That afternoon, Me and Loki read books while sitting on the couch. "What's happening in your book", I asked Loki.

"Two kingdoms are about to go to war. What's happening in yours", Loki asks.

"Percy has found out that he is a demigod", I said, not taking my eyes off the book. Out of the corner of my eyes, I see someone coming into the living room, but I didn't bother to look up and see who it is.

"What's happening to him now", Loki asks, not taking his eyes off his book.

"His friend who turns out to be a saytr is about to take him to Camp Half blood", I explained. Loki looks over my shoulder to read the book.

"Who are his parents", Loki asks.

"Sally Jackson and one of the Greek gods", I said.

"So this boy befriends a mythological creature and finds out that he's a demigod? He then learns about a thief who stole a lightning bolt that doesn't belong to my brother?"he asks.

"Pretty much", I said. We continued reading our books. The room had gone into silence until Loki spoke. "Do you know anything about your real parents?" Loki asked.

"No", I said.

"Maybe we can find out", Loki says.

"No, Loki", I said. There was a moment of silence. Loki looks at me with a confused look. "I don't want to know about my parents", I explained.

"How come?" he asks.

"They're the ones who abandoned me. On the streets. As a baby", I said.

"I'm sure they have a good reason for doing what they did", Loki says.

"They better", I snapped. "But I'm not going to find out what that reason was because I don't want to meet them. So you have to promise me that you won't try to find anything about my parents".

Another moment of silence passed before Loki spoke again. "I promise", he says. I walked away to go to my room and wait on dinner. I saw my Dad standing by the doorway of the living room. "Dad, how long have you been standing there?" I asked.

"I don't know. How long were you two talking?" Tony asks.

"Uh...only a minute", I said, not 100 percent sure.

"Yeah, I've been standing here for that long", he said. I walked out of the living, a little creeped out by my father's behavior.

Loki's point of view

Leya walks out of the room, leaving me and Stark in the living room. "You're going to do it, aren't you?" He asks. I knew what he was talking about.

"Every child deserves to know where they come from, right?" I asked. Stark nods in agreement before walking out of the room.

Yes, I lied to Leya. Can you blame me? I'm the God of Mischief and Lies
