelief I could think about such a thing. I would never force her to do sexual things with me. Never.

Probably she saw me from the corner of her eye as suddenly turned to look at me. She had a frightened look, and she took the earphones out, but she said nothing. I smiled at her.

“Nice moves.”

I didn’t know what was wrong with me. She lowered her head and her face reddened instantly. I think I liked that just as much as I hated that.

I had a thought.

“What are you doing?”

“L... I... cooking.”

She stuttered.

“What? It smells nice”

I moved closer.

“It’s a Chinese–style dish... chicken. It’s healthy.”

She took a deep breath, then looked at me.

“Do you want to try it?”

“Would you give me some?

She nodded.

“Yes, then.”

“It’s nearly ready.”

“Okay,”

+10 Bonu I took a beer from the fridge, and I stayed in the kitchen to drink it. I watched her. She moved inside the kitchen with confident. I was sure she get tired 03:0: to cooking. When she finished, she took two plates, and she put the food on them nicely.

“Do you want to eat here?”

She asked.

“No.”

I said, and I took my plate to go to the dining room. I had never used the dining room before. After sitting down, I awaited Alice, but she didn’t come. I stood up and went back to the kitchen to find her standing at the counter and eat. I folded my arms at my chest and I watched her. When she noticed that, she looked at me surprised, and questioning “Are you coming?”
