Chapter 444:
The vivid red card clearly indicated that it was an invitation to Brandon and Lydiaâs opulent wedding anniversary party, extended to Eileen.
It was a business invitation that didnât include Bryan, but it allowed Eileen to bring a guest.
âPerhaps you should simply mention their names,â Raymond suggested.
Eileen felt uneasy about his suggestion. After all, Bryan was also a member of the Dawson family. And they were a couple.
Raymond almost bit his tongue and quickly corrected himself. âAh, I mean, what do you think? Should we go?â
âI donât see any reason why we shouldnât go,â Eileen said as she entered her workplace after accepting the invitation. âIf theyâre brave enough to invite me, Iâll go. Thereâs nothing to be afraid of.â
Since it was their special day, any pranks would ruin it for Brandon and his wife. Eileen, however, wanted to bring a touch of âexcitementâ to the party.
âWill you be attending with Mr. Dawson?â Raymond asked.
Eileen paused for a moment before replying, âWeâll see.â
In truth, Bryanâs hair hadnât fully regrown yet, and it wouldnât be appropriate for a formal occasion.
Raymond chuckled quietly, trying to suppress his amusement. âHaving Mr. Dawson accompany you might tarnish your image.â
Lately, even Raymond found Bryanâs untidy appearance rather unappealing. He had only seen Bryan at home, in pajamas, playing with toys with Gabriela, or at times, using small hair clips to amuse her.
Every story starts at gⱯlnÏνð®ðsï¹ð¸Ð¾m In reality, Bryanâs new hair barely covered his scar, leaving his typically stylish look incomplete. Still, Raymond had forgotten what Bryan looked like in a suit.
âAlright, keep this discreet. Iâll decide whether or not to bring him.â
Eileen felt a bit concerned. Bryan was also reluctant to see Brandon. He probably preferred staying home with Gabriela.
âMr. Freguson has arrived,â Raymond said, smacking his forehead as he remembered. âHe requested that you see him as soon as you returned.â
âUnderstood,â Eileen replied, grabbing her phone and heading to Julioâs office.
In the expansive office bathed in sunlight, Julio stood in the solitary shadowed corner, his gaze fixed on the view outside.
After Eileen knocked, Julio welcomed her inside and returned to his seat.
âHow may I assist you, Mr. Freguson?â
âI need you to arrange a residence under either your name or Benjaminâs,â Julio instructed, pausing to light a cigarette before recalling Eileenâs child at home.
