“Like I said, they want to bring me back as a live-in son-in-law,” Josue responded with irritation.

Bryan straightened up, contemplating for a moment before decisively stating, “That’s not possible. Your ex-wife’s brother has a unique status and can’t move freely between countries. He wouldn’t come here just for your ex-wife.”

Josue threw his phone onto the table, ran his hands through his short hair, and said, “She wants to meet me before explaining why they’re here.”

Bryan placed his car keys on the table and pushed them toward Josue. “Take my car.”
